Thank you all so much for the compliments on my dress. I love it and it is so detailed I will be able to get by with very simple lines for jewelry and shoes. It fit me and will still fit me even if I still lose the 15-20 lbs I want without needing alterations I think. Now I need to figure out hairstyle and shoes and I’ll be set!

I have reviewed my notes for the interview, it’s still 3 hours away so I’ll review again before I leave.

Jeschepp - “analysis paralysis” what a great way to word it. I do this all the time. I have so many projects I want to do that I don’t know which one to do first and I end up doing nothing. I am reminded of how little I’m doing when I get my weekly report on my phone telling me how many hours I have spent on Social Media.

Faebert - I used to love entertaining and having people over, since we have moved we really don’t have room for it. You have a busy week ahead, hope it all goes smooth for you.

Clicketykeys - I hope you get caught up fast and find some time for yourself to just unwind.

Littleblackskirt- I hope your son listens and takes heed now, I so wish I would have started paying more attention when I was younger.

Aubyshortcake - watching someone you love go through a divorce is so hard. I ate way too much yesterday too and was over by over 1000, but I did some more walking to try to get it a bit lower. It’s such a balancing act.

Maryrobinson40- I just love you and your motivation. Today I am overcoming my fear of interviewing and I’m going to walk in confident. I want this job, I need to work, there is so much I need to do for this wedding and for our home!

Cschmitz110515 - there are some awful bugs going around that seem hard to kick. I hope it’s gone fully for you now.

Cant even find my goals again for yesterday ... but I am exhausted. I had such a list of stuff to do, and got a lot of them done.
Today will be busy ... I have 4 cubic yards of composts being dropped off ... which I need to haul to the backyard and put on my flower beds! So, I will for sure get in my steps.

I'll try and catch up on posts tonite

    JFT, Mon
    1. log all food
    2. mindful eating
    3. jan challenge = 8+ water
    4. feb challenge - 1 nite time snack/ brush teeth/ sip on wter
    5. mar challenge --- 15 min outside. Well... I think I will get that in!

I am SO tired. There's just so much to do. I've got piles and piles of papers on my desk and I've got to prioritize organizing them even before I start grading because otherwise I'll lose student work and that is like THE ULTIMATE FAIL. I always make it a priority to keep track of their work because they are SO READY to jump on that as an excuse "well I turned it in and you lost it!" and if it ever even happens ONCE then word gets out and you are DONE for.

I'm just glad to see you are grading! Our youngest, who is now in college, has had such trouble, especially in classes that have writing assignments, getting his work returned in a timely manner (this was also the case in his high school class at the Consortium). He doesn't know if the writing is acceptable or what changes he needs to make, if he formatted it correctly, etc. It's very frustrating.

Weekly Weigh-In = When I'm active I eat back calories. My weaknesses: I love food... my sweet tooth, especially chocolate... portion control... FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). Saturday a.m. is my MFP weigh-in logging day, and I peek occasionally other days. My digital scale only shows half pound increments & I'm too cheap to buy a fancier scale. No goal dates set ~ this is not a diet but my lifestyle.

    Age 61, 5'4.5"
    GW #1: 150 in a livable way = It's. Not. A. Diet.
    GW #2: 145 normal BMI
    UG maintain: 145 - 150 [Need to be realistic! Revised from 140 - 145]

11/5/15 = 195.0 joined MFP with no real plan except It's. Not. A. Diet.
1/10/17 = 185.5 clearly not a regular on MFP / joined JFT, best group ever!
5/31/17 = 180.5 two end of month celebrations / committed to posting weekly weigh-in
    06/03 = 177.5
    06/10 = 179.5 pre-10K spaghetti supper night before
06/17 = 179.5 numerous meals away from home, several occasions w/ alcohol, happy no gain
06/24 = 178.0 fluctuated during week, but ended ok
07/01 = 176.0 Yay!!! Achieved June goal to stay <180
    07/08 = 177.5 oops

08/12 = 173.5 scale flirted with even lower numbers on daily weigh-ins
08/19 = 173.5 had couple of high calorie days
    08/26 = 172.0 kind of a surprise
09/02/17 = 170.0 Woohoo! Officially overweight, not obese
    09/09 = 171.5 backsliding, ack!
09/16 = 169.5 yay, the middle number is a six!
09/23 = 168.5 have lots challenges in upcoming week
09/30 = 167.0 met Sept goal to stay under 170
    10/07 = 166.0
10/14 = 166.5 dined out 2 days with adult beverages plus wine & cheesecake at spa

10/28 = 164.5 very active week & watched CICO / reached October goal of 165
11/04 = 163.0 wow, really surprised at this, daily fluctuations very up and down this week
11/11 = 164.5 this is temporary b/c very high sodium yesterday
11/18 = 162.0 big surprise, especially b/c I weigh myself daily and didn't see this all week
11/25 = 163.0 no surprise after 2 no-logging-food days (parade day and Thanksgiving), just glad not worse
    12/02 = 161.0 Jingle Bell 5K day / 44:37 chip time & ave. pace 14:22 & very happy!
12/09/17 = 158.5 surprised to say the least / first time in 10 years my weight is 1-5-anything!

    01/27 = 156.5 maintaining / not a bad thing
    02/03 = sick / no weigh in

    02/17/18 = 153.0 thrilled with annual physical on 2/15/18: BP 110/68, pulse 64 and BMI 26.14 :star:
02/24 = 154.0 little out of control last week, but at goal for the month
    03/03 = 155.5 oops / still lower than before I was sick
    03/10 = 153.5 back on track

    04/28 = 152.0
05/05 = 153.5 kinda stalled three months + feeling hungry more often ~ since w/i 10# of goal, changed MFP setting to lose 1/2 lb. per week & see how it goes

Had the interview, I thought it went well. She asked for my references and hopes to talk to them today. She said she still had a couple more interviews and then she will let me know. The next step would be meeting with the owners and office manager to ensure it’s a personality fit.

It sounds like a job I would like and I wouldn’t mind the commute.
@cory17 don’t get discouraged, keep at it. I realized I have just been maintaining really since October, but nicer weather is coming and I feel I’ll get back on track soon.

@clicketykeys - I hope you get some rest and get caught up soon.

Yea, you did it and it's over and done!

Hmmm...if she is off and running and checking on references today, I would think sending a thank you today would be okay. Certainly in the morning. With the way you have described the lack of jobs available to folks, you need to stand out---in a good way!

Did you think of anything to add that was left out of the interview?

    Monday 18 March

Oops seems as if I forgot to post this morning but it would have been the usual goals and the only ones with smileys would have been staying in the green and the February and March challenges. I've been conducting interviews all day and I've not been moving, meeting excercise goals or drinking water! This is not going to be a good week as I am away later on with good food and limited excercise times!

@Snowflake1968 You look stunning in your dress and I hope you get good news on your interview

I agree with the others... the sooner she gets a email thanking her, and letting her know how much you would love this job... that may make you stand out ahead of all the others! Sounds like it was a great interview ... we will keep praying! Keep us posted!

Loosely followed my meal plan. Walked 4+ miles with dogs.

    I still need to:

Read the assigned chapter for homework.
    Finish lab homework.
    Go to bed by 11:00.
    Pack tomorrow's lunch for school.
