My goals are to stay under my calorie goal (1500 calories), 30 minute walk or exercise everyday, and drink 64 oz of water a day.
9/25- 199. Over calories. 60 minutes exercise. 64 oz water.
9/26- 200. Over calories. No exercise. 60 oz water.
9/27- 201. Yikes! Need to get back on track ASAP. Over calories. No exercise. 32 oz water.
9/28- 199. That's better. Over by 85 calories. A little improvement. 40 minutes of stationary bike. 24 oz water. I left home without my water cup and I haven't been eating as much in the beginning of the day and overeating at dinner. Need to be more aware and adjust my meal planning.
9/29- 199. Over calories. 30 min walk. 74 oz water.

9/25 99.2 I've been away for a few rounds while I finished my thesis. Thesis has been submitted and I've got a lot of “”stress weight” to shed all over again.... Went all the way back to my original starting weight…

9/25 -276 lbs (No Change) These night time munchies are killing me. I do well all day then kill it after dinner. Its a real tough time. I have to get out of this mindset. Will work on other options to keep my munch monster at bay.
9/26 – (No Scale) Out of town for a few days. Staying on track yesterday and so far today all is well. Business trips make it difficult sometimes to stay with a routine. Determined to stay with this.
9/27 )(No Scale) Still holding to the program. Subway salads have become a staple for dinner lately. Easy to find one anywhere out of town. Switched from munching on peanuts when hungry to grapes. Don't know how that's going to work out. Guess I'll see in a few days.
9/28 (No Scale) Repeat of yesterday. Finally got home this morning but too late to weigh in so tomorrow morning I will see if any drop has occurred. Sure hope so because its getting difficult to keep this up. It should not be this way. Not being very active I am sure does not help anything. Ok no more negativity! I can see a difference in waist size by taking in a notch on the belt. Thats a good thing.
9/29 – 272 (-4 lbs) Well thats some improvement. Went out of town for three days and managed to lose weight. I usually either gain or maintain anytime I am away from home and outside my normal routine. Subway salads are my out of town dinners these days.
9/30 -271 (-1 lb) Yeah! I just may make it to my goal for this challenge. Sure will be nice to get out of this decade. It's been a while. Hanging on!!

Hi you all! I finished the previous challenge which I couldn't lose weight but weigh myself every day and try to control myself. That was something to start. In this challenge, my aim is to REALLY control myself. My goals are:
*Not to eat junk food
*Drink alcohol max 3 glasses in 10 days (if possible no drink because of reflux)
*Go to the gym 6 times in 10 days
*Drink enough water
*Don't drink coffee for a while (because of reflux)

I forgot to weigh myself today, because of being late to the work... But yesterday I drank a little alcohol and ate too many carbs (pasta...), not a good day.

Failed too soon. I ate Nutella with a spoon and it wasn't enough I ate a whole chocolate bar. Don't know why I'm doing this... And I'm very busy and tired these days with work, for this reason, I cannot go to the gym. If I've been motivated enough I believe I could go, but I'm not yet... I hope today I won't disappoint myself.

Yes, this is the right way. I'm really happy I'm kinda getting better. Yesterday night even I was tired I went to the gym. I didn't eat junk food or drink alcohol. However, I always eat carbs. I'm a vegetarian and so it's kinda hard to decrease carbs, but I don't have to eat bread all day...

9/25 177.6 I'm going to the dentist today. 😬 I'm hoping to still get 10,000 steps today!
9/26 176.4 My trip to the dentist was a little easier than I expected! And not only did I get 10,000 steps yesterday but I surpassed it! I ended the day at 11,289 which is great for a day off. I have to be really intentional about it on days off. I'm happy with it.
9/27 177.2 Water weight? I was under on calories yesterday.
9/28 177.6 Alright now...😒 I can tell that TOM is coming because I'm craving chocolate and sweets like crazy! I was able to have some chocolate yesterday and still be under calories. My son joined me in my evening walk last night which was nice!
9/29 177.6 I’m slightly annoyed by this number but I’m trying not to be. I know that I’m about to start TOM. It’s just frustrating when you’re consistently under calories and exercising. Hopefully in another couple of days it’ll start going back down again.
9/30 176.8 Well that surprised me a little! I went to a wedding after work last night and I guesstimated on calories of the food that I ate. I even had a cupcake! Being gluten intolerant, I mostly assume that there’s not going to be anything gluten free at events. But these guys had a gluten free table set up, and even had some gluten free vegan cupcakes! It’s not often I get to have something like that, so I went for it and had one!
I did not like my reaction to yesterday’s weigh in. You see, I’m not used to daily weigh ins, this is my first time doing this challenge. I had to take a step back and remind myself to look at the big picture and to not get upset over just a few days. This is a life long journey! Keep up the work and change will happen!

