3/9 – 66kgs. Up today from 65.7kgs. Not sure why when I ate within my macro/calories yesterday, lifted and did C25K. Im thinking it might be from the frozen meal I had last night for dinner which contained a lot of sodium? Oh well I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing, and hopefully the weight will fall off still.
3/10 – did not weigh in, but I know I would be a lot heavier due to eating out Friday night! The food was amazing though
3/11 – 66.6kgs. Imagined what I would have been yesterday if I’m still bloated today…
3/12 – 66kgs. Coming back down, but still gotta aim to lose 1.3kgs in 6 days.
3/13 – 65.2kgs . Yes! The bloat is gone!. 500 grams to go.
3/14 – 65.2kgs. I’ve increased my macros/calories from today to accommodate how much I’m exercising. Hopefully that doesn’t slow down my weight loss though!
3/15 – 64.6kgs. Yes! Exceeded round goal by 100grams. So excited. I’m finally in my healthy weight range. It has been so long. New goal for end of this round: 64.4kgs.
3/16 – 64.9kgs. I was bad last night. Had a few extra chips and potato than I should have…That would explain why my weight went up a bit..Either way still below 65!
3/17 - 65.2kg. I snacked late last night on cheese, and crackers so I’m hoping this is just bloat . But I know now if I’ve been 64.6kgs that I can get back there!

3/9 - 225lbs - Yay! I like that as a start. It might be back up tomorrow, though. My dad came to visit us and we went out to dinner to a place that had a very limited menu. I got a chicken sandwich, but didn't realize it was fried until it came out... I cut it in half, though, and substitutes fries for veggies!
3/10 - 226lbs. Yep. Not at all surprised thanks to last night's dinner. But I've done well today, so hopefully that'll reflect in tomorrow's number.
3/11 - 224.4lbs. Alright! Back down! I'm happy to see that. I keep looking through these before and after transformation photos and all I can think is I really want to be able to share my own some day... Just gotta keep working at it!
3/12 - 225lbs. I wasn't totally on track yesterday, so that's not a surprise. I just need to do better. More consistent.
3/13 - 223.8lbs. Woo, back down! I wasn't totally on my game diet wise today, but I did take a long walk so I got a fair amount of steps.
3/14 - 226lbs. I didn't want to report this. I really thought about leaving it alone. But I am on this journey to be open and honest with my health, so here we are. I overate yesterday. For sure. This isn't a surprising number. But today I resisted the temptation to go out and buy snacks so that I could overeat more. Instead, I stayed home and cooked chicken breasts and asparagus.
3/15 - 224.4lbs. I felt like I did a pretty good job yesterday with diet, which reflected well on the scale. But I did overeat a little today. I really need to get better with that...
3/16 - 225.2lbs. Well. Yep. The overeating gets me. I just have a really hard time fighting it. It's just tough when I'm still job searching and spend the majority of my time home alone. I overeat when I'm bored. But today I spent 5 hours outside building a deck! My husband and I are building a ground level deck ourselves and while he was at work today, I spent my time working on it, so I feel like I burned a good amount of calories!!

3/13: 222lbs. Below 2000 calories. 9000 steps and 30 minutes of weight lifting.
3/14: 222.5lbs. Normal weight fluctuations. I ate near maintenance level calories today, after factoring in exercise. I consider that a success since I ate at a Mexican restaurant where calories add up quickly!
3/15: 222.5lbs. Rest day/ no weight training. Walked 9000 steps and ate about 2100 calories.
3/16: 222.5lbs. 10000 steps and 40 minute workout. Ate about 2300 calories

3/09 - 62.7kg (-0.3kg) - Really happy with my nutrition over this last week. More of the same today. Plan for the weekend is to stick to my light lunches both Saturday and Sunday and avoid the bread basket at my mother-in-laws on Sunday night! I'm also going to go alcohol-free this weekend as it really blew out my numbers last round and I spent the rest of the week regretting it.
3/10 - 62.6kg (-0.1kg) - Maintained the drop, that's good.
This is my lowest weight in my adult life. I saw this number at the end of last year and again in the middle of last round before TOM. Here's hoping to push past it. Onward and downward! (Confession time: I had half a glass of red wine last night, so much for alcohol free)
3/11- 62.8kg (+0.2kg) - Slightly suspicious of this number. I suspect I'll be up tomorrow too. Went to the movies, enjoyed some popcorn, had a take away for dinner and some of my partner's Easter egg. Anyway, not complaining about that little blip as my weekend bump up! Yay!
3/12 - 62.6kg (-0.2kg) - It's Monday and the weekend weight is gone already! This never happens so I am suspicious but happy. Meals prepped for the work, weather looking ok for a few walks - looking to be a good week!
3/13 - 62.3kg (-0.3kg)- Hooray! I've been pretty consistent and focused. Went for a walk yesterday even though I didn't want to. Getting about 3L of water a day. All going to plan, I am hoping to make my goal by Thursday
3/14 - 61.9kg (-0.4kg) - Holy poop! I was not expecting another whoosh this round. I'm now under my goal weight for this round but am going to leave it at 62kg as I expect hormones and a Saturday night party to provide a little bump before Sunday. Yesterday - Under cals, 3L water, mostly eating protein, fruit and vegetables. It appears it's working!
3/15 - 61.8kg (-0.1kg) - The whoosh stuck, yay! On target with my calories, getting all my water in. Not at work tomorrow but am going to plan my food in advance and stick to it - I usually struggle without my week day routine.
3/16 - 61.6kg (-0.2kg) - down down down so I'm a couple of kilos away from my ultimate goal weight and today I have decided that I'm going shopping and I'm going to treat myself. I'm going to buy a couple of things I've been wanting to wear but have avoided my whole life: a bodycon dress, some (slightly) cropped tops and a nice belt to show off with my high waisted jeans. All things I have avoided FOREVER because of my tummy. This feels like an important day for me. Thank you all so much for all your support, I couldn't have gotten to this point without these challenges!
3/17 - 61.4kg (-0.2kg) - Wow, what a round, a loss 8 out of 9 days so far!
I have a party tonight and I know the food is going to be AMAZING so expecting a bump tomorrow. ^^^ Shopping trip was a great success Thank you all for you kind messages xxx

