    I will, however, have yogurt for breakfast. Then I’ll base lunch around whatever protein I decide I want, and the same with dinner. Pick the protein first, then the carbs/fats will fall into place. Generally when I do that the percentages follow suit.

    I will look for leaner proteins....eat chicken or turkey more than beef generally...Would I rather have mashed potatoes or fries or a bun? Since I get mashed potatoes with just a little butter/salt/pepper, it’s generally the safer bet - or baked potato even.

    It almost becomes a case of “choose your doom”. LOL

    10 pounds of broccoli is better than 10 Snickers, I guess. Ugh

    i'd argue from a macronutritents profile - 10 snickers is likely better than 10lbs of broccoli...

    10lbs of broccoli = approx 4500g of broccoli = roughly 102servings of 1/2 chopped...
    102 servings = 1534cal (15cal/serving) = 1150cal of carbs (3g per serving) and 383cal protein (1g per serving)

    compared to 10 snickers bars:
    1 snickers bar = 250cal/12g fat/33g carbs/4g protein
    10 bars = 2500cal/120g fat/330g carbs/40g protein

    i mean, yeah, i would be in a sugar coma...but the snickers would be the better choice in the long run for the make-up...

    Man...dieting would sure be a lot easier if you didn't have to pick just one food and eat only that.

    If only....
