Okay, I'm ready to do this!
38F/SW: 150/FGW: 120
I want this round to be the start of building consistency and habit in eating mindfully. Maybe throw in a little exercise. And if I can lose 1-2 pounds, that would be even better.
12/14 -147.5; I shouldn't be surprised by this because yesterday was full of salt and carbs. There's a part of me that keeps hoping that those delicious things won't have an impact, but they do. Today will be better.

12/14 - Friday - 174.4 - Salty dinner last night. TOM approaching and I'm ravenous. Just went out and got a sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin against my better judgement - I was already planning on eating a frozen pizza for dinner so it puts me at maintenance. Maybe I'll have half the pizza and a salad instead of the whole thing tonight. But again, so starving today so we will see. I dont know if its the undereating catching up to me or TOM but either way - reminding myself that its ok to follow my hunger cues and its not always going to be perfect choices. Remember what over restricting brings? Yeah...binging, well this wasnt a binge just a genuine starving moment and I knew the tiny leftovers lunch I packed was not going to cut it. But I will drink lots of water today so I'm not totally sodium bloated for dress try ons tomorrow. Aiming to maintain last rounds loss since it was a big one and TOM usually spikes the weight.

Day/Weight/Comment
12/14 - 182.4- As expected, dropped a bunch of the water weight from the high sodium day at the end of Round 61. Had a really good day. Got 2 workouts in yesterday (lifting workout with deadlifts, lat pull downs, overhead press, bicep curls and pec flys, then backed that up with 3 miles on the treadmill), as well as hitting my macros and calories. Drank about 140 oz. of water. Squat day today.

This is my ninth round. I am thinking this is the perfect way to move through December, with mini-goals, support and comraderie. I would love to be at 155 by Christmas but will be happy just being solidly in the 150s! Let's make this a month of mindful celebrations taking time to appreciate our loved ones, our health, and our progress on this journey!

For anyone that's discouraged about their weight loss not being linear, here's mine so far.
For anyone that feels like quitting because it looks like others are doing better than you, please know that EVERYONE struggles!!! Don't quit! Keep at it! Don't be embarrassed by gains or bad days of eating. We've ALL been there! You're not alone.
This used to bug the hell out of me but no more, especially thanks to daily weighing and being honest with my food diary. Through doing those two things, it's shown me that bad days aren't the end of the world and ups & downs are all part of the process. As long as the trend is down, I'm happy.
I've made my food diary public in case anyone wants to snoop. Some days are downright scary! lol
I also want to chime in and say that this group has really helped me in staying accountable and I really appreciate all the likes and hugs! It's very comforting to see others having the same struggles and successes and I don't feel so alone.

OSW: 212

Day/Weight/Comment
12/14: 198. I didn't actually weigh in today since I am traveling for work, but I weighed in yesterday knowing I wouldn't get to weigh in today, and I'm counting that. I'm disappointed, I've gained 9 lbs since July, after losing 15 lbs the few months before that. It's been a bit of a roller coaster and my motivation has been in short supply. But, passing 200 again is kind of a dire situation, so I'm motivated to try to bring my weight back down again.

23nd Round for me: Female 65, height – 5’
Here we are again. Looked over all my rounds and realized that I’ve only lost around 3 lb. total. 😖 I’d lost about 4 lb. on MFP before joining this challenge. New maxim: each round counts.Round 39 (1st for me) – SW 163, loss -.2Round 62 – 160.2 Goal this round: under 159, I think this is doable and I need to challenge myself more.

I’m going to apply to go on a short course in April. That is 12-15 weeks away (about 10 rounds). So my more immediate goal is to lose 1 lb/round. The course is something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time – I don’t have to lose weight for it but it would be sweet if I did.
Ultimate Goal Weight – 128; Hoping to be under 140 by end of June.
Day/Weight/Comment
12/14 – 161.2 – Not sure why I’m up as yesterday was quite good. If I hang in there I think it won’t last. I haven’t gotten to the gym this week though because of this cold, so maybe it’s that and drinking a lot (to keep the coughing under control)

For others who may have found their MFP feed and especially @abowersgirl I don't think you broke MFP by linking your fitbit up to your account. My feed has not been updating for two days now, and I know that many of my MFP friends' feeds have not updated either. As one friend said....it's like a ghost town and the only way to find people is to knock on their door. You can still communicate by going to someone's personal feed, by clicking on their name. Of course, they can only see your comment if they click on their own name to go to their own personal feed! Glad this forum still works! Otherwise I don't know how I'd combat MFP withdrawal!6