3/9 - 97.1kg -2 glasses of wine, 2 biscuits and some sweets... Yesterday was a bad day-toddler on complete meltdown toddler mode from 8am to 7pm! Hasn't shown on the scale but I'm sure it'll bite me tomorrow! But I have spinning tomorrow so fingers crossed I get away with it!
3/10- 96.8kg - bit of a tummy bug during the night so doubt this will stick!
3/11- 97.6kg - knew it wouldn't stick, but I did also end up eating 2 semlor and having a few glasses of wine so that will probably explain it! Buuuuut I have done 45 mins spinning plus a bit more cardio and a few weights today so should start heading down again tomorrow! (Fingers crossed!)
3/12- 97.4 - Spinning paying off! Had a big Saturday but gym yesterday and stick to plan for the week and the numbers should keep going down!
3/13- 97.5 - ugh... not good, half way and i've put on half the amount of weight i was aiming to lose! I have no idea... Under my calories... I even made an allowance for the treats I ended up eating while doing the budget! Got out for my run this morning though... Up at 6am and completed w4 d2 of couch to 5k... Head up and keep marching! Going to need to work hard for next 5 days to get to 96.5kg target!
3/14- 97.6 Seriously... Wtf... I don't understand this... I've been eating less, moving more and yet I'm not losing anything.... Really disappointed! Going to adjust my target to 97.0kg.
3/15- 97.6kg okay… Getting irritated now! There's gotta be a woosh coming right?! I'm eating at a deficit, sodium is low and I'm working hard on my fitness… hard not to get disheartened! Just keep the head up and keep looking towards the goal right?

3/9 (Friday) - 219 - Yesterday I was 217.6. So, let the water weight games begin. Lol
3/10 (Saturday) - 220.2 - Hahahahaha I hafta laugh :-) but I'm getting closer to another 20 lb loss, therefore, a bounce in weight. That's what my body does. I just need to stay on point with water, food and macros. I drank over a gallon of water yesterday, but under calories by 188, wasn't hungry enough to eat them.
3/11 (Sunday) - 217.4 - Yeah. Games.
3/12 (Monday) - 217.6 - SMH - I had a talk with her (my body) She's stubborn, but I'm determined.
3/13 (Tuesday) - 218 - Has to be electrolyte imbalance, food, water, calories, macros are on point. Interesting how the body works.
3/14 (Wednesday) - 217.4 - I was not going to comment today, but I have lost 35lbs since September '17. That is 5lbs a month and one of those months I was in a plateau. Some years ago, I developed the habit of of weighing myself once a week. During a fat loss period, I know that my weight fluctuates too much from water. So, all that to say, if my weight by the end of this 10 day challenge settles to 217.4, that is a 1.2lb loss and I cannot be dissapointed with the number.
3/15 (Thursday) - 217.4 - scale flashed 216.8, then 217.4. Bodyfat % dropped slightly, so I think I may be 216.8.
3/16 (Friday) - If this weight holds steady, that would be a 1.4lb loss for the week and I would be on track. Dropped another .4% of bodyfat also. Very happy about that.

