New month, new challenge!

Our challenge is to do 10,000 steps in a day. You can do this for any one day or try for the entire month. Jump right in at any time! You can set a lower or higher goal if you wish. Our main goal is to keep activate every day!

It's easy to join - Just post here to begin! You can also jump in anytime during the month, too.

You will need a step counter to keep track of your steps and then post your results daily here.

    The Fat2Fit challenge / support group has been a great bonus to my Step Challenge efforts for the past month.     I’m trying to get back to at least 15,000 a day. Might not post here every day but I’ll try to remember at least once per week!

    Great way to keep moving ~ count me in too! I've just getting back into "moving" so I'm keeping my starting goal attainable (crossing my fingers!) to 8,500-10,000 a day.

    Hi - I have a mobility problem and often need a walking stick. So I am aiming for 8,000 steps per day. But if I am under it's usually because of the pain, so I don't push myself too hard. I think 8,000 per day is doable and would like to start tracking it here.

    Just getting back into fitness and MFP. This is a great motivator. I am setting a starting weekly goal of 65,000 (shooting for 10K a day).

    Something to aim to beat ... my May Monthly Total: 329,374 May was also the first time I did this Step Challenge. Some of you will have been at it for longer than that. If you have done this challenge in previous months, what's your "best month to beat"?

    1/6 - 6,041 ... oh, I spent too long sleeping in (which is a rare treat)
    2/6 - plan to hit my goal today! 4 sure

    I am in again. These challenges really help me get my steps in. I am in for 300,000 in June..average 10,000 per day. Hopefully will get more, but dropping back a little because of heat and vacation. Retired, so should have lots of time, lol. Fitbit user.
