Clever people can look it up on street view.
No plans or photos because it was brand new on the market.
Detached, parking, storage garage, garden, good condition. You can see the sea from the front gate.
The vendors have had an offer accepted on a house with no chain. They want to move quickly. Crossing every finger and toe.

Oh, Heather, it looks a dream!! I've never been to England and we can't drive the motor home over so I guess I'm gonna have to save my pennies. . So excited for you. I hope it all works out.1 -
We had a power failure last night and the battery backup on our clock didn’t work so I got up late. Actually, I got up about the right time but figured I’d go back to bed and the alarm would wake me up. Only it didn’t. So I changed to doing an extreme strength training DVD. The plan for tomorrow is to take the water class. My UPS was fried, not sure if it was because of the power outage or what. Fortunately, Vince had another one so I’m up and running. But I did lose internet connection
After class I’m going to go and see about getting rye bread for Vince and then to WalMart to get items so I can cook Saturday.
Katla – I hope your dog has an enjoyable fourth of July
Teresa – welcome! Come back soon and tell us more about yourself.
Heather – congrats on the house!
I got this bubba mug and evidentally the person before me had coffee in it. I don’t like coffee. It’s probably been about 1-1/2 years since I had even a taste of it. I just don’t care for it. But even when I did have some, it tasted too bitter to me. I had it at a Marriott hotel so I’m sure they don’t have poor quality coffee. Anyway, since Monday (or maybe it was Tuesday), I’ve had the mug filled with water and I put peppermint oil in it. I thought I’d taken care of the problem because last week at bowling I put a peppermint starlight (hard mint) in my water at bowling. But this week I could taste the coffee again. Fortunately, we don’t have bowling Monday because of the 4th, so hopefully, this will take care of it. Anyone else have any suggestions as to how to get rid of that nasty coffee taste?
Dana – have fun at the campground!
Mary – I am so sorry for you and your daughter. I’m really surprised that they aren’t moving quicker to get this taken care of. Vince had a bowel obstruction a while ago and he was in lots of pain
Rebecca – I’ll tell you my breakfast if you promise not to laugh. Mixed vegetables, Tone It Up protein, applesauce and blueberries. Stop chuckling under your breath….lol
Kate UK – lovely skirt
Went in the pool (natch), changed the pool filters, now Rover is running, put air in my float, got things ready to take to the Salvation Army tomorrow
Janetr – you look great. HB to Jack
Need to color my roots and take a shower.

Kim, no the wedding is not at my house, it will be in a park in the little town my granddaughter lives in about 40 minutes from my house. The reception will be at the VFW Post in same little town. I !ive in Oklahoma City area, my oldest daughter (mom of bride) lives in Denver, CO and youngest (mom of the son married last week) lives in Lubbock TX so they will all be staying at my house. Five guests for three nights. The motor home serves as a guest house in these circumstances along with our guest room. I LOVE having them all here and my daughters laugh and giggle like teenagers when they're together, does my heart good

Hi all,
Still taking in that we may, I say may, have a house. Still loving it. For those who are technically challenged, this is it.
Had fun with the grandchildren. Edie was recovering from a virus and had a cough and had had croup earlier in the week. She had been banned from sweets for a month because she ate Pringles without asking. She is addicted to salt and is restricted, so this was particularly naughty.
Max is banned from his X box games for a month because he ran off somewhere without telling anyone. DH had a conversation with him about why this was so bad.
Bea is just naughty.
I will post a pic later of us playing our favourite game, Baby Hospital, while DH went to pick Max up from school. Bea was an enthusiastic contributor.
Had fish and chips for dinner and watched the England game. Then drove home late.
V tired.
Going to ask the agents if they have even a preliminary plan of the interior. Can't remember what we are buying!

