If it didn't have calories, right now I would eat...

Pot Roast Nachos The MOST delicious nachos I have ever had in my life. Looking up the photo makes me want them for lunch but I do not have the calorie budget for them today. Even if I was starving I couldn't eat more than two chips. They are super filling.

Ditto. Maybe when the husband and kids are out of the house for a week this summer I'll treat myself and have one for lunch/dinner
I usually buy Ben & Jerry's when my husband is out of town, LOL!
Also a very good option! @quiksylver296 recommends The Tonight Dough highly. I owe it to her to give her a try!
She's right. It's a beautiful thing. I had one gifted to me. I will not buy another. It is that good.
This is fine, I'm just not purposefully bringing it into the house regularly.quiksylver296 wrote: »nutmegoreo wrote: »Crafty_camper123 wrote: »Crafty_camper123 wrote: »FireOpalCO wrote: »I saw these for the first time at the store.

It is that good. Plan to eat the entire pint.
But I want to try those Talenti, too!

My mom made these and put them in the freezer. They were AWESOME frozen.4 -

They are absolutely delicious! You can justify that you are getting delicious gelato and a free storage container!
The number of people I see reuse them to store craft supplies, wood working supplies, loose little items in the pantry, etc.

I keep them, too.
But don't put them in the dishwasher. They warp and the lids won't fit anymore.0 -
Craving hot dogs on the grill!
4-5 of them, extra black please.
And hamburgers on the grill, and these fries.
Craving a picnic on the grill right now LOL.7 -
Why did I open this thread?!? I know better than that! Now I want to eat a whole box Cocoa Pebbles. Or queso. There is a local restaurant that serves green chile queso with flour tostadas instead of chips. Mmmmmm!4

I would eat:
Cinnamon toast crunch (a large bowl probably equivalent of 2-3 servings lol)
Portugese egg tarts (several instead of a reasonable one lol)
Chicken korma with a giant buttery nan bread and rice
Gnocchi with a really rich creamy sauce covered in cheese with some bread
😲😲😲😲😲

With a huge bag of peanut butter M&Ms for dessert.

Jet's Pizza deep dish duo with onion (pepperoni shown). Basically cheese sticks on one side and pizza on the other.

My fav currently.. 🤤2 -
The fresh baked brownies our client brought us yesterday. They were so good I cut up half the pan to give to my dentist's office in the same building. I'm the only one who apparently eats brownies now in this place.2

They brought back the cotton candy blizzard for the summer. I'm trying really hard not to go there and eat it every day. It is a good thing my location doesn't have the blizzard cake version otherwise I would really be in trouble.1 -

See... I find nothing appealing about this at all. I would definitely not be eating this if I had the calories. To me this isnt a pizza. The one above is more like it for sure.
Is this like a New York vs. Chicago thing? Do I need to put on an accent?3 -

They really can't be compared. Sometimes you want fine dining. Sometimes you just want gooey, cheesy, carby goodness while you binge watch some Netflix guilty pleasure. (And remember, the calories don't count in this thread, so it's not a matter of being "worth it" )1 -

Round here, deep dish means more cheese, not more crust.0 -

I've seen deep dish pizza, not Chicago style with sauce on top, referred to as Detroit style. No idea if that's accurate or not though!0 -

More of both, with extra oil in the pan for good measure and a few more gratuitous calories0 -
I have zero issues spending $5-10 for what i really want once in awhile (a few times a year).Crafty_camper123 wrote: »Crafty_camper123 wrote: »FireOpalCO wrote: »I saw these for the first time at the store.

If not i may have it on my bday.2 -

I was making an analogy to compare the two, haha. As in, I want to argue something that's not important like how people argue whether Chicago or New York pizza is better. Perhaps I should have referenced something else like toilet paper over the roll or under the roll thing.
It's midwest pizza, lol.
Edit: I shouldn't use big words when I use the wrong ones lol.1 -

You are correct, Jet's originated in Sterling Heights!2 -

This is Chicago style, with the sauce on top. According to wikipedia, Detroit-style is the rectangular pizza.
Side note: I could really go for a Lou Malnati's pizza right now.

especially as I am a big time volume eater. I have a very very hard time even now wrapping my mind around being satisfied by small portions. a big part of me feels half a cup is not even worth eating.
we shall see, i may eat a cup and toss the rest. or i may just toss it. I actually have a birthday cake (sorta cake) I plan to make for my actual bday.1
