    Great. Yet another MFP rookie to tell us all how this site is supposed to work ...

    I think it's more important that people learn that MFP is made up of all different types of people, and sometimes you are going to see things here that you don't like and don't agree with. It's almost like it's the Internet or something.

    "turning into" ? MFP has been this way since I discovered it about a year ago. I deleted my account over it but later realized that I'd over-reacted and re-registered.

    WIthout knowing what prompted the OP to author this thread, I'm going to go ahead and assume that constructive criticism and/or dissent was once again misconstrued as rudeness. I'm playing the odds on that one since 90% of the time, that's what this boils down to.

    And just to add, my high school wasn't filled with ****ty negativity.