Good morning!
Am trying to stay productive....thank you for the support! Car show tomorrow so skipping work, yay! Husband wanted help cleaning car last night...I told him no. I had things that needed to be done. Vacuumed house, cleaned kitchen, finished laundry, paid property taxes-ugh! Did work paperwork for 90 mins before bed.
Breakfast is not my favorite meal time. I am not hungry in morning. About 1030 I am ready to eat. I like leftovers then. Breakfast foods are our go to dinner. Fast and easy.
It is hard when our kids are hurting. Prayers for healing.
CBD - it was recommended to me for migraines and knee pain. May need to try.
Went back to sleep after doggie got me up at 4. Slept in. Oops. Time to get ready for work.
Stay hydrated in the heat. Stay warm in the cold. Prayers and hugs for those in need. Congratulations and smiles for all the great works both large and small.
Donovan, my son in law that works with us is from Bentonville. He has been keeping me updated on world series. Haven't seen news yet today......
Have a blessed day!
Kylia in Ohio still swimming but having great support!3 -
Heather - I feel ya... that's why I drew out the plan of the house that we're contracted for, so I could remember! Otherwise, as soon as you walk away, you start saying, "Do you remember whether that second bedroom was facing the garden?" Plus, if you and your DH are like me and mine, you see completely different things when you walk through, so you notice things he doesn't, and vice versa. It really does look lovely--while still being something that is so opposite of what me and my husband wanted that it is funny. How close will you be to the grands?
Speaking of which, one of the things my husband told me was that he doesn't need a separate bathtub in the master bedroom, he'll just use the one in the hall bath (he takes a bath every Saturday night, but showers the rest of the week). So now I need to re-think my grand plan for the master suite... one of the things I love to do. He knows me pretty well.
Today, I'm remembering one of the many reasons I love my job: 4-day work weeks.
Might even accomplish something today.
Doubt it, though.
Love y'all,
Lisa in Arkansas5 -
Loving my back porch while having a second cup of coffee listening to the morning doves and the sprinkler watering the veggie garden. All is calm and quiet. The arrival of 5 college kids to our home late last nite was uneventful—completely quiet and respectful, lovely!! They headed to nyc very early this morning to hear a free concert On the today show, recording it in case they get on air!
Soon I’ve got to get packing and organized for our weekend trip to Boston. Lots to talk about with DH. He is once again contemplating a job change.

Michele, is the mug stainless steel? If so, I would try a little bleach and boiling water. Let the bleach water sit until the water is cold, then wash it good with soapy water and rinse with hot water. I’ve done this in the past to remove stains from my stainless steel coffee mugs. If that doesn’t work, then I would follow Barbie’s advice and toss it. Lifes’s too short to worry over it much.5

Turns out I've got severe arthritis in my right foot and moderate arthritis in my left foot. I'm hoping to see a podiatrist soon. No shoes are comfortable and every step hurts. But nevertheless, I need to walk ... it's how I get around. I'm not sure that any of the 110 km I've done this month have been "recreational". I think they've all been "utility" walking.
I've given up on running for the time being ... until a podiatrist checks things out.

Dana in AR: I just looked up the game and Oregon State was the winner. I'm sure everyone played well. Here in Oregon, there are Ducks and Beavers. We are Ducks fans because we're graduates of the U of O. In this case, I am pleased for the Beavs, even thought they aren't my team. :flowerforyou:
Heather: The home on Hogarth Road is charming and it looks like a well cared for neighborhood. Crossing my fingers and toes that this works out just as you wish.
Mary: Sending good wishes and prayers for Sarah.
RV Rita: Glad you made it safely to Winslow, AZ.
Lanette: There is a casino just across the river that shoots off excellent fireworks that we can see from our windows, but they are not the noisemakers that upset our dog. It is regular people camped along the shoreline of the river that make his life miserable. :ohwell: We won't be here to see or hear any of it this fourth of July. We'll be on our first trip in the RV. When I went to the local retailers looking for CBD oil for the dog, the prices for an ounce or less were above $90. I didn't buy. :noway: Instead we have embarked on an RV adventure and are getting out of town. The CBD oil would have been a lot less expensive, but the RV is really perking DH up. Yay!  Our former cleaning lady is a grower of medical MJ. I don't think she makes oil, though. :ohwell:
Meg: I think I've already mentioned that I take generic Welbutrin. It has done wonders for me. I hope it helps you, too. (((HUGS)))
Wendy: Good luck. I hope you are able to get information that will help your efforts to improve your health.
Rebecca: Living with adult children clearly has challenges. Yes, you are a mom and you worry. But your son is a man who makes his own decisions, and seems to have done pretty well. My son is career Army and has had some assignments that scared me silly. He knows I care, but doesn't want my advice (or my worry), so I don't offer it unless asked. Sometimes it is VERY HARD to be a good mom. (((HUGS)))
Janet: You are looking absolutely gorgeous! :flowerforyou:
Michele: Thanks for your good wishes for the dog's July 4th. We are going on an adventure & I hope we all enjoy the experience, including the dog. It will be our first trip in our RV, and is not too far from home, but far enough to be quiet. :flowerforyou:
Alison: I love reading your happy posts. Let the good times roll!
We have custody of our RV as of yesterday, and we parked it in the storage unit on the first try. YIkes! That thing seemed so ordinary in the street & at the yard where they worked on it. Getting into the storage unit was amazing. This is the first time we've ever had the door all the way up. I had to use a long pole to push it up to the top. There are still some issues with electricity in the bedroom, but we're going to have fun now and worry about fixing the electricity in the bedroom next fall/winter.

