5/08 / 259.0 / Here we go! I was so down about my last round that I decided to see how much I'd stalled out in my weight loss over the entirety of this attempt (from Jan. 16th). I thought, surely, with the time I spent out of state, my mother's death, and this past round I must be at least 5 pounds behind my "two pounds a week" goal. Shocker. No. I am still ahead, having lost more than two pounds a week on average. I know weight loss starts with water weight but it helped put the wind back in my sails.
5/09 / 258.0 / I have never really looked at my macros. I just count calories. By coincidence, my fat calories were high, protein was just below target and carbs were way low. You Keto people know where I’m going with this, right? I.Wasn’t.Hungry.
5/10 / 256.8 / Thank goodness.
5/11 / 256.4 /
5/12 / 256.6 / My daughter made dinner, something she knew would be okay for me to eat. She cannot help but use salt liberally.
5/13 / 256.4 / Happy Mother’s Day to all good mothers!

Took a long uphill hike & felt great! AMAZING how much more FUN & PAINFREE hiking uphill is now without hauling 57.7 POUNDS up the mountain with me!! Must remember this.
Grateful for your hugs yesterday. I’m in a good place with food, exercise, sleep, and mind. Will know a lot more tomorrow.
I hope you all have a great day!

5/08: 503.2- Highest I have ever weighed. I am hopeful with this new plan I am going to be doing. I'm also excited to join this forum for accountability.
5/09: 501.8- I could have done a lot better. Today is a new day and I will continue to push forward but do even better than I did yesterday.
5/10 500.8- I think I am being a bit too hard on myself while wishing I had lost more than just a pound. I did so good yesterday and I am proud of myself for that. Let's do great again today!
5/11 500.6- I know exactly what happened- I did amazing all day long yesterday but for some reason right before I was about to go to sleep, I got so hungry. I ate over my calories by almost 900. It was healthy food but still, calories are calories. I'm ok with todays weigh in.
5/12 498.2- I’m very happy with this because I tried hard. This just proves I’m able to live a life I’m use to while losing weight. I went out to eat but counted calories and made sure not to go over.
5/13 No weigh in today because I only slept 3 hours. Plus I overate last night big time. Regret sunk in after it happened. It’s a vicious cycle having an eating disorder. Anyways, Happy Mother’s Day.

5/08 180.2/I'm excited to start.
5/09 178.0/ I made good choices yesterday, hopefully this trend continues throughout the week!
5/10 177.8/ I've continued to make good choices, I'm hoping the number goes down a little more before the end of the 10 days. I'm hoping to continue with eating better this weekend.
5/11 177.6/ I'm honestly surprised to see this, we ate out last night and I thought based on salt content alone that I would be retaining a little water. We're menu planning our weekend so that we can continue to make good choices.
5/12 179.2/I had a lot of salt yesterday, but I'm still pretty disappointed.
5/13 179.8/ And back up more again today, I'm really disappointed, but my husband thinks I'm just retaining water. I'm trying to be more mindful today and drink lots of water.

5/08 174 - I’ve been stuck between 173 and 175 for 2 weeks. I hope this helps get me to 172.5
5/09 172 - Well that was quick, but knowing my body and my scale, I'll bet I go back up tomorrow.
5/10 172.5 - As expected, I'm a little up this morning. But as long as I can end this round at 172 or 172.5, I'll count this round as a win!
5/11 173.5 - After I cursed at the scale this morning, since I have stayed on plan all week, I threw on a pair of pants I haven't worn in about a month. I knew right away they felt different. Lo and behold, I didn't have my little muffin top! It will be these little things that keep me going through these plateaus.
5/12 172.5 - I'm happy with this. I had pizza for supper tonight so we'll see if the sodium causes a problem tomorrow. I'm still within my calorie limit.
5/13 172 - I'm afraid to get my hopes up, but things look better than last week!

