Did you get your candy?
I don't believe so, not until after the hospital anyway. I don't remember much other than the lady that hit me freaking out.0 -

I'm 63
Married
No children
3 dogs, no cats right now. The dog of my heart, our GSP, died as a result of stupidity by a kennel worker while he was being boarded in 2016.
I used to have 8 Siamese cats
I lived in Northern VA and worked at the Pentagon
I retired at 51; I was the Deputy Director of our agency
After I retired, I thew out the diplomas from all of my military schools, awards, and everything else related to my career, because once you are retired who really cares?
I am estranged from my father and one of my sisters and most of my husband's family.
I paint when inspiration hits me.
I live on a lake, near a very small town in the South - everything is very different from my life up until now.
I have major depressive disorder and fibromyalgia both of which are mostly under control.
I was emotionally (and sometimes physically) abused as a child.
I tend to be an optimist and am apt to be positive rather than negative. No matter what happens, I always think things will get better.6 -

I love buying gifts for others that are useful or meaningful. My grandma is a supporter of Heifer International, so I do that and donate money to her local library in her name rather that get her something that will clutter her house. Her gifts have been my favorite to give for several years.3

- I have the most amazing son
- I've battled eating disorders (esp. exercise bulimia) and emotional abuse most of my life