ROUND 62 (Round 9 for me)
5’5” 66 y/o Texas Lady
SW 178 lb.
GW 135-140 lb.
Started Keto WOE on September 24th (2018). Still experiencing decreased arthritis hip and shoulder pain since the second week of Keto. Staying within calorie limits is easy enough, but not exceeding my carb limit is difficult. Per my KetoMojo meter, I’m in ketosis most of the time. Some of my NSVs: my wedding band fits, I wear smaller clothing, and my progress has encouraged my husband to try harder to end his cigarette habit.
Rounds 54 – 61 resulted in a cumulative loss of 24 lb.
Day/Weight/Comment
12/14 151.6 Starting with a loss—I like that. Until now, I haven’t established a round goal, but, this time, my goal is to get below 150 and never exceed that number again. I changed my final goal weight to a range. In that range, I'll be able to wear my size 6 slacks/jeans again, without looking too skinny. In my younger days, prior to the early 1990's and rampant vanity sizing, a regular size 10 was equivalent to today's size 6. I read that Marilyn Monroe was a size 14, which would probably make her about a size 10 in today's sizing. Of course, I've noticed, in general, that the more expensive the clothing, the more generous the sizing. (My only expensive clothing is used. ) Whatever, my goal is getting closer, and I'm excited!

12/13: 238.5 Starting weight. Today was my rest day from the gym and dealt with a migraine for a nice chunk of the day, so didn't eat much until this evening(3 slices of cheese pizza and 4 small oatmeal chocolate chip cookies that I made for my boyfriend... he won't miss them!) I still was under my goal, but I am expecting a higher weigh in tomorrow morning. Did not drink as much water as I had wanted to.
12/14: 238.5 again today. Realised that I put 239 for some reason yesterday(actually logged same as yesterday). I made it to the gym this morning and put 30mins on the arc trainer, and 26 on the elliptical. I took my mom for surgery this morning, and had to call out of work because it took so long. I ended up only having a banana during this time, and we bought subway after she got out. I DEFINITELY ate more than I planned to, but am going to try to remain good for the rest of the afternoon. I am traveling up to my boyfriend's house tonight, and do not know if he has a scale, so I may just have to weigh in Monday if that is the case. Will focus on water, logging(when possible) and will try for a workout this weekend at some point.

After several days of travel I have caught up on 17 days of posts!
@dowhatrightis We are always here whenever you need us. I too had a horrible time with my father growing up. Alcoholism played a big part in it. When he died I had very mixed feelings. On one hand, I had a "natural" instinct to be sad. I remembered some of the very small and very infrequent good things he did. Not always for his own family-sometimes for others. But mostly, I was very angry about what my mother, my siblings and myself had been through. As one of the older children, some of my bros & sis's just don't remember it all. The abuse, the lying, the cheating, the drinking, the MIA stunts he would pull. While he was sick in the hospital, I chose to go to the hospital several times (in another state) not so much for him, but to support my younger brothers and sisters, and my aunts and uncles on his side that were good and righteous people but who were grieving so badly. When he died, I stood by their side at the funeral and helped the younger ones (all adults) through the process, as an older sister. But I did not forget what life had been like with him. This all happened in 1991 and I still have not fully forgiven in the way I should 100%, but time does help. Anyone who loves you, is a dear friend to you or who respects you (as I do) will support you in your decisions. I am with you, no matter what you decide and I will wholeheartedly agree that whatever you choose is the right choice for you. I am on your side no matter what, and you are not alone in your feelings. Your father may not have always done what was right for you, so to take the opportunity to do what is right for yourself now is 100% fair and 100% okay.
@TonyB0588 I think everyone on MFP loves our data and uses it to track our progress. Just in case you don't know how, here is how to keep your progress by using a spoiler (we all love to read eachother's progress!)

End with the same way you started but add a backslash after the first bracket like this: bracket backslash spoiler end bracket.
This way you and others can easily continue to track. I hope this helps.
@AR10at50 You did awesome last round! However, I am with you (and with Tish too according to one of her posts). I have spent a few days of travel placing me back in the 180 range. But I have spent all of Fall & now part of winter in the 170's and I am so so ready to move on! To decide this in December is well.....unrealistic for me. But I strive to drop what I can, keep my water weight in check, get back in the ballpark and get into the 160's likety split and ASAP. The 3 of us seem to have the same exact goal right now, beat those 170's and get into those 160's. Lets remember, December is a roadblock, not a brick wall. We'll get past it together!10
