02/04 = (no weigh-in) So I've had a funky last few months. I started a new job 2.5 months ago (good thing, but stressful). I got some bad news about the osteoarthritis in my reconstructed right knee. My wife and I are trying to have a baby. We're also trying to buy a house. I've been in the throes of my sugar addiction, I haven't been exercising at all, and I've gained back just about everything I lost last year. I've been trying to get myself back to a "healthy" state of mind for a while now, but I've been feeling guilty and stupid for leaving this community in the first place. Rather than "pick up where I left off," I'm going to start over (no posting my history). We'll see how it goes, as I can always look it up later if I really want to. The bottom line is, coming here and posting every morning really worked for me before. Having your support really worked for me.
I'm trying really hard to be kind and forgiving to myself. I'm really angry that I let things go as far as I think they have. I'm really going to try to stay around for a while, 10 days at a time, just like I did before. I'll weigh-in tomorrow morning to see where I'm at. Thanks in advance for letting me hang around.
02/05 = 221.8 (-0.2), BF% =18.7 (no change). First weigh-in and post in a long time. I was under calories yesterday and on point in macros. No sweets. So far, so good.
02/06 = 218.2 (-3.6), BF% = 18.3 (-0.4). Didn't take long for that first WHOOSH. I was under calories yesterday, even if I didn't hit my macros exactly the way I wanted to. It feels good to be back. I had a "chubby" coworker mention today that we have the exact same belly. I was both "thrown off" by the comment, and frustrated at the same time. It figures that someone would notice me being chubby the moment I get back into health and fitness. Rather than being angry with the universe, I'll acknowledge that I'm listening to what the universe has to say. I have to say, being back in this challenge feels pretty natural. I'm going to have to spend some time figuring out exactly why I left in the first place...
02/07 = 216.2 (-2.0), BF%.= 18.1 (-0.2). Another decent day eating. I'm generally sticking to keto, and I'm getting under my calorie goal every day. Keto is a definite quick start/boost for my weight loss, and I'm okay with that. I've really wanted this for a long time. So glad to be back!
02/08 = 214.6 (-1.6), BF% = 17.9 (-0.2). I forgot how fast weight drops off in the first week of keto. Not complaining! Truth is, I'm only half-@$$ing it (the keto part). I do lots of avoiding (no sugar, no rice, no pasta, [usually] no bread), but at this point I'm really focusing on portion control (until I can get myself fully back in to food-prepping, which is hard). So far, so good! Waiting for my first "bump" in the road, which will inevitably come... it has to. Preparing myself for it. It's not a bad thing, it's just part of the journey. It will always be there. Until then, however, I'm going to enjoy my "fun" streak (7.4 lbs in 4 days), and see how long I can keep it going.
02/09 = 215.2 (+0.6), BF% = 18.0 (+0.1). I was out for dinner with wife at brother-in-law's, and I did pretty well. He's pushy though. I had one more drink than I wanted, and a SMALL dessert that I didn't want either. I'm okay with where I'm at today. Going to a baby shower lunch in a bit. No idea what for will be like. Going to try to be mindful, and I'm going to track everything. Wish me luck!

I forgot! Thank you for the "never look back" (can't remember your version of it at the moment) advice. It was a thought I've had, but I've been torn. It felt right, though (moving forward). I'm going to stick with it!3 -