Blow me over with a feather! I weighed myself 4 times with a scale reset to be sure this was right. Came out the same every time! I am trying to add some calories, but I'm also back to walking more. Anyway, I'm thinking my dream goal of 130 isn't impossible after all. I wish I knew which food I've eliminated has helped revive my downward trajectory. It can't all be water (although I feel much less puffy and didn't even know I was puffy). Keep at it, all - absolutely worth the effort!

9/29: 192.6 - Pleasantly surprised but I’m thinking my weight change is a day or two behind my actions - be it exercise & eating right or just the opposite. I’ll enjoy my numbers today as tomorrow it will be a completely different story. I can’t remember what someone wrote in an earlier post but I liked it - something about the scale is just a number not my life. I’ll have to go back & find the correct quote. I’m going to start focusing on how I FEEL each day & not let the scale dictate that anymore.
9/30: 193.2 - It is what it is but it’s actually better than I thought. I should change my goal for this round to get back to my STARTING WEIGHT!! First round for me & I’m shaking it down. Quite the reality check weighing in everyday. I feel good things are going to happen in October!!

9/25 156 I did great on all my macros until the late night craving hit me. I was a couple hundred calories under after dinner so it just ended up balancing out after I ate what I was craving. Just wish it didn't hit me so late. On a brighter note, loved the fall like weather yesterday morning! It was beautiful out. Can't wait until it stays like that for a while, and the trees start turning. The park I go to to walk is so beautiful, especially when the leaves start turning 😊.
9/26 155 yayy I am so excited. 10 pounds away from a normal BMI. I am beyond proud of myself. Yesterday was also a light day so I know that's contributed to part of this loss but I'm still taking credit for all the hard work.
9/27 155 soo happy that the scales were correct yesterday. I was speaking to someone yesterday who was complimenting me and asking how much weight I had lost, and my Husband overheard me tell them I still wanted to lose more. He doesn't want me to lose any more lol but I told him that I loved him, but I am doing this for me and I want to be happy with my body, and healthy.
That is really what matters in this whole thing, do this for "you". Being an inspiration to my family is a plus also, because I want them healthy as well.
9/28 155 Ate junk half the day yesterday so my macros were high. Stayed under my goal but I did use some exercise calories. I decided I'm going to walk at least 2 miles/day a few times a week, on top of my daily exercises. Would like to work my way up to jogging/running but it's hard to do right now because I always have my 5 month old with me. Maybe Santa will bring me an Elliptical for Christmas this year 😊.
9/29 155 was well under my calorie goal yesterday but I feel like my body has been retaining water. I have been drinking lots of water, at least trying to. Higher on the sodium end though the past 2 days, and I've had hot sauce the past 2 days at dinner. I sure hope I don't have to give up my love for hot sauce
. Will be drinking cucumber water today, hopefully that'll help.
9/30 154 Excellent way to end September, with another pound lost 😊 and my round goal met. Great day yesterday. Got 2 miles of walking in and did zumba. Had around a gallon of water, most of it being cucumber water. I could tell it really made a difference as I was relieving water all day yesterday. I made a fresh pineapple strawberry smoothie for dinner. I need to do that more often, I think light dinners really help. It's also easier to do when Hubby isn't around, he has been on graveyard shift all weekend.

9/25 DNW Holy Moley, I had to leave super early for a work issue and didn't weigh, definitely subconsciously skipped the weigh in on purpose since I ate over 2000 calories yesterday, full disclosure. We will see what tomorrow looks like!
9/26 150.8 Second day of eating whatever, it was my daughter's birthday and I made quite the spread. Broke my no second's rule, indulged in warm fresh birthday donuts for dessert...plan for today through end of round is low carb. We are celebrating again on Friday with 40+ people and she requested a Southern menu, any recipes out there for brisket? I have never made it.

9/28 149.4 Still feeling the bloat and general discomfort of the 2 days of eating without tracking, but yesterday was good. Tonight 40+ people at my house for my daughter's birthday, Brisket, Ribs, Mac and Cheese, Green Beans, Cornbread, Salad, and her favorite Napoleon for dessert on the menu per her request. Not my normal cooking style, but it's looking tasty. Salad for me, I plan on front loading my lean protein before the function so I can just cook/mingle/hold babies and not eat! Countdown 1 week to Maui!

