Did Tonya Larsens’s Step and Pump DVD today. The plan for tomorrow is to do Jeanette Jenkins 21 Day Total Body Circuit DVD.
We have a Newcomer board meeting.
Wendy – when FIL retired, I remembered him saying “I don’t know how I found the time to work”. At the time I thought “yea, right”. Now I know what he meant!!!! So glad you’re enjoying retirement. Good luck on your half, I know you’ll do fantastic
Heather – so sad about your cancer friend
Lisa – happy anniversary! How wonderful of your son to be so understanding and sending you the money which he didn’t have to but did anyway
Pip – keep exercising and take a deep breath
I think the renters across the street from us moved out yesterday. Don’t know if the owners are going to move back in, hope so. I thought they were very nice people, others didn’t. He’s from Australia and they went to Australia so their son could have an operation that he needed
Carol – lovely guest room. I especially like the rug. And the quilt
Terry in VT – so there you are! Welcome back
Taste of heaven – welcome!
Had the Newcomer board meeting, went in the pool, had dinner, then ceramics.

Mary Let me know. It would be great to see you. I know the health of your family comes first.
Pip I hope it continues to improve for you. Difficult work situations take a toll. I hope your time outside work is filled with relaxing fun things!

I am soooo behind with reading posts. I have lists everywhere to get ready for my trip. I forgot to look at the calendar this morning and missed my hair appointment. Ugh. Fortunateltmy hairdressers will work late tomorrow night to do me. Big tip coming.
Kelly- not an anniversary but we will leave on my birthday. Our TX family is going with us. We didn’t get the final release from my DGS’s surgeon until Thursday so now I am playing catch up.
Will try to read some more tomorrow.

Rebecca: Don't worry about the whole Island at once. Pick a destination and visit there, then go home. On some other day, pick another destination. You'll be glad you did. Whidbey has some great spots and loads of nice people. :flowerforyou:
Lisa: Happy Anniversary!!!
Tasteoheaven: Many of us have been here for a long time. I've been here for 2082 days, and counting. The system here is good and this particular group of women is amazing. I hope you'll join us.
Lanette: Our dog has so much trouble with booms & bangs at the Fourth of July celebration that we've reserved a campsite where they aren't allowed at all. I'm hoping for a peaceful Independence Day and a happy first trip in our new to us RV. We get the RV tomorrow for a test run and I think it will remain in our custody. We're supposed to get the propane filled and fill the gas tank as well. We also need drinking water. If the test result is great, we'll bring it home and start moving in. I'm hoping we can have some adventures and fun in this process. DH hasn't had much fun in the past few years. I've had outlets that give me things to do and new friends, from yoga classes to horseback riding. He's been getting by. That is one of the reasons I wanted the RV. I hope he'll be able to have a little adventure and fun.
Margaret: I love your wonderful garden photos and look forward to seeing them. Thank you for sharing! :flowerforyou:
(((Mary & also for your daughter)))
Pip: So sorry about the work stress. I hope things improve asap.
Busy day tomorrow. I hope we all have a good one.

Lanette As you've discovered, the firework-shy dogs are Katla's; but you are correct in remembering that I give my dogs CBD oil. I'm in Virginia, so can get only the hemp-based CBD, but it's amazing how well it works for them - my anxious dog Bailey is just calmer about everything. And it really helps with my 2 thunderstorm "scaredy-cats". We used to have a problem with disrupted sleep due to managing panicky dogs during a thunderstorm. Not any more. Thundershirts and CBD oil have them under control.0

Mornin’ busy day ahead on this stormy day. Gym, clean up and pack for our weekend getaway to Boston tomorrow! My DD is hosting a weekend gathering with her college friends (about 6 young women) coming for a weekend of nyc fun. No, we aren’t worried, she’s a great kid and all of her friends are lovely! Just have to make sure we have enough food and bedding for all. DH and I are introverts and couldn’t take the idea of spending a weekend with so many people around us so off we go to visit Adams Presidential home and jfk library cause we’re history geeks !!! Will get in lots walking and talking together.