02/02 ….. 186.9 ….. Same as yesterday on the scale. I ate back my 222 calories from exercise. Over on the carbs, but not too bad. I kept my bun on my hamburger because I was so hungry. I should have planned differently. I burned 2437 calories overall. 11,640 total steps & 5.12 miles overall. 13/13 fitbit step hours. I slept 6 hours 26 minutes which is great for me. No dancing (frown) but I did take a brisk walk indoors at the school for 34 minutes. I stopped on my way past when I saw the school was open for some type of meeting (cars in parking lot). Update: My sister’s kidneys are showing some improvement today. They hope she’ll be off the ventilator tomorrow. No hope for her heart with multiple blockages which they say is inoperable so if she can make it in the short term we just don’t know how long it might be. She will have to move & live with her daughter if she can make it out of the hospital. She has pneumonia now & an unexplained infection which they are now trying to track. Thanks for the prayers & hugs. I am back to dancing today. I have already put in a set of almost an hour. Back to work now, but I will be dancing again this evening & hope some of you will join me. Good luck everyone on this round!
02/03 ….. 186.9….. Drats! The same, but it’s my own fault. I am certainly eating my emotions. Still dancing, eating back some of my calories with the dance but still staying under . However, it doesn’t work that way with carbs, so I’m getting nowhere. I’ve got to pull my emotions together here! STOP LEANING ON FOOD FOR EVERYTHING! I am just thankful there was not a gain. 1353 Total Calories. 75 Net Carbs of mostly junk. Burned 2557 total calories. 14,807 steps & 6.27 miles all of which are helping me to at least maintain. 13/13 fitbit stephours. 4 hours 16 minutes of sleep. IF 16:8. I danced for 71 minutes burning 434 calories. Calorie burn does depend on the songs I choose. Sample song was “Got it Wrong” by the Wildfeathers. Sis continues to show very minor improvements in some areas. Thanks for the well wishes. Heavy workload today as there are lots of checkouts and cleanings in my cabins. I’ll get in lots of steps today more than likely.
02/04 …..186.9…..Not budging because of my eating. Also, no planned exercise yesterday or dancing. But I did have a physically heavy work day. My stats: 1668 Total Calories. 81 Net Carbs. 44 minutes of stripping beds burned a whopping 48 calories according to my fitbit activity marker. 10,460 total steps & 4.43 miles. 13/13 fitbit stephours. 5 hours & 14 minutes of sleep. IF 16:8. Sis is improving. Catheter out later today. Sitting up in chair. Thanks again for all the prayers & well wishes. One side of my house is trying to flood due to snow on roof backing up & coming down walls (ruining drywall) and onto new carpeting! That’s why I had a metal roof put on two years ago but it’s not working this year! Someone is coming to try to remove the dams of ice on the ends and minimize the problem. When will this Merry-go-Round ride end? The warmer temps are causing a bit of a meltdown. I am also still dealing with the insurance job on the roof where the tree fell on it at my business. Still not repaired. The temps had been too cold for them to work last week (which I understand). I need lots of hugs today folks! Thanks in advance! Hopefully I can find the time to get some dancing in.
02/05 ….. 186.7 …..Great strong day yesterday in my eating plan. 1305 Total Calories & 11 Net Carbs. 2374 Calories Out. 12,388 Total Steps & 5.24 Miles. IF 16:8. 13/13 fitbit stephours. 5 hours & 3 minutes of sleep. I danced 29 minutes. Sample song (which was perfect beat for dancing) was “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder. Today was much more sedentary due to my schedule so my fitbit will not be showing the numbers I normally like for tomorrow’s post but it shouldn’t be too bad. Out to lunch with a friend today but made better than usual choices so I’m proud, even though the carbs will be a bit over what I like to see. I don’t think I will see any major damage on the scale. I will try to fit in one dancing set tonight just to get in some movement and a few more steps. Have a great night everyone!