03/09 = 159.4 First day of Spring Break! Hope to get in lots of exercise over the next 10 days!
03/10 = 160.2 Vacation food and drink. Splurged on a shrimp dip that was amazing.
03/11 = 161.2 Well, I expected yesterday morning’s “up”, but not this one. I worked hard yesterday, riding my bike 10 miles and walking 4 miles and getting 21K steps for the day. Ate well within limits. I guess this is still carry over from Friday’s splurge. Gotta get this back down! But I’m up early to ride before the rain comes.
03/12 = 162.4 Ok, this $%*#@ has got to STOP!!! I rode my bike 12.72 miles yesterday morning before the Island Way Grill Brunch Buffet (which was wonderful) then hiked 5 miles along the Hillsborough River. I ended up with 22K steps for the day. There is NO way I’ve eaten 10K calories over maintenance in the last three days, but here we are. Gonna push water and cook my own meals today and see what happens. Come on, body, get your act together!
03/13 = 160.4 That’s better! Now, gotta work back down into the 150s again.
03/14 = 159.4 Finally back where I started! YAY!
03/15 = 160.2 Rode 17 miles on my bike yesterday plus did some walking.
03/16 = 159.6 Guess this is just going to be a maintenance round. But I guess since it’s also vacation, I should be ok with that. Still not happy about it though. Rode 8 miles on my bike and also walked a LOT.
03/17 = 159.2 Headed in the right direction again, just doing it very slowly. I guess any loss is a good loss! Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! This group is a blessing to me and I appreciate each and every one of you!

3/12 141.5 (60 min elliptical; under calories; slowly but surely getting back down closer to 140)

I am going on an all inclusive vacation for 7 nights at the end of the month, so I know I will gain some back, but I can get it back off again. Maybe my strategy will be to continue losing for the next week so that when I gain it won't be that big of a deal? I think that less than this weight is too much for my large frame-I have very large bones/frame size and am 5'6. Let's see what happens. 60 minutes elliptical yesterday and ate back all calories. If I drop much more in the next couple of days, I will up daily calories)

Since joining the give me 10 challenges I have lost 26 pounds! My goal is to just move in the right direction, but I am going to go for another 3.... these mini goals are working! ONEderland is so in my sights!

I will be monitoring daily my calories, muscle mass, bone mass, water %, BMI index, ketone levels, blood pressure, and finally my weight. my doctor has full knowledge of this diet plan and he is monitoring my PT/INR
1988 high school graduation 185-190lbs
weight on 1/29/18 = 234.5
goal = never be over 20% body fat. 12-15% would be great.
round 33 - start=215lbs end 202lbs
round 34 - start = 202 end ???lbs
3/9 - 202lbs.
3/10 - vacation day. i will try and be good, was not good, had alcohol
3/11 - no scale and I ended up having alcohol
3/12 - 201lbs - long day. eat fine but didn't weigh myself till the end of the day, typically my heaviest time right after diner
3/13 - yesterdays weight was from 4 am after bringing wife home from hospital. she will be okay. not going to weigh myself till tomorrow morning, foods for the rest of the week should only be from my approved list. I am planning on some rapid loss over the next 6 days.
3/14 - WOW finally 198.8.bs, 54% water, 145lbs muscle, 7lbs bone, 22% body fat according to new scale, Ketone looks good, and it couldn't have been on a better day. today I am cutting as much salt from my never monitored salt intake. I am only trying to limit any fluctuations due to water weight.
3/15 - 196.4 I was half expecting this due to yesterday I changed my fish to unsalted, and gave up pickles for cucumbers. I did eat almost 2 pounds of meat yesterday. probably bounce back up in a day or two. scale showed water at 52.7%
3/16 - 197.2 - sounds crazy but glad to see a slight gain. in the big picture I still think I will count the day as a loss of body fat. I most definatly don't want to need the IV of water like my wife did the other night. had a gigantic dinner that still was only 600 calories. all in all a great day. will be buckling down Saturday and sunday.
3/17 - 195.? - avoided eating pizza at bday party but did have 3 mix drinks there and a couple at home. still under my personal calorie goal.

I decided to participate in 49 day work challenge to test my willpower. I have done great on food but still have yet to go a full week without whiskey. I guess making it 5 days without is better then the everyday binge drinking for 20+ years. challenge is done on 3/19 and if I win the money there is a all u can eat crab leg casino buffet waiting for me.

3/11: --Took a break away from the scales while I went through a round of meds. Will weigh in the morning to see the damage.
3/12: 217.2 Not good at all, but not as bad as I thought. Cleared to do light exercise again---so, I'll be back at it this evening.

3/14: 215.6---back in the groove with cardio, strength training and WATER. When I'm not working out and sitting around idle I drink next to nothing (besides my coffee ).

3/16: 214.6--weighed after being in the yard working for 2 hours (even though I was drinking water). Will not be surprised if I weigh more in the morning.

I have 2 more days to go but I have exceeded my goal for 49 day work challenge. about 40lbs down
what works for me. I would be interested in learning what is working for you.
1. limiting food choices. I have about 10 healthy foods on my list. seems to eliminate cravings.
2. reading labels on everything.
3. have one hot large very fulfilling meal a day. and a sensible lunch.
4. no food past 8pm
5. do not drink alcohol every day. weekends okay
6. learn to eat for survival not enjoyment. my go to was raw cucumbers and pickles. I didn't have to like it but I could eat as many as needed to fill my stomach.
7. tell the people closest to you what your doing. this motivated me a lot. I do not like to publicly fail.
8. get back up after a bad day! never give up.
