Good Lord, that's the TRUTH!
In my neighborhood there's a Panera, and a bunch of really good (WAY cheaper) small local places that sell sandwiches and salads, similar fare. Panera is constantly busy and the others aren't hurting for business or anything but I'm just like, huh...?1 -
Food is fuel. Sure it can also be your friend, your escape, your entertainment, your social and cultural connection, etc., but the more you are able to view it as fuel the less power it has over you and the more likely you are to make good decisions and control your weight.

Was very picky growing up, slightly less picky now but I do not eat condiments: ketcup, mustard, relish, mayo,, gross. Cant stand the smell even.0

sounds good too, but we didn't know what black beans were back in the 70s haha1 -
Coleslaw is good and if you disagree you're eating the wrong kind5

Ketchup and grilled cheese is a must
Half & half and grape nuts cereal is great

Any food with gelatin is disgusting! Jello, marshmallows, candies, all gelatin is melted down pig lard. I hate meat! Anything we have to give a name to invisiblize the food to hypnotize us to eat I don't want,I have earned my competence. Hamburger =Hand-burgers,taco =Talk os. Ham= Hand. The government keeps us in control by how they hypnotize us by the names of our foods. 😂 😢

Technically, gelatin is melted down pig's (or cow's) hooves, bones, and cartilage. Mmmm, gelatin! And hamburgers! And tacos! WOO!

I think it is mellow mushroom that has a pizza with potatoes on it. It is quite horrible. You can't rule out carbs on a pizza because the tomato sauce has carbs. Pineapple though should not be on a savory pizza either.0 -

Hamburger=from Hamburg. Nothing to do with hands. (See also weiner and weiner schnitzel, Wien=Vienna.)
From wiki: "There have been many claims about the origin of the hamburger, but it remains unclear. The popular book "The Art of Cookery made Plain and Easy" by Hannah Glasse included a recipe in 1758 as "Hamburgh sausage", which suggested to serve it "roasted with toasted bread under it". A similar snack was also popular in Hamburg by the name "Rundstück warm" ("bread roll warm") in 1869 or earlier, and supposedly eaten by many emigrants on their way to America, but may have contained roasted beefsteak rather than Frikadeller. Hamburg steak is reported to have been served between two pieces of bread on the Hamburg America Line, which began operations in 1847. Each of these may mark the invention of the Hamburger, and explain the name.
There is a reference to a "Hamburg steak" as early as 1884 in the Boston Journal. On July 5, 1896, the Chicago Daily Tribune made a highly specific claim regarding a "hamburger sandwich" in an article about a "Sandwich Car": 'A distinguished favorite, only five cents, is Hamburger steak sandwich, the meat for which is kept ready in small patties and 'cooked while you wait' on the gasoline range.'"
Taco is from Mexico, so is less obvious, at least to me (and also can be meatless, obv!), but don't have a clue what you think "talk os" is. Here's wiki: "According to one etymological theory, the culinary meaning of "taco" derives from its "plug" meaning as employed among Mexican silver miners, who used explosive charges in plug form consisting of a paper wrapper and gunpowder filling.
Indigenous origins for the culinary word "taco" are also proposed. One possibility is that the word derives from the Nahuatl word "tlahco", meaning "half" or "in the middle,"[3] in the sense that food would be placed in the middle of a tortilla.[4] Furthermore, dishes analogous to the taco were known to have existed in Pre-Columbian society—for example, the Nahuatl word "tlaxcalli" (a type of corn tortilla)."
Ham is pretty obvious--the back of the thigh or hock of an animal, based on the old English "ham." (Hams has been used as slang for legs as late as the early 20th c.) The French jambon is similar and comes from the word for leg.
Most English words are different for foods vs. the animal due to the influence of Norman French, however, not government hypnotism. For example, boeuf=beef, mouton=mutton, poulet=poultry, but of course many other food words ARE just the animal (fish, chicken, lamb). Venison is from the Latin word for hunt (there are legal reasons why that ended up getting used having to do with the nobility trying to prevent people from hunting on certain lands, not gov't propaganda to hide that it was deer, something that would have made no sense in context.) Pork is derived from the Latin word for domestic pig and was used both in Middle French and Middle English.
But sure, it's all made up to hide that they are animals.10 -

Agreed, the tomato sauce and any veggies would be a "carb" topping. I have seen pies that have pasta as a topping - either a baked ziti pie or a buffalo mac & cheese pie, and I'd agree that's ridiculous. I've never seen potato on pizza but that would also be bizarre. So I'd agree that fruit or starchy carbs on a pizza is wrong.4 -

A local chain has a rosemary chicken pizza with grilled chicken, rosemary potatoes, roasted garlic, fresh herbs, and mozzarella cheese over white wine lemon sauce (instead of the tomato). I haven't tried it, but I would, I suppose (it's not my favorite place so I don't have their pizza much).
I don't see carbs other than tomato sauce, vegetables, and occasional fruit (yes, I think pineapple is acceptable) very often. It does seem like a weird concept to add a starchy carb on top of crust.1 -

I do want to add that as I pondered this I thought of a knish, which is at it's most basic mashed potatoes inside a dough crust. And they are delightful. So this may be more of a "that isn't really pizza" as opposed to "that is unacceptable". I'm not sure.2 -
I hate coffee. Can't stand the smell of it, or the taste of it. My DIL gets so upset with me because she makes a "prize winning" devil's food cake (and I'm a chocoholic!) and I simply can't eat it because she puts 1/2 C of black coffee in her batter. And yes, I can taste it over all the chocolate!
And mashed 'taters with bacon and cheese on a pizza crust? Sounds VERY interesting, I'd definitely try it!

Afterthought: Pickle pizzas seem to be a thing around here, lately. I dunno if that's Michigan/Midwest, or just a growing thing. Usually dill pickles, alfredo sauce, dill weed, maybe extra garlic, and optionally chicken.
Defo oddball: Local food-truck pizza guy used to camp out at a brewpub I go to, and I'd buy his pizzas occasionally. One night after dark, I was walking back to my car when he called out "Hey, Ann - wanna try something?". After verifying that it was vegetarian, I said yes, without knowing what it was (remember, it was dark: he was holding out a small slice to me, but I couldn't see it).
Peanut butter and jelly pizza. So, so, transporting good! Melty peanut butter, melty jelly, nice chewy fast-bake handmade brick-oven-fired crust. Not on the menu: He was just playing.
You anti-peanut-butter folks wouldn't like it, nor pizza purists. More for me!

As a pizza purist I would say that sounds yummy (especially after some time in a pub), but it's not pizza. Just because something is put on a disc of dough doesn't make it pizza dagnabbit0 -