02/06 ….. 186.7….. It’s stubborn but so am I. I feel like I’m in a stare contest. I am not going to blink today. Not today! One day at a time, right? My Stats for yesterday after going out with a friend for Mexican Food lunch: 1358 Total Calories In. 38 Net Carbs In. 2189 Calories Out. 10,123 steps & 4.45 total miles. IF: 16:8. No sleeping record because I charged my fitbit during sleep. I danced 36 minutes and one of my songs was “Gimme One Reason” by Tracy Chapman. It is a little slower & sexy/sultry and makes the perfect 1st start-up song or final cool down song. It really makes you feel like you’ve got your slim on. Today will be another good day, but tomorrow is Pool/Potluck. Perhaps I can get some extra sets in today to prepare. Also, food choices….food choices….food choices. I’m just glad I stayed away from the chips & salsa on the table yesterday, or today I would have been much more bloated. Sis moved to private room at the hospital & out of ICU. They are saying she has “small blood vessel disease” in her heart due to diabetes, the years she used to smoke & weight. That means that bypass surgeries are not possible for her heart. She is resting & doing well. We don’t know how long she can survive with multiple heart blockages of 95% - 100%. She is 63. She will be 64 this month. She quit smoking a few years ago but due to stents & blockages she's had in her legs in the past, she is not very active anymore (before this heart attack). Let’s get fit folks & keep up our good habits!
02/07 ….. 186.5 ….. Dripping off like water on the icecicles, but it’s in the right direction! My stats for yesterday: Very low calories in because of workload that caused me to starting eating so late in my IF eating window: 775 Calories In. 2260 Calories Out. 27 Net Carbs which were mostly from my Zoodles in Marinara. 12,351 Total Steps & 5.23 total Miles. IF with a late start so it was more like 20:4. I slept a fantastic 6 hours & 40 minutes. I danced 77 minutes total which was broken into a couple of sets. Sometimes I do them in sets because when they are shorter I can do heavier & faster beats. Sometimes longer sets to fit them in when something is coming up & I need to just get a good set in. My sample song was “Lido Shuffle” by Boz Scaggs. I found myself doing more of a funky twist with lots of arms, more than anything. Anytime I twist it makes my waist feel so slender! And we all know how well it did for Chubby Checker! I have higher intensity songs too, but I can’t do all peak songs for the length of time I want to dance, so my tempos change, but I always work my way up to a peak & down from the peak during a longer set. Heart healthy. Pool night tonight. I will try to be mindful. I did pretty good last week but I never know what will be on the buffet so I am praying for strength & continued resolve. I DO NOT want to change my ticker unless it’s in the right direction and right now, I’m still playing catch up! Stay warm everyone!
02/08 ….. 186.9 …..Up a blip from pool hall & potluck. No worries. Too hard to calculate calories & carbs but I know they were higher than my normal plan. My other stats: Over 2000 calories likely. Over 200 carbs is probable. Net carbs unsure. 2240 Calories Out. 10,120 total Steps & 4.3 Total Miles. IF 16:8 Slept 4 hours 33 minutes. 11/13 step hours. Danced 35 minutes before leaving for the event. Sample song: “Jealous” by Nick Jonas, only because I am Sexy Beautiful and so are you! My sister may be leaving the hospital today so it is a blessed day. Have a great weekend everyone!
02/09 …..186.9 ….. A well planned day which did not yet show up on the scale. My Stats: 1015 Calories In. 2211 Calories Out. Net Carbs 27. 11,117 Total Steps & 4.78 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. IF: 20:4 I slept 3 hours 24 minutes but I’m feeling energized and okay (for now). I danced for 1 hour yesterday. Sample song “Sweet Dreams" by the Eurythmics. I tried the natural peanut butter made by smuckers. The only ingredients is Peanuts & salt. I’m just used to a little sweeter peanut butter, not too much, just enough to satisfy both my salty & my sweet cravings when I just don’t know what I want. I put in a small dish & added about 1/8 tsp of powdered Stevia to 2 TBSP of the peanut butter & mixed well. It came out just right for me. I have the drops too but I save those for my travels for my tea in restaurants. Also, I did not want my PB to get runny. It was delish & helped to up my protein intake for the day. My carbs for the day were zucchini zoodles & the PB for the most part. I was strong & I love that! Terrible weather & bad roads continue in our area. Since week before last the kids have only went to school for one day. Because it is such a rural area with far apart houses, bus stops are impossible & each child is picked up in their own driveway. Most back roads are dirt roads, very icy causing the closings. Huge fire in our community yesterday that affected two families who lost everything but thankfully are okay & were able to save their dogs. Both families came to my cabins to stay last night. One family has left today to stay with family/friends. The other family will continue to stay here until they can sort things out & make a plan. Total loss of their apartments. Lost all belongings, but thankfully they are okay. My sister is home and being cared for by her daughter at this point. I am trying to plan a trip from Northern Michigan to middle Tennessee to see her but I cannot travel alone & I must have coverage here at my home & cabins. I’m trying to work it all out with my family. Hopefully I can go soon. Enjoy your Saturday everyone!

