    Well, we are all different. I think that I may retain fluid as well. I had a couple of very good days exercise and calorie wise and actually gained. Today I was down 2 pounds from yesterday. I realize that I didn't have any carbs for 2 days (not on purpose) and gained weight. Yesterday I did have carbs and the scale was down 2 lbs this morning. Maybe the fibre soaks up the water retention : - ) Who knows. I guess for me that I need to make sure to have some carbs everyday. And for you Tia you have to avoid them. Whatever works for our individual bodies right? I guess that I will have a piece of toast with my coffee this morning : - )

    @dawnbgethealthy, You are absolutely right everyone is different. i'm allergic to whole wheat and found out 4 years ago that I cannot eat grains. I still ate those foods but limited

    December 1 - 193 - up one pound from yesterday
    December 2 -193 - glad that I didn't gain, I was pretty over-indulgent over the weekend.
    December 3 -194 - kind of discouraged with the fluctuation. I had a good day, expected a loss.

    Fluctuation always happens because of muscle building. Stay on track and you will notice a change.