5/08 – 63.3kgs – I know this is bloat from couple of days ago. But with better sleep last night, I’m ready to meet my macros and stick to my plan!
5/09 – 63.2kgs
5/10 – 62.9kgs. No where near where I want to be. *sigh* I was hoping it was bloat-in fact I was certain it was bloat. But maybe its not? Worse comes to worse, I’ll just adjust my goals.
5/11 – 62.9kgs. Will definitely not be able to meet my mini goal of 62kgs tomorrow. I was depressed about this because I’ve worked hard the last few days. I was so convinced it was bloat because I was 62.2kgs last week. I even thought I’ll binge of junk today just because ‘whats the point?’. But I decided to measure myself to see if I’ve lost any cms. In the last 2 weeks, I may have only lost 200 grams but I lost 0.5cm from my waist and 0.5cm from my hips! So I’m still leaning out – its just not showing on the scales…
5/12 – 62.6kgs – 600 grams away from mini goal. From now on, I’ve planned to give myself the next 2.5 months to lose 3kgs.
5/13 - 63.2kgs – Mothers Day. Gave myself a treat of untracking and just eat as I please
5/14 – 63.5kgs – I’m glad I gave myself a break from tracking yesterday. Had a great day yesterday and Im came to realise I actually prefer tracking because I eat a lot healthier.
5/15
5/16
5/17 – Goal to achieve: 61.5kgs. Readjusting my goal. NGW: 62.2kg.

Goal: Release 2 lbs per round. I won't reach my goal of onederland by Memorial Day weekend with this goal, but I'd rather reach it late than never!
Ultimate Goal: 175 lbs, reevaluate at that point
May:
8: 208.5... I'm down 7.4 pounds of water weight since I started a few days late last round. I'm feeling really good about being back on track!
9: 208.5
10: 209... Not bad considering the late, high sodium dinner and low water intake for the day.
11: 206.9... Did really well yesterday. Plenty of water, and I think drinking a homemade iced vanilla matcha latte every morning is helping with the weight release.
12: No weigh in today. Left home way too early in the morning for my daughter's soccer games over an hour away. I'm not off to a great start foodwise, but I don't feel the need to go overboard just because I've started out eating gas station food. I feel like that's a victory for me. I may end up a little over my calories, but I'm going to try not to.
13: 207.5... I'm guessing this is at least partially normal fluctuation. I've been on track with calories and water. I'm not concerned, especially because this weight is nearly a 3 pound loss this round already.

Hoping to get back down to my May 4th weight of 129.4 (and continue losing until I reach my goal weight). A lot of stress with 4 deaths in the past 10 days, directly related to me or to my relatives who married into the family. I will be glad when things settle down ... Felt so bad for my Aunt and Uncle who attended an 11 am funeral (Cousin) and a 2 pm celebration of life (Sister) yesterday for 2 relatives to then get word that my Uncle (his brother) died the same day ... Next week is the 1 year anniversary of his son's death ... Awful time right now. Congrats to all having success with your goals.9 -

Yesterday I ate a little more than I should because of being with my cousins. When I'm with someone or busy it's hard chose what I eat...
5/09 82 kg (180.7 lbs)
Yesterday was good actually. I walked a lot (about 13-14K) and didn't pass calorie limit. However, I just ate sandwiches, because I hadn't enough time to eat proper things... And also after 2 weeks, I swam and it's the first time I swam this much. I hope that tomorrow's weight will be less.
5/10 81.5 kg (179.6 lbs)
Yay! Yesterday was good. I overate at breakfast but did better after that and was below the calorie limit and also I walked 10k (steps) .
5/11 81.5 kg (179.6 lbs)
I was doing great until dinner... I was out with family again and drink a small beer (33 cl) and a white wine. At least I ate salad with them, right? It's really hard to me, going out and not drink alcohol... Still I was below the calorie limit and walked 10k steps.
5/12 81.1 kg (178.8 lbs)
Yesterday I ate a desert however I was very active at work. I didn't pass the calorie limit. I think it was OK.

Day/Weight/Comment
5/08 -- 190.4 I know that I've been comfortably within plan, so this isn't bothering me. I'm just sitting patiently waiting for my whoosh.
5/09 -- 189.2 And there it is! I hope the bounce back isn't too bad this time; that's what really flattened me last round (no, it was nothing to do with toffee pecan ice cream, why do you ask?!)
5/10 -- 188.2 Finally back on track. I hope that my numbers drop for a few days more before I hit bounce back.
5/11 -- 187.2 The irony is that I'm not doing anything different from last round, when I struggled to hold even. This weight loss business is a long game.
5/12 -- 185.6 I've now passed my "I will *never* let myself get this heavy again" top weight from 2013. Onwards. I expect the bounce-back to start any day.
5/13 -- 185.2 Whoosh is slowing down, which is fine with me. I'm starting to get nervous about how big the bounce back is going to be. I've had a really good run.
5/14 -- 184.8 Chugging along.