02/03. 227.6 . Barely moved. Trying harder today to track more accurately!
02/04 228.4. Yikes! What happened? Tomorrow is another day!
The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. - John C. Maxwell
02/05. 227.4. I was more careful with weighing and it paid off. I saved a couple hundred calories yesterday for a dessert, but at the end of the day, decided I would rather see a scale drop and didn’t eat it! It paid off .
02/06. 225.7. It’s so important to log EVERYTHING ACCURATELY. That extra pat of butter or taste of something just adds up. I am learning that for me, it’s easier to log my meals before I have them so I can make better decisions about making a plate and feel good about eating it instead of being surprised at the total after I log it!
02/07. 224.7. Yipee!

Day/Weight/Comment
02/02- 212.6- I had an alright day yesterday, 2000cals eaten and 13600 steps, so I came away with a deficit. Aunt Flo came to visit today so I'm alright with my weight staying steady.
02/03- 211.4lb- whoo! 550cals yesterday, 9900steps. Over the last week I averaged 12,000steps a day, very pleased with that. We have my sons class puppet staying with us for the week so we are going to treat him to a cinema trip today, a large Diet Coke for me. My partner will cook enchiladas for our tea tonight, already looking forward to it X
02/04- 211.2lb- 9500steps, 1300cals, no popcorn, yay! On the down side we got to the cinema and then we realised we'd left the class puppet at home...not so good. Today is miserable and rainy here so I'm opting for staying at home and cracking on with housework, fun fun fun, I will have to make sure I stick to my calories today so I still come away with a nice deficit X
02/05- 210.6lb- I did very well yesterday with eating, managed to stay within my fasting limit. Steps could of been better at about 8000. Today's goal is to stay under 1700cals, I'm going to eat a fulfilling breakfast before going and doing our weekly food shop X
02/06- 211.4lb- Did well yesterday, stuck to my calorie goal, quite a salty day so I'm not surprised by the bump up on the scales. Today is a fast day and trying to get in plenty of steps and maybe even a workout video after kids have gone to bed though my thighs and bum are still aching from Monday's attempts!x
02/07- 211.4lb- 24,500 steps yesterday, 700cals, a very good day. On another note though my new scales have come and confirm that my current scales are out by quite a bit 😓. I will wait until the end of the month to swap to them completely as I'm on the biggest loser challenge and don't want to mess up my numbers there but then il have to take the hit of about a 10lb increase...not good but ultimately for the last month I have still been exercising and eating well, none of that has changed, just the number on the scales. Still can't help but feel a little de-motivated by it though, I feel like I have to do all of January's work again X
02/08- 212.0lb- not too good of a day yesterday, ate to just above TDEE, not many steps.
02/09- 211.6- 15,000 steps, 800cals yesterday, I am still feeling motivated, I would like the scale to shift a little more over the next few days X

02/02 149.7 yesterday was a good day. I'm nervous about tomorrow. I have two food centered event today, including a chocolate chip cookie bake off and a dumpling party. Lord, give me strength.
02/03 149.6 lesson for the day... When you don't get a lot of calories allotted for each day (1200), eating a cookie eats up like a quarter of your calories. That's insane. And leaves you feeling pretty hungry, since a cookie does not satiate. It was really hard not to over eat yesterday. I made it, and the scale obviously forgave me for the cookie bake off I attended, but really hard. What are people's strategies for making it through today? (those of you watching that sports thing going on).
02/04 150.4 eek. I ate at or pretty close to at my target calories, but salt got me and the two drinks I had when I've been dry for the part month. Super bowl partial sabotage. Actually, not that bad. I still feel good, and I did an hour of yoga this morning.
02/05 149.8 doing all the right things, so I'll have faith that, in the long run, I'll break though this little one pound yo yo thing.
02/06 149.8 sigh. It's not possible that I can be eating a maintenance amount of calories. I hope I break this plateau soon.
02/07 149.0 ¡por fin!
02/08 148.7 I had a really good day yesterday. Two workouts. Ate tons of protein. Some really nice conversations with friends. But, best of all, the better eating has improved my energy levels. I usual spend the afternoon exhausted and ready to fall asleep by four. That's not been happening recently.
02/09 148.3 So, scale is not reflective of the quality of my eating yesterday. I had a school even for which I baked/catered and did some new things, so I felt like I hat to try my new creations (orange cardamom chocolate chip muffins and Japanese milk bread cinnamon rolls). The sugar hit me hard in the afternoon and I ended up needing a nap around five. I tried to make up for it by going to jiu-jitsu this morning. On the plus side...
I logged everything and I still stayed within my calorie goals. Salad and a lot of chicken breast to balance all those simple carbs.