Good morning Lovely ladies!
Thank you for listening to me whine yesterday. I really appreciate the outlet.
Micromanaging. .....OMG. .....my husband! I asked my sister in law if my start date was last week or a month ago. ....she said yesterday lol! He told me how to do my job of 20 years! I sent him home to work on whatever with his sister when she left, otherwise, I might have been in jail this morning. The Joy's of family business .
I am happier with my accomplishments yesterday. I logged food, cleaned up emails, cleaned kitchen, cooked dinner, did laundry, and totalled work invoices. 15 minutes at a time
Thank you all for inspiring and supporting!

Katla ~ What will you do if folks set off fireworks in the camp site? Just a thought. Hope not.1

Good morning all! Happy Thursday! Had a great day yesterday with the daycare boys! I was a little worried because they were bickering and picking on each other after breakfast. But as soon as we stepped out the door, they were absolutely wonderful! We got many compliments on behavior and manners as we walked through the downtown area (all those daily walks are good drill practice for them). We all had a good time and the kids were VERY ready for nap when we returned home at 2pm. So was I, but I didn't get one!
Machka- I always love to hear the "how we met" stories! I remember yours, but I don't recall hearing about the "previous" friend that didn't work out. Interesting how things work out.
LisaFingers crossed for your house! It does look like it needs a lot of tlc; but it doesn't look like anything too difficult.
Heather- Sorry to hear of your friends progression with cancer. Sending thoughts/prayers of peace and strength!
Barbie- Glad to hear your DH is on the mend and got the okay to do some lifting.
Suebdew- Happy that your DH is cleared for the cruise; and sorry you are scrambling at this point to get everything done! But I am sure it will be a wonderful trip!
Tasteoheavn- Welcome! I have been a part of this group for about two and a half years. I have lost a total of forty pounds since I started. Not much, but with life happening and stress/trauma brain; these ladies have helped me keep my focus and steer me back onto the right path when I have strayed. Come often, log daily, chime in when you feel the urge. Remember to bookmark this page and then look for Barbie's final post on the last day of the month to link you to the next month with the group (then remember to bookmark that page)!
Pip-Kirby's idea sounds like a good deal. Considering it? Or maybe if you are not ready to leave the workforce; a semi retirement until you find a job that will give you more joy? You certainly deserve some joy from your work. Not pissant people nit-picking over everything. Love, strength and patience to you!
Carol- I would definitely stay in your guest room! Looks very comfortable!
Kay- And after a good nights sleep in Carol's guest room, I would feel pampered by cleaning up in your new bathroom! Very pretty! I bet you are glad THAT is done!
Becca- Chocolat! One of my favorite movies! I love Lasse Hallstrom films. Have you seen The Hundred Foot Journey? I think I might like that one better than Chocolat.
Terry-Good to see you back! Sorry you have been laid up and feeling off kilter! Hang in there! Heal, read some inspiring stuff, work on your working muscles, and visit often so we can keep filling your "bucket"!
Margaret- Love the artwork! That little pooh with the "spilling honey pot" is adorable. The flowers, however, remind me of bees swarming out of the pot!
Lanette- DD and Joaquin will be with me two weeks from tomorrow! I had one of those dreams this morning (where your alarm goes off and a mini dream begins...)DD and Joaquin had just arrived and she had just handed him off to me. Didn't want to wake up.
Kylia- Hang in there! Hold tight! Just keep moving! There are those times in life when the world beneath our feet seems to be moving too fast to keep up. It will slow down and in the meantime, sending you some calming thoughts. If you can find even 20 minutes of time to just focus on you, through meditation, walking, swimming, devotion. Whatever you need, it may help center you and give you the strength you need to get through the busy days!
I have lingered well past my timer going off. I better get busy. ttfn xoxoxo KJ (Kelly)9 -

Kelly love the children playing! I have a feeling that is why the gardener chose yellow flowers for that display. She was the one who had rocks like I got from my mom. I always thought they were from Missouri but now I think my mom got them from here in Minnesota. This gardener put hen chicks in them and they looked wonderful. When I shared my story about my mom she gave me some baby hen chicks (it is a plant) to take home. What a wonderful way to remember her garden.
The mural was done by those in town to celebrate nature.
Made myself an oatmeal pancake today. I take a serving of rolled oats, some cottage cheese, baking soda, and an egg and grind it in the blender. I cook it as a pancake. It looks just like a pancake but is not made with refined wheat flour. I am trying to avoid refined grains. This is one treat that I have on my menu.I do not think this would work with steel cut oats.