9/30 151 Going backwards this round, I have lost focus. NSV's though I have been walking our hill 7 days a week (this is a 3 mile loop, about 40 stories according to my fitbit) It is easy for me now 2 months in, and finally getting easier for my hunny who started a month ago. Hoping to add a second loop when we get back from Maui. Back on track today (Sunday), putting the past behind me and moving forward. Too many goodies in the house and I did not resist. I threw it all away and the house is safe again. Whew.

I am a 50 year old 5'4" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. On the other hand when I look at the big picture and the averages it has been a consistent loss except for two rounds. Round 53 was my 50 birthday celebrations that upped my weight for a few days.
I need to step up my game if I want to meet any of my goals.

9/25 178.6 I can tell from the way my rings are biting into my fingers that there is some water retention going on here. (ETA) Began the day with C25K second workout. t was a little harder than the first one- i had to take a longer walk break in the middle but I got it done!
9/26 179.2 up but not a problem Annual trip to the ball game with DS1 last night. Skipped the beer (not hard) skipped the sweet potato fries (heroic effort). Had a smoked sausage on a bun - so lots of sodium.
9/27 179.2 today is the last day of special events and projects that have been going on all of September. Things should be calmer and more focused for the next few weeks - tempting fate to say that I know, but fingers crossed.
9/28 179 overslept - so did not begin with a "run" will try to catch up later in the day.
9/29 179.8 But "always look on the bright side of life" I began today with a workout and set a new PR for plank - 4 minutes!
9/30 179.8 First day in a long time where I was not having to fight the stress eating. What a relief Beginning today with my overdue C25K "run" - not sure when I will fell it is legit to call it a run - maybe when the running is more than half the time?

My initial loss has me motivated.. I feel like I can’t put a goal this round yet because goals actually de-motivate me lol I’m still over 30lbs of my pre-baby weight. I just need to do what’s best when it comes to eating and trust the system and results. It worked for me last summer!
9/25- 197.5 - good starting point though many temptations today since I’m stuck inside in this terrible weather with two cranky children and mama is also cranky as a result lol

9/27 - 196.5 - nice! I’m trying to go less off of tracking and more trusting my body when it’s actually hungry (running around with the babies is a big help because I don’t have time to eat until I make time.. so really only happens when I’m actually hungry). Also went on a nice walk with baby carrier (added weight!)
9/28 - 197 - expected that or more. Did great all day and then hubby came home with cupcakes and brownies from a bake sale... I had a very sweet very late night snack 🤦🏻♀️
9/29 - 198 - well, crap. Getting bad financial news makes me want to eat, shop or drink. I chose to eat... a lot 😔 gotta be above this stuff and stick with the plan to keep losing
9/30 - 198 hopefully just residual from my binge.... i was good yesterday and today so far!

9/26 176.2 (when I woke up), 176.6 (after my walk?) I’m in my first week honeymoon period.
9/27 175.6 I’ll enjoy the rapid decline while it lasts. I know that will soon change.
9/28 174.4 (when I woke up), 174.2 (after my walk) I spent too much time looking at low carb recipes and missed lunch, but it was worth it. I think I’m going to like the new recipes. Now, I don’t want to spoil my appetite for fish tacos this evening.
9/29 173.2 (when I woke up), 172.8 (after my walk). I’ll work harder today to eat all my calories. A church is feeding our singing group this evening, so that will probably help. I’ve decided follow keto guidelines, so I have to balance carbs and fiber, which is harder than I expected. I’m getting full on fats and proteins, but still falling short on calories and fiber, because I don’t want to exceed my carb limit. I’m determined to learn.
9/30 172.8 I may have had a few extra carbs last night, but I did well with my choices. It was probably the first church dinner when I didn’t had extra salad for desert. Today is a church lunch at my church. I made a low carb Twice Baked Cauliflower Casserole. I think it will be good. Singing at another church this evening, so no time for a walk today.