02/02 - 201 (2380 steps) I’m not gonna lie. I was a complete slug on Friday. We got 6 inches of snow and I didn’t go to work. I didn’t exercise. I was wayyyyyy over on my eating. It was more of an 80/20 day. Not a complete blow out. I just needed a break for a moment. Now I’m back on track!!! 😁😁
02/03 - 199.9 (7331 steps) I rode Spark for 45 mins on Saturday at the barn. I avoided bagels and donuts brought by other clients. I didn’t binge when I got home. It was a good day but, I am sore!
02/04 - 201.3 (6074 steps) 31 mins on bike (6.84 miles) Just call me a yo-yo this past weekend. On Sunday I did really well until mid-afternoon and then I just wanted to eat!!! What the heck? So I did but, I know Monday is meal prep day after work and I can usually do sooo much better on weekdays. I can get over my weekend hump. No problem. I got this.
02/05 - 200.7 (5994 steps) 35 mins on the bike (7.52 miles) Yesterday was Meal Prep Monday. I got caught up on making food for the week. This week is pork chops and Fusia chicken fried rice (both from Aldi). Feeling in better control of my hunger.
02/06 - 200.2 (6421 steps) 41 mins on bike (8.54 miles) Tuesday was an okay day. Stressful at work but, that isn’t anything new. I work in a VERY hectic occupational medicine office and I am the only one who does what I do for 2 providers and all our workers comp patients. Ugh! Did a bit more meal prep. Not sure how far it will get me but, it’s better than not being prepared and eating like an idiot.
02/07 - 200.7 (6902 steps) 43 mins on bike (9.09 miles) Had dinner with my girlfriends at a sushi place. It was an 80/20 day and I am okay with that. As long as I don’t do that all the time, I should be okay. Got a call to dog sit this weekend for a family going out of town. Need to plan what to do for meals. That’s usually when I scavenge and lose all control.
02/08 – 198.8 (3405 steps) Thursday I got home after work with a terrible headache which probably would have evolved into a migraine. Think I have a bit of TMJ starting on the right side. I ate dinner, tried to catch up on JGM10D posts, but by 7:35pm, I just had to go to bed. I was done! Woke up to a nice # on the scale though! Onederland – here we are again.
02/09 - no scale/dog sitting (5837 steps) Friday was a decent day. Family went to Pizza Hit for dinner and I was still within my calories. I’m dog sitting next 2 nights. I did really well until closer to midnight. I just couldn’t stop myself from LNS! It wasn’t bad food. It was just too much food. Ugh!
02/10 - no scale/dog sitting

02/05 - Just a quick commitment tonight to say I will weigh in tomorrow morning and commit to the remainder of this round! I was going to wait til next round, but no better time than the present. I'll probably be up a bit from Superbowl indulgences amd stress eating thru my job searching. But gotta get back in the swing of things or it will just keep going up and ill keep making excuses!
02/06 - Wednesday - 180.8 - Whoops! I stress ate granola before bed last night too even after making this commitment. I've definitely been eating over maintenance more often than not so this is really not a surprise. What's important is that I keep pressing onward! I think I've made a choice on the job hunt. It has not been easy and will not get any easier for some time...but the busier I am, the more structure I add to my life, the more I can hone in a process and stick to it. I need to have confidence in myself and my choices and execute them! Glad to be back!
02/07 - Thursday - 178.8 - whoosh! Baby steps! I was working yesterday so my habits come a lot easier than when im at home. I'm home today but I'm off to a good start! Feeling incresibly busy despite workong part time. Adding as much structure to life as possible to keep me on track.
02/08 - Friday - 178.8 - Salad fot lunch before dress fitting. Then had to go to a wake and family went out for chinese after. Then we had friends over and ate again with them. Doh.
02/09 - Saturday - 179.6 - not surprising after yesterday's eating. Went to Ikea today and ate too many meatballs. Gotta get it together.

ROUND 67 (Round 13 for me)
5’5” 67 y/o Texas Lady
SW 178 lb.
GW 135 lb.
I started Round 54 and Keto WOE on September 24, 2018.
Cumulative weight loss for Rounds 54-66 = 38.4 lb.
I like you folks, and I really appreciate and enjoy your company. Besides, I’m not sure I can stay on track without you!
Day/Weight/Comment
02/02 139.8 I’m starting this round .2 lb. above yesterday’s weight, but I had a short night, so I’m grateful it wasn’t higher. One way or another, I’ll have to get in a walk tomorrow. For this evening, I’ll complete my pushups and sit-ups. My pushups are still wimpy, but I’ll get stronger.
02/03 139.8 Again. Oh, well, tomorrow could be worse. I walked over 6 miles today, and that usually stunts my loss for a day. I ate more than usual this evening, too, watching the football game with my Boston-area born husband. He was happy with the game. We ate some of his left-over ribs from our date yesterday, and I made keto sausage cheese balls/puffs. I feed him extra carbs (he had the rest of his sweet potato this evening), but he likes most of my keto foods. We didn’t have company, so I have a lot of the sausage cheese puffs left—I’ll have three or four with a boiled egg for a quick breakfast before I leave for work in the morning.
02/04 140.6
02/05 140.4
02/06 140.6 I got busy and fell behind! I did another 6+ mile walk with Thor today. I have a strong desire to get below 140 again before the round is over. I haven’t logged calories for the last 3 days (experimenting), but I may have to start again. I was supposed to do push-ups and sit-ups yesterday, but I received the second shingles vaccine, and my arm is very sore. I think I can do the sit-ups this evening, but I’m not sure about the push-ups. Our local “pizza paradise” has started making a gluten free/cauliflower crust pizza that we tried this evening. It was good, but I wouldn’t know how to log it if I was logging. I had ¼ of a 10” pizza, which shouldn’t be too bad. I liked it. My husband prefers the regular crust, but agreed he could eat this one again.
02/07 139.8 I’m glad to be back under 140, if only barely. Six of our card playing group played canasta most of the day and the husband of our hostess prepared a very tasty low-carb soup and salad lunch. I ate some of the sugar-free peach pie our hostess baked, even though peaches not being part of my eating plan. Despite the pain from my vaccination on Tuesday, I was able to complete my sit-ups and push-ups last night, which made me happy. I have a rash at the vaccination site, but my arm is less sore today.
02/08 140.2
02/09 139.8 Yesterday, I was up early, worked on tax returns for almost 12 hours, and returned home exhausted. Today, I was up early helping with the community pancake breakfast (I only ate eggs and sausage). I did my shopping and took a 2-hr. nap before taking a 3 mile walk. I feel much better this evening. I'm back where I started the round, with only two more days to show progress, so I'll see what happens.

