Haven't been great at tracking this week, I've been hungry, I need to re-focus. My doctor has been a great partner in my journey, and due to some unforseen circumstances I'm going to change my goal to maintain my weight at 186lbs this month.

December 1 - 193 - up one pound from yesterday : - (
December 2 -193 - glad that I didn't gain, I was pretty over-indulgent over the weekend.
December 3 -194 - kind of discouraged with the fluctuation. I had a good day, expected a loss.
December 4 -194 - I really expected to be less this morning. On track to lose.
December 5 -192 - back to where I was at the end of last month's challenge.
December 6 -191 - Wow! Lots of days left to get down to that next decade. Seeing the scale move is motivating!
December 7 -191 - Getting excited to get out of the 90s, hopefully by next week

Let's navigate this weekend successfully!4
-
@tiabirdie56 - Yes, let's do that!
What challenges are you guys facing this weekend? And what's your plan?
My challenges: I have a camping expedition tomorrow that is the big challenge.
How I plan to cope: I will be doing advance planning and meal prep *today* to make sure I have food options that work (good choices, measured portions). I'll pack all that in a small cooler. I have a few easily portable protein bars (only 1g sugar per 150 cals) as a backup, but I plan to have actual food with me for the campout.3 -
@AustinRuadhain
The weekends are so hard for me. My biggest obstacle is that my kids and husband are always so busy. We end up doing a lot of snacking or grabbing food to get by on Saturday. Then on Sunday we always do a big breakfast because everybody is home. My husband and I usually watch football all day and we can't watch a game without having a couple of beers.
I have decided to let myself have Sundays and enjoy my time with the family, but Saturday I try really hard to stay on track. If that means getting a salad instead of a burger then that's what I do. I also try really hard not to have any alcohol on Saturday. Sometimes I don't accomplish this goal.3 -
@AustinRuadhain, I will say, in general I don't have a problem on weekends, but for the last month, I have been visiting my son and his family on Sundays. All they do is snack all day, the children too. I can't stand to watch it! I cook food and take it with me so we have something to eat if I have the time. If not, I end up eating a lot of carbs and fast food. They do not cook on Sundays. The price I pay to visit with my grand children. Smh. Maybe I just need to cook at his house on Sundays.5

Ooops. I have missed the month of October and November, things have been hectic at work. Thankfully, I maintained my weight during these two months.
And I am super glad that my fiance and I have joined a gym. I know that this is just the start but we have committed to going 3x a week. So far, so good and we are on Week 3 of a lifetime.
Lastly, we are doing are best with eating a little less of everything. It's hard but I'm blessed to have the support of my amazing fiance.
