doesn't take care of laundry or otherwise lives out of a clothes basket

Oh man. My ex used to pull clothes out of the dryer and just put the basket in the bedroom and leave it there/dress out of it. If I would try to put it away he’d get mad and say “I got it, geeze”. The Virgo in me had a very hard time with this.

no no no...wrinkley assed clothes from a basket?!? Nope, no, no
I guess at least he did his own wrinkly *kitten* laundry?!? If that is some consolation

What I never understood is he would then iron his super wrinkly clothing. Or the few times I would try to help and iron them while he was getting for work he’d snap and get mad that there were still creases.

“Well maybe if you put them away we wouldn’t have this issue now would we?”

    Right!!

And you are a better girlfriend than me 'cause no way in hell I'd iron for anyone (myself included). If it doesn't look smooth after prompt removal from the dryer and being hung up 'till cooled, except for those few things that need dry-cleaning, it's not practical for me

I have come to the realization (thanks to the NOT deal-breaker thread) that I am actually very picky. No wonder I am single. I compromised my standards before and nearly paid with my life. Never again. Even if it means I never find anyone

    Ewww .... That is nasty.

theyre CLEAN i just haven’t folded them yet smh

    But, but...wrinkles...

do you 'iron' stuff by putting it in the dryer? I do.

Seriously tho, I love doing laundry...it's one of my "control" things. I've been known to strip at the washer to have every single thing I own clean
...(someone has waaaay to much spare time)

I swear we share a brain

Edit: somehow i always find a miscellaneous sock somewhere after ive done every last bit of laundry and put it away. Won’t lie, I usually just throw them away at that point

I have an exact amount of hangers for the clothes I own. There is not a stockpile of extra hangers pushed to one side of my closet. If I want to buy something new, something else must be donated.