Karen - how much and what strength? I've been checking a FB page on CBD oil for pets and some folks are giving 4 to 6 drops twice a day of 250 mg. The hemp based I purchased out here is 10 mg per full dropper. That's quite a difference.

Good Morning,
My name is Teresa and I am from Troy MI. Sorry about just the initials.
Thank you for the posts about how to count steps on the treadmill. There is one piece of equipment that does count my steps, it is a reclining stepper...but I really like the treadmill that gives me a really quick workout. So, again, I will keep an eye on my calories burned. I have actually logged in everyday to this app. I am journaling everyday...and I just went back to read some of my earlier comments and it really is keeping me positive on not so positive days. Started a little yoga last night in addition to my work out. Two short 15 minute segments and the stretching was really good. I will keep that up when I am just about to call it a night.
Looking forward to this journey. I am enjoying reading all the posts. You all help keep me motivated.8 -
I'm at the grandkids with no time to read, but just wanted to tell you we have had an offer accepted on a house in Hove this afternoon. We hope it will move quickly. It was above our budget, but so great we had to go for it.
Love you all, Heather UK XXXXXX16 -

Kylia: You were amazingly productive yesterday. WTG!!!
Carol: If people set off sparklers and pop-its I don't think there will be any trouble. If they go in for bottle rockets and firecrackers, the camp host will deal with it. Things that are legal in Oregon are not that upsetting. The noises that make our dog so upset are from fireworks across the river in Washington where more powerful fireworks are legal. The sound carries over the water amazingly loudly. :flowerforyou:
KJ: We have a fountain like that in our town. The kids can turn it on themselves and absolutely love it.
Heather: So sorry that your cancer friend is getting worse.
Pip: Happy 2285!
Lanette: I went shopping for CBD oil here a couple of weeks ago. One shop had it in a liquid mix with something else, and I shied away from the price. Yikes! What is a reasonable price? How do I know about strength? Maybe I was being a cheap skate. I fall into that pattern regularly.
Today we pick up the RV and load it up with gas, propane and water. We are nearly done with the curtain repair and it is coming out very well. We are both pleased. I have a bit of hand sewing to do and then we are done with it. Yay! It feels good to accomplish this task.

Lisa Oops! Got my L gals mixed up.
Margaret love the garden art, especially the pollinator mural.

Seems like I can't manage to do more than two things a day. Yesterday let the meditation/knee/core exercises slide but did go to T'ai Chi and dog school.
Today only Line Dancing, watering garden and lunch with new friends, so NO EXCUSES. Getting down on floor NOW!
Enjoy the day lovelies,

Good morning!
I’m so busy with grandkids I haven’t posted much. But I have scrolled thru yours.
Tasteiheavn welcome! I started here since March 2017 but took a long break and now since April I’ve gotten back on track. I’ve lost about 35 lbs and 60 more to go!!
We are going to Charlton Campground in the Ouachita National Forest today so the grands can experience swimming in the creek. They have it dammed up and it comes from a natural spring. We’re going early because we are having a heat index of 105f today. Hot! I got the cooler packed!!
Had anyone been watching the college World Series? Our beloved Arkansas Razorbacks are playing against Oregon State. The final game is tonight! Some fantastic baseball ⚾️ players!
Got to get moving.

Update on my daughter Sarah. I'm feeling extremely frustrated as a mom as I do not feel things are progressing at all. She still has the bowel obstruction and the abscess in her abdomen (which is 10 cm in size and wrapped around her ovaries and other areas). Of which is an assumptions on their part. They will be doing an ultrasound later this afternoon to see if there's any change. It has been one full week now. If any of you ladies have prayer chain at Church could you please ask them to pray for her.
Thanks for your support!

Clever people can look it up on street view.
No plans or photos because it was brand new on the market.
Detached, parking, storage garage, garden, good condition. You can see the sea from the front gate.
The vendors have had an offer accepted on a house with no chain. They want to move quickly. Crossing every finger and toe.
