    Female - Age 28
    Height 5'
    Weigh-In Day: Friday

    Original Starting Weight: 140 - February 2011
Current Starting weight: 147 lbs - November 2017
    Current weight: 146.2 - July 2018
    Goal weight: 130
    Ultimate Goal weight: 120

    July 3: 146.2 lbs
    July 27: 148.4 lbs
Aug 31: 146.6 lbs (1.8 lb loss from July)

I've been doing pretty bad as of late with making lunch but that's always been a work in progress in my life.

I hurt my shoulder last week so I'm try to stick to cardio. Again, I'll be happy to reach 130 lbs by April 2019. I'll keep updating this at the end of every month - it definitely helps with accountability.

    Keep going everyone! :)

I thought about joining this challenge when it started, but I was so close to my goal weight, I opted not to.

I got to my goal weight and then maintained my goal weight ~range~ for about two months. I joined a maintainer challenge. That felt pretty good.

Then I had a two week trend of fairly linear increase that put me out of my goal range, and I kicked back into loss mode. I am back in my goal range as of this morning, and I plan to stay there, but if y'all don't mind a maintainer checking in here, I think it's another way to make sure that I am still in my goal range through Decembral Solstice.

For grins, I'll fill in some weekly Friday weigh-in data from my log.
My goal range is 142 - 148, and my current weight is 148.4

    Here goes!

    About me
    Name: It's ME!
Age: About a year older than I was last year. You might say "middle aged."
    Height: Just under 5' 7".
    HEAVIEST weight: 175.4
Total Weight lost: 24 pounds since January 2018
    Maintenance weight range: 142 - 148

    6/29: 148.8
    7/6: Traveling (146.6 on 7/8)
    7/13: 144.8
    7/20: Traveling (147.4 on 7/22)
    7/27: 145.2
    8/3: 145.2
    8/10: Traveling (145.0 on 8/11)
    8/17: 148.6
    8/24: 148.6
    8/31: 147.2
    9/1: 148.4

    Hola,

    8/1/18: 118.2
    - went on beach vacation
    - celebrated DH and my birthdays

    9/1/18: 117.2
    - 1# loss.
    - I'll take it, especially since I thought I had gained from eating tons of donuts and yummy foods on vacation/bday celebrations. But I also did a lot of biking and walking on the beach, and didn't drink much alcohol.

Focusing to be at 113.5 by end of September.

    Amanda
    4'11"
    SW 119.4 - 7/15/2018
    lowest weight 113.2 - 10/2016
    GW#1 108.9
    GW#2 99

I should reach my GW#1 by mid-November, and
I would like to maintain through the Holidays (Thanksgiving/Christmas/NYE).

GW#2 will be the next Challenge.

I am focusing on reducing body fat, shaping my booty, and achieving 8 pullups (current max is 7).
My workouts: weight-training, yoga, and volunteer farming.
    Calories: ~1200-1500

    Appreciate all help.
    Thanks.

I had injured my right shoulder about 3 years ago doing OHP.
    I still baby them today.
    Take care of your shoulder.

You can still weight train, such as squats and lunges and hip thrust/glute bridges.
Your legs are your biggest muscles, so the more muscles you build there, the more calories you burn.
And the better your butt looks! :)

Glad you joined us. I aspire to be a maintainer at a lower weight someday. Right now I'm concentrating on lifting weight and just taking whatever losses I get. We can all learn from each other. :)

I wanted to start sooner but I had a heavy travel schedule in August. I knew that it would be too much trying to handle eating out everyday. Now I'm back and ready to do this!

@MadisonMolly2017 Congrats on getting into the 150's !!!

@allison8668 Thank you so much!! It’s bouncing up temporarily with extreme (for me back-to-back hard hikes & rare, salty restaurant food), but I look forward to us both celebrating when we’re in the 150’s for a week straight!! We’ve got this!!

    Did I read this correctly?
You want to lose over 15# in 1 month? (144.4-129).
I find that extremely aggressive for someone not morbidly obese.

    What's your daily calories?
Unless you're exercising like crazy and eating under 1000 calories, I don't know how you can lose that much in such a short time.

Sorry if I sound so negative, but I want people do lose weight the healthy way, and hopefully for long-term, not just crash-dieting.

Maybe I’m overreaching. I just put a goal of 5 lbs lost every 10 days. Maybe it will take me longer than a month.
I’m eating healthy and working out.

    144.8 lbs.

So I think I will try to lose 5 lbs in a month since my plan isn’t working.

Going to an oa meeting tonight. Hopefully that helps.

I think it depends how much weight you have to lose it could be realistic. I have approx 26 pounds to lose and have a target of a pound a week. I just started, so I expect to lose more than a pound per week for the first weeks, but then I know I'll slow down.