Two weekends away - work team building one weekend and just back from daughters wedding in Wales. Not been too bad but not weighed in for over a week and have indulged in good food and wine - especially at the wedding - such a social weekend as so many people stayed over - was wonderful but now back to reality! Friends wedding in June and then Sons wedding in July so plenty of reason to stay on track and focused!
5/14 - Will weigh in tomorrow morning and plan to get back in the game and finish the end of this round ready to attack round 41! Now off to read the posts and catch up with where everyone is!

Nothing works unless you have a sustained calorie deficit over time. Anything will work if you have a sustained calorie deficit over time.
Motivation is overrated. What you need is education, willingness to eat less, a good plan, and discipline to stick to it.

5/09—at Conference
5/10—155.8. I knew I would be up, so today is a new start date of sorts for me. I’ve been taking a break for a couple weeks really, what with a camping trip with grandkids and then this conference with lots of great food. Time to get back to basics, get past the cravings that will come after the last few days of eating carbs, and start the trend going back down.
5/11 = 153.8 That’s a step in the right direction! Now to keep going back down.
5/12 = 152.4 YAY!
5/13 = 151.8
5/14 = 151.8 Below my goal for this round, now if I can just keep it or keep going

5/08 95.9 I honestly don't understand what is going on… I'm eating under calories, getting my running in but it's impossible to shift this weight! Driving me nuts!
5/09 95.6 I would get excited about it going in the right direction but the last 2 rounds I managed to creep under 95, got excited and put it back on, so now I'll be constantly on the lookout for the bounce back!
5/10 95.1 usual up and down… wish it was just down…
5/11 95.1 happy as long as it doesn't go up!
5/12 94.9 I’m liking this… not sure it'll stick though, Eurovision tonight! But I have the snacks all planned out, all healthy veg and dips (I know to limit the dip!) But there will be prosecco as that is kinda the rule to have a fabulous drink while watching the fabulous Eurovision!
5/13 95.1 Not too bad!
5/14 95.1 …. Happy that it's not going up, but frustrated it's not going down…

5/08 - 62.8 kg (138.4)
5/09 - 62.6 kg (138) I ate 1000 calories yesterday. I know it is too low but I didn't feel like eating because I felt very fat.
5/10 - 62.2 kg (137.1) It was a busy day yesterday. I moved a lot and fell asleep before dinner.
5/11 - 62.2 kg (137.1) I didn't go over my calories but no loss today.
5/12 - 62.0 kg (136.6) I had 1250 calories yesterday. I should start working out but I don't like working out
5/13 - 62.0 kg (136.6) I was under my calorie goal yesterday but no loss today.
5/14 - 62.1 kg (136.9) I ate panna cotta yesterday. But I walked for 75 minutes afterwards and I completed the day under my calorie goal so I am sad about this gain

Day/Weight/Comment
5/08 313.8 (-0.0) (My doctor is having me move to a low carb diet between 20 and 50 carbs. I've done it once before with success but then found my way back to white flour, sugar, and all of the other crap that seeps into my food choices. I'm looking forward to planning, focusing and dropping some weight. Would definitely appreciate any tips other low carb/keto folks have found useful.)
5/09 312.6 (-1.2) (First full day focused on low carb diet. Managed well. Not focusing on what I can't eat but rather on what I can enjoy.)
5/10 311.2 (-2.6) (Having done low carb before I know I'm going to hit a point where meat and protein doesn't sound appetizing and I just want a donut......focusing on planning, spacing out meals and making sure I'm focused on why I want to lose weight instead of just the task of losing weight.)
5/11 311.0 (-2.8) (Field trip day with the 1st grade. Took my carb-less foods for lunch. Found myself less hungry than I thought I would be. Got my 10k steps before we got home. Next big challenge will be this weekend at home with kids. Make good choices -- remember why this path is my focus.)
5/12 309.8 (-4.0) (Ah, Saturday at home. Dinner out with the family tonight and my parents for Mothers Day. The day is fraught with challenges to sabotage my low carb plan. Choice by choice, plan ahead for dinner with menu online, stay away from bread......so much easier to type than to do.)
5/13 307.6 (-6.2) (Survived Saturday. Dinner at a nice restaurant, reviewed the menu online, chose my meal before I went, even logged it into MFP. Didn't eat the bread, didn't look at dessert. Focused on the people and the conversations. There is hope. Sunday beckons.......)
5/14 306.6 (-7.2) (Survived Sunday. Carb landmines at every turn but I managed to avoid them and stay on plan. Feels satisfying to keep focused and realize I can stick to something. It has been one week following a <20g net carb plan. I'm up for a second week....Hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead)