9/25--217.1 I First time in over a week I've gotten back to my normal water drinking levels.
9/26--216.4 Back to my pre-trip weight and trend weight. Tonight is yoga, I haven't gone in 2 weeks, I so need it. I've been thinking about getting back into weightlifting, since I have stopped going to my kettlebell club. I recently moved and the club changed it's class schedule, so it's just not convenient anymore. I'm going to get a 3 day pass from a nearby gym and try it out and see if I like it, if not there are a couple of other gyms that I can try out. I'm not a big gym person, but I do want to lift weights again and this gym also has an indoor pool which is nice too.
9/27--216.0 Did some snacking last night even though I wasn't hungry. It was definitely stress related. I knew what I was doing while I was snacking, but it was almost as if I couldn't stop myself. It was weird...almost like an out of body experience. Luckily I had eaten pretty well during the day such that the extra snacking only put me over my daily calories by less than 500. Positives for yesterday was that at least I recognized what I was doing and I curtailed the amount of damage done. Today is a new day.
9/28--216.2 Still with a downward trend. Going to try out the gym today with the free pass.
9/29--216.0 Didn't go to the gym yesterday. When I got home from work I found the pallet containing my bathroom tiles delivered near my condo door. My husband hadn't come home from work yet so I spent about 30-45 mins moving the heavy tiles into the condo. I lost any small motivation I had at the time to go to the gym. Today I am taking my dog on a hike with my hiking group and then we are going out to lunch...you have to take advantage of any nice days you can get at this time of the year. I may be running around and doing some errands later depending on how I feel after the hike.
9/30--216.4 Lunch yesterday and I drank very little water on yesterday's hike. When I hike I forget to drink water, I'm so focussed on the hike I find that unless it's really hot out I don't drink as much water when I hike. Going out today to look for some paint for the bathroom and then doing some chores around the house, it's supposed to be rainy today. Trending weight is still going downward!

@FarmerCarla I’ve been doing Keto for over a year and have never worried about fiber. The vegetables I eat (cruciferous) and fats I ingest seem to do the trick. If they aren’t enough, like when we travel, I use a stool softener. Sorry if that is TMI.
@SarahHW18 Increase your fat a bit? That is what satisfies. I started with 75% fat and 20% protein, carbs 5% or less.

9/29 132.5 We met friends from out of town for dinner last night. It was several hours later than we usually eat. I had a salad and steak, both of which were very good. But eating late is not a good thing. I’m up 2# but know that it will pass in the next couple of days.

09/25: 249.4 - I'm not sleeping well lately. I think it's nerves from looking for a job after being a stay at home mom for so long. I woke up groggy and sore today. I have an interview tomorrow with a staffing agency and I hope it goes well. Also, I had a chicken fajita salad last night and it was delicious. I'm going to have that more often.
09/26: 249.8 - Strength training water retention. Not worried about the slight gain at all. I had an interview this morning and they want a second interview this afternoon. I hope this is a good sign! Hopefully I will be returning to the workforce by Monday! Thanks you guys for wishing me luck!
09/27: 250.6 - Wretched scale! Lol I ate really late last night and unexpected guests nicely brought subs for everyone. I was good though and only had a 6 inch. Unfortunately, it was smothered in mayo. I tried static stretching yesterday and it felt great but I'm a little sore today. I think I'm going to go light on food today and drink lots of water. I have my final weigh-in for the September Fat2Fit challenge and hopefully the scale drops a bit before then.
09/28: 250 - I think I'm getting sick, and TOM coming up.
09/29: 250.2 - I seriously hate water retention lol. I made some amazingly delicious turkey legs last night and ate them with stuffing and corn. It was fantastic but full of sodium. 9/30 - 173.8 Sometimes I just feel so much stronger and much more capable than other times. Most of the rounds in September have been tough for me. I have been working hard to redeem myself and get on track round 53 & 54. There is so much travel going on for me in October that I worry. One day at a time will be key…..

9/25 -- 177 --Pretty good day yesterday. Met calorie and exercise goals, but succumbed to the peach coffee cake my husband made over the weekend and ate a whole piece instead of just a bite.
9/26 -- 177 --Again ok on the exercise and calorie front. But the carbs lost to a really nice milk stout....
9/27 -- 177.5 -- And again. Hit the exercise, missed by a little on the calories. Big fancy meal out with my husband and had a small dessert. Over on carbs again. But the next 7 days I should be out of excuses...and my fitbit is up and running again
9/28 -- 176.5 -- YAY! Walk, water aerobics and zumba yesterday. Ate back some exercise calories and only a little high on net carbs.
9/29 -- 175.5 -- Drank a ton of water yesterday and ate well. Also took a walk and did a killer water aerobics workout. Hoping this number sticks!
9/30 -- 176.5 -- Sigh. Got up and went to zumba yesterday and had a bonus 80 minutes (instead of 60). Happy hour at a neighbors for dinner. Stuck to low carb stuff and 1.5 glasses of red wine. Ate back some but not all of exercise calories. Not surprised that I'm up a little. I feel a bit bloated. We will see what happens tomorrow.