So busy. 8 hour+ days, 6 days this week and little time for anything else.
Thanks Barbara and Evelyn, I too think Kidd Kirby is a complete doll, but I know I start from a very biased place.
Today, even Charlie Underfoot wishes I’d just slow down and play with him.
The garage is still flooding when we run the clothes washer so Sunday will be spent at the laundrymat. We don’t have a spare five to ten grand to run a new sewer connection line to it, so we are out of luck. I am very glad we have 4 sets of sheets (especially since the cats share our bed) but will curse when we have to spend the hours there necessary to get everything washed.
Scale is behaving. Exercise is minimal beyond the strength training. Might be able to get a bit of swim in on the 4th, I hope. (Of course I’ll be working on the 4th too, just not a full shift because they are closing earlier).
So I’ll wish you all the best, not sure how much I’ll be around but I do usually have a slow down in the early evening at work where I can catch up reading about y’all - but my participation will be curtailed by the demands on my time.
If I grab a good kitty pic I may try to share it with you, but prob won’t have much time for more until and unless I can adjust to this schedule.
Love, best wishes, hugs and congrats to all,

I just tried bar keepers friend on a stainless steel pot I had let go dry on the stove the other day. The inside did not sustain any damage, but the pot had a nice black coat on it. With the bar keepers friend it got most of the black off. Thanks for helping me remember how well it works on stainless steel. It also works on porcelain, but check in a spot first and do not rub hard on the porcelain.

Ladies, thank you all so much for your kind comments.
I did get in a bit of a "discussion" with male neighbor after dinner last night. He was insisting that I had not had gastric bypass surgery because "they don't do that anymore". I sweetly told him I have the doctors information and pictures I can show him if he would like. When Jack came back inside after smoking, I told him that Floyd was insisting I did not have gastric bypass surgery, Jack said yes she had RNY, Floyd started back peddling then. Irritated me the most that he would think that I do not take an active part in my medical decisions/procedures done to my body. Believe me I DEMAND details of what ever is taking place in my body. Ugh old men!!! BTW he has three masters degrees, retired from teaching high school math and science and tends to be a "know -it-all" type.
Lol sorry for the tirade!

Rebecca: Don't worry about the whole Island at once. Pick a destination and visit there, then go home. On some other day, pick another destination. You'll be glad you did. Whidbey has some great spots and loads of nice people. :flowerforyou:
Lisa: Happy Anniversary!!!
Tasteoheaven: Many of us have been here for a long time. I've been here for 2082 days, and counting. The system here is good and this particular group of women is amazing. I hope you'll join us.
Lanette: Our dog has so much trouble with booms & bangs at the Fourth of July celebration that we've reserved a campsite where they aren't allowed at all. I'm hoping for a peaceful Independence Day and a happy first trip in our new to us RV. We get the RV tomorrow for a test run and I think it will remain in our custody. We're supposed to get the propane filled and fill the gas tank as well. We also need drinking water. If the test result is great, we'll bring it home and start moving in. I'm hoping we can have some adventures and fun in this process. DH hasn't had much fun in the past few years. I've had outlets that give me things to do and new friends, from yoga classes to horseback riding. He's been getting by. That is one of the reasons I wanted the RV. I hope he'll be able to have a little adventure and fun.
Margaret: I love your wonderful garden photos and look forward to seeing them. Thank you for sharing! :flowerforyou:
(((Mary & also for your daughter)))
Pip: So sorry about the work stress. I hope things improve asap.
Busy day tomorrow. I hope we all have a good one.

