Ozzfest many years back...sadly Ozzy was not able to attend but there was:

    Linkin Park
    Papa Roach
    Disturbed
    Slipknot
    Korn

The show was totally bad *kitten*!!

Metallica, Deftones, Linkin Park about 10 years ago!

Summer Sanitarium? I went to that in Minneapolis in 2003 - except Deftones didn't show and Mudvayne played.

But to pic a favorite???.....Hmm, just saw Dokken and Quiet Riot on Saturday and did a good show - if we would have stuck around about 15 minutes longer I would have gotten to meet Sean McNabb and Don Dokken. UGH!!

But I would have to say I really liked Alice Cooper - 1998, but Iron Maiden was good too a couple years ago.....and Steve Miller did an awesome show too (albeit much more relaxed then the metal bands)

I hate this question - basically every concert I have been to has been my favorite for different reasons.

Metallica, at some RV park in Pecatonica, IL. Traffic was so bad getting there that many people missed the concert.

Less Than Jake at the Metro in Chicago.

Rob Zombie, Monster Magnet, and Fear Factory. That one was loud and painful.
  • Dream Theater & Fates Warning @ the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston.

Sevendust at the Casino Ballroom, Hampton Beach, NH. Every time.

Wow, so many...I would have to say that The Church the first time I saw them was amazing, and I've seen them something like 9 times since. Spiritualized is really good as well and I get to see them again this fall I think. White Lies, the best band right now that most Americans don't know...

Not a huge fan but Lady Gaga's Monsters Ball was a great show.
    B.B. King
    Bad Boys Tour in 94-95?
    Tom Petty
    Cypress Hill
    Live
    Prince

    Were some of my faves.

Jimmy Buffett and Spin Doctors tie for the worst.

Crosby, Stills, Nash at Park City back in the early 90's. They played for four hours. They played an acoustic set, then each one of they played a solo set and they finished with an electric set. The only concert I ever went to that I walked away thinking I'd gotten my money's worth.

Live music is pretty much better than everything else in life... but I say Andrew W.K. every single time. Dancing on stage, after party with his band, pretty hard to beat. Party Hard!
