I did almost made it to my goal but do to stress and losing my job i put the weight back on, I am picking up and starting to take control and going back to working out and making better healthier eating choices.

6/29/18 - 208.5 - Making a fresh start for Onederland after Independence Day.
7/6/18 - 209.5 - A little temporary gain from the holiday carb fest. Here we go!
7/12/18 - 210.5 - Arrggghhhh! The bad news - the scale is going the wrong way. The good news - I'm getting my workouts in - lifting numbers are going up - I'm staying under my calorie target. Next week will be better.
7/26/18 - 209 - slowly moving in the right direction. Lifting numbers still going up. Getting most of the workouts in. Logging all the food - looks like I should lower the calorie target just a bit.
8/2/18 - 209 - turns out yesterday's whoosh was just a tease. DAMMIT! Oh, well - maintenance is good. Ate Tex-Mex in a restaurant last night. I probably should be pleased with a flat line. HAHA!
8/9/18 - 207.5 - Great - some progress, finally. And I saw 206 again earlier in the week. Onward and downward!8 -

For now I have my calorie goal set at 1200/day. Trying to stick with mostly whole foods and steering clear most of the time from breads, junk food, pasta and processed foods. I plan to stick with this even after I reach my goal- and I will reach it! I am determined . Good luck everyone!4 -

Ok I’d like to join in - need to be part of a bigger group effort for accountability. I lost weight last year, was close to my goal and then slowly regained after breaking my knee and generally getting laxed about nutrition. Most important habits to curb for success are daily exercise, good sleep, and no evening drinks which lead to evening snacking.

Heard that. It's not just the calories in the alcohol - it's that reduced inhibitions that go with it. I haven't stopped drinking, but I drink a lot less and try to plan it into the day.

I'm in a couple of other monthly challenges, but I keep telling my husband that Dec 31st is when I want to be at goal. So here I am! I want to start 2019 feeling healthy and happy at goal weight. I weigh on Fridays. I'm starting a new exercise plan this week that I hope to stick to long term. I'm excited about it.

You should be losing some weight at that level. Although weight loss is not linear and it may take another week or two for the body to adjust to that level.

I should reach my GW#1 by mid-November, and
I would like to maintain through the Holidays (Thanksgiving/Christmas/NYE).
GW#2 will be the next Challenge.
I am focusing on reducing body fat, shaping my booty, and achieving 8 pullups (current max is 7).
My workouts: weight-training, yoga, and volunteer farming.
Calories: ~1200-1500

I'm interested in this challenge. I don't think I'll be at goal by the end of the year but I will definitely be closer to it by (hopefully) 50 lbs.

I had been doing really well and by March 2018 of this year I was down to 239 ( 71lbs.)
Since then I have gone up and down 20-25 lbs -- every month. I've been trying to determine why I have been going up and down with the weight. It appears that I have not been honest with myself about what I'm ACTUALLY eating. So, I started diligently tracking macros and calories for the last two weeks and the weight is starting to track downward and not bounce around up and down all over the place!
I have exercised religiously since August of last year; spin class 5-6 per week; Pilates 5-6 times per week.
I think with total honesty to myself about what I'm eating, tracking the macros and continued exercise I should be able to become the healthy, energetic woman that I deserve to be.10
