June 30 is my lowest weight ever, and it was the first day my trending weight dropped below 150. I have no doubt I will pop back up again, but the trend still looks good! River trip coming up, so who knows what will happen. I will be VERY active, and I will also be eating at will.

WEIGHT LOST THIS WEEK: 1.0 pounds. I was out rowing the Rogue River and eating LOTS of food, but was also doing a lot of work rowing, rigging, hiking, and just being on the river. I was down to 146.6 when I got home, but was probably dehydrated and put a pound back on; that's just one pint of water.
CHALLENGE WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: 7.4 pounds (scale weight 145) in 22 weeks.
ACTUAL WEIGHT LOSS FOR CHALLENGE: 5.0 pounds in 13 weeks. It's a good general trend. If it continues, I will hit my goal. I have another river trip coming up and a dive trip; who knows what that will mean.

I like two things about your challenge. First, each week is listed. That's a great motivator for me. Secondly, it goes for four months.
By December, I should be able to meet my own goal. Would love to see you create a new challenge beginning Sept 1st with the same countdown and just stay in maintenance as others do the final countdown.
@Rebecca512787 -- I didn't start this challenge, but I may do just what you suggest. Or maybe YOU can and post it's available here. I'm ready to start maintenance. I sort of already have; I played around with maintenance calorie allowance at my goal weight, and it's just slightly higher than I'm allowing myself now. So I'm slipping up in what I allow myself, but I'm being a little distrustful of some of the calorie BURN estimates that MFP gives, so I'm trying not to eat 'em all back. Puts me out of the "within 15%" range that MFP gives on its reports, but I know what's going on!

JULY 16: 306.9 (+4 lbs) All water weight. I joined a gym last week and went from couch slug to gym enthusiast with five consecutive days of gym activity. So many body parts are sore right now, and my feet are really swollen from doing a lot of standing in the kitchen batch-cooking and food prepping on the weekend. I stayed on plan and maintained a good deficit. I am positive that this too shall pass. And I'm going to the gym again tonight after work.

I have been on a great downward trend! I had slightly modified my total calories 2 weeks ago and the weight is just coming off. I think I must have been in more of a maintenance zone? I've almost met my goal for June and have been in the 155s consistently for the past week. Going to stick to my plan best I can for the rest of the month, but will not change my goal.0 -
