First time joining. I would LOVE to lose 5 pounds this month, and every month till goal. I've been hovering between 176-179 for several months. I need to break through.

*Had Mexican food last night. Although I stayed in calories all week and even last night, the water retention from the high sodium Mexican food is real. I tend to retain water very badly. I feel next week I'll see a decent drop. I saw 175.0 two days ago so I know it's in my near future 😉

The No Late Night Snack Challenge is really helping me this time.
I used to blow all the good/hard work at night when I'd aimlessly eat hundreds of calories.
But my current streak of no LNS is 14 days, and counting.6 -

Thanks for the encouragement. September has been a rough month for me with a lot of extra travel and lots of back and forth. I tend to travel a lot more in the fall trying to get all my doctors, specialists appointments in, as well as early Christmas shopping since traveling can be brutal and dangerous in my rural area during the winter. With travel comes my biggest challenges- real restaurants and food choices in larger cities! But you are completely right. We will get there by putting forth our best efforts. The journey continues.....

Total loss for September: Um... Well... I gained just over a pound.
About me:
Yep. Backslider here. I attained my weight goal in early July at 144.2. I moved to maintenance and recomposition. After a couple months, I started a small multi-week weight increase. I'm just over my goal range again, but it's stopped increasing. Time to get back to loss mode until I'm in the bottom half of my goal range or I revise my goal range up, which might be a good idea.
I am still participating in monthly maintenance challenges, like this one, but for now I'll also be in weight loss mode.