Slowly going back down to where I was with the weight. My dealings with vertigo put me up 4 lbs this month. I know I shall see those numbers on the scale, and looking forward to clothes falling off this old body! Haahaa! I do have some "slimmer clothes" in the back of my closet. Hopping to wear those soon.👍.
Yep, I don't give advice to my eldest son, unless he asks for it. Poor kid though, most of this week has just been work, sleep, eat something, repeat. He recd a scooter engine in the mail, and was tinkering with it yesterday. You'd think because he works with her engines all week, and working on a scooter engine would be the last thing he'd do, but no. I suppose its like a librarian, that on her off time, reads comic books like she's eating her favorite candy! Its good he has a hobby!
The other night the realtor guy called us, because he had gotten a frantic text from the owner! I guess the owner recd a late notice from the electric company for this house. We told him that our son pays the electric bill, and he has it on automatic payment. We looked into it, told son, and I guess the electric company put his automatic request in, in the wrong account number. Essentially, paying for his old place again! He got it all situated, but that owner we fear, will be a thorn in our side. The fact that, with this being a rental, and him leaving so much stuff around, make a us unsettled. Like he is letting us live here until he deems otherwise. There are 4-5 cans of gasoline in a shed outside, under the eaves of the house. There are 4 rakes hanging, two plastic bins of tree limbs. Husband said, he put it all on the list of stuff left, so I can't touch it.
Well Bill paying to do, and commissary shopping to get done. Of course son wanted to go, to pick out his stuff, but he won't be up for a bit yet! He is not a morning person!
Hugs everyone!!
💗💗

Janetr "Ugh old men!!" LOL!!!
Heather I adore your naughty grandchildren.
Michele The bleach and boiling water treatment works on ceramic & porcelain as well as stainless steel. Or you can use vinegar and boiling water which works well for removing coffee oils but doesn't bleach as well.
Katla I'm excited for your RV adventure. It's fabulous that your husband is getting a new lease on life!

Heather- love the house. Looks so cozy. I also have my fingers crossed. BTW, we will be in London for 4 hours on Tuesday.
Lisa- Happy belated anniversary.
Almost ready to pack luggage. Had a facial this morning and it was wonderful. I told the girl she has a gift and can relax her clients.
It was been over 100 degrees for a couple of weeks. Can’t wait to get to some cooler climates in the Scandinavian countries. Better get busy on my list.

Mary- so hoping your DD is getting treatment. My DGS who is 15 jest had surgery for a small bowel obstruction. They usually treat it by no food or drink for four days (I’ve had it twice) but his pain was so server that morphine wouldn’t control it. They found a twisted colon when they did the surgery. Will pray for her.
DANA- that is a great swimming hole. The kids look like they are having a great time.

So I spied it, added a spoonful of mashed potato from the other night, some wild rice, some green beans, a tsp of chicken stock, some cayenne pepper, and turmeric. Then he comes from the kitchen and states that I didn't leave any of the basic soup out, and had doctored up the whole pot. "Well you can always have the broth of my soup", I reply. Hmm, we have such different tastes! For me the more complicated, the better!
Well we are definitely reaping the benefits of retired military. Sure we have to pick a number at the base clinic pharmacy, but its free. We do have to buy out in town his magnesium, vitamin D, multi vitamin, and calcium carbonate. Thinking of checking out a vitamin store, and see if they have cheaper, maybe being a member we would have some perks.
Carol, love the bedroom set, really beautiful!
Pip, ooh evaluation time is no fun! The whole "do as I say, not as I do" mentality is frustrating! When the managers need to learn more skills then just delegating tasks! If only you could use your tried and true boot on them!
Hugs every one!

Good day!
Janet OKC That old man is just rude! I would of shook my head and ignored his blabbering mouth! Like you don’t know what kind of procedure you had done!!
Heather you have a nice tree out front too! It’s a cute place! I can’t wait to see to see the inside!
I’ve been busy today. The grands are on their electronics in the back bedroom.
I scraped all the stickers off my car windows. It’s about time! Texas DMV stickers, work parking permits, and even my Margaritaville sticker from the beach!
Then I polished up the dash and side panels.
I’m getting ready for my trip to Florida to take my grandkids back home. I think one whole month is enough. They are getting resentful and want their mom, pets, toys which is so understandable.
I made reservations in Vicksburg, Mississippi to break up the trip since it’s 700 miles from Arkansas to Florida. The Vicksburg historical site is across from the hotel so I can take them over there for a history lesson in the Civil War too!
I’m leaving next Sunday morning. My daughter got me her corporate card so it’s just $49 at the Courtyard. I saved $75!
Have a good day/evening!
