I am finally laying off of the frosting (praise the Lord), and, I've been doing extra workouts--kicking it up a notch--so this "200" is water, edema, muscle (I've been strength training)...It's nothing new to see this up/down fluctuation. I've been up to 202 then a day or two later --198! Anyway, I'm on the right track with my diet and workouts, so maybe I'll see some change in the next few days...P.S It's starting to get warmer, which means longer hikes outside...yea-yeah!!5 -

Happy Sunday, everyone!
I *think* things might be moving again. I still haven't seen a new daily low since March 3rd, which was 204, then I popped up and have gained and lost the same 3 lbs. since.
I have been in the 204s 4 days in a row. Last Monday I was 207 (whaaaa?), otherwise my average might have looked a bit better, but that is how it goes, so maybe I can finish the month with a new low average.
My best so far was 205 even the week ending March 11th so I am close.
I hate plateaus. Or is it plateaux?
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1999: 195.
Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.
MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233
Goal: 180 in however long it takes.

I logged 5 of 6 workouts for the week (my goal) which includes: Pilates, Yoga, KT Bell, DB Bell, Resistance Band exercises and Elliptical...which includes my ToM. I normally give up and say next week but things are changing!
I ate within my calorie goal 3 of 7 days so room for improvement!

This week was really pretty much as expected. I had adjusted my MFP settings last week (down to 0.5lbs per week) and had a big celebration day on Saturday (still have not figured out how to log all different food).
All planned and no surprises, and while I did eat more than usual and off my normal selections I did keep portions under control). A lot of my "exercise" this week transitioned to hiking in the hills. There were a couple of short (4mile) fast (3.5 to 3mph) hikes over hilly terrain. Then Sunday was a 10 mile hike with 2,500 elevation up and down, moving along at 2mph.
Other than the Saturday celebration, I have remained diligent about logging and watching portions.
It seems a little unlikely that I will make my April goal of 183 with my current plans. But that is just fine. I am feeling good and would rather stick to my current plan of eating and exercise rather than try to chase 2 pounds.

ok, I really need to kick it in this coming week, and kick it HARD. Mother in laws birthday was this weekend.
How not to lose weight decrease your water intake, no cardio, increase your sodium..... which was the extent of this weekend. Time to kick it hard.
