08/6 ... 7k neat!didn't meet my goal, but I was taking it easy. And I somehow got 7,000 on the dot

10/6 - 9,711 .... ✔wonderful day, included bowling which always seems to help!
11/6 - 11,658 .. ✔not sure why! Just tried to be active all day. Got 12 active hours in.
12/6 - 7,251 .... oops - I walked SO much and was so active. ( 13 active hours ).
When I checked this at the end of the day, I wondered if I needed new batteries!let's see what tomorrow brings.
13/6 - 8,818 .... ✔ and a very "green" fitbit screen - all targets met + 13 active hours

I have a mobility problem and often need a walking stick. So I am aiming for 8,000 steps per day. But if I am under it's usually because of the pain, so I don't push myself too hard on those days. I think 8,000 per day is doable and would like to start tracking it here.

I'm in!! This is my first official challenge and I must say that I'm excited! Have been doing the last three months on my own but my weight loss is starting to slow down as I get closer to my goal and need a challenge to keep me motivated!

Okay so how do people find the time for this many steps? I walk to work, jog/walk from work and do a 3 mile walk on Saturdays and Sundays, admittedly to get to my free latte but we all have to have our motivation! I don't drive locally so how do I find time to make 10k steps? The other part is I walk at around 4.5mph and I don't think I can make more steps in a shorter time.0