@KLM4k I was worried about you when I saw the drastic 10 pound loss in 5 days. I see that's changed over the last couple of days. You probably need to look for a new scale. Keep up your good work!2

FIRST ROUND (Newbie)
SW jan 2015 - 165 lb
SW jan 2019 - 147.4 lb
GW - 135 lb
10 day goal - continue doing 30 days yoga with Adrienn (youtube), completing day 15 on 02/12.
02/02 - 143.2 Yesterday went great! And this morning I was delighted to find myself even closer to my goal. Tonight might be challenging as I have a date. But I chose the skating rink because then I'll be getting active and I don't have to eat anything there (although I might, but I'll be sure to log!) And this guy is in recovery so I won't be drinking around him either. I think this should be pretty fun overall.
02/03 - 143.2 As of this morning I met my mini goal of 7 days in a row of yoga. Yesterday was challenging with food because I snacked instead of having meals and by 5pm I only had 130 calories left for the day so I went hungry on my date. We didn't go skating because it was too crowded and instead saw a movie. When I got home at midnight famished I had my last 130 calories. But overall I am content because I enjoyed myself and didn't break my calorie goal.
02/04 - 144 Yesterday was another great day. I enjoyed spending time with my roommate and went out with my friend. He got a bottle of this super delicious Cab called 19 Crimes, so I ended up over my calorie goal because I drank a few glasses. And even though the scale reflects my lapse in rigidity I'm not sweating it because I had a great time and I completed day 8 of yoga this morning.
02/05 - 143.4 I think I'm doing a lot right. I hope I continue on in this way. I just ordered a fitbit flex 2 on Amazon this morning. It will be here on Thursday. I'm hoping the will encourage me to be more active, take more long walks. Yoga is still going well though!
02/06 - 141.8 I woke up super dihydrated this morning, so I'm guessing this huge jump is due to that as I didn't do anything special yesterday. Or it's some kind of delayed loss, which would be great! Or it's a combination of the two, which would also be great! Today is my day off so I'll be cleaning all day. Super excited to be up and moving so much! Haven't completed day 10 of yoga yet so that's on my aggenda after breakfast 🙂
02/07 - 142.6 So yesterday I did my yoga and made sure to drink plenty of water. I'm not surprised by this number. I take it as a win!
02/08 - 141.9 y'all I'm feeling great! I feel like a data scientist with my new fitbit. Studying my baseline movement and sleep. After a week studying my baseline (til the end of this round) I'll start implementing my movement routine. Then I will be able to compare my pre and post results! I'm excited y'all!
02/09 - NW. I am in San Francisco staying with a friend so no scale. I'm here for an event that happened last night that went amazing. I danced all night. I had so much energy and the benefits of my daily yoga practice really became evident. I felt loose as a goose, I could move my body how ever the music took me. I had to estimate all the food, but I did log. I'm hoping for a lower number tomorrow when I'm home. And I did do yoga today, so I'm 13 days in a row!

02/06 82.2kg and a morning run. Feeling good!
02/08 82.6kg bouncing around but I'm still green so I'm sure it will settle soon

Day/Weight/Comment
02/02 - 181.4lbs - Whoosh! I was back to being good yesterday and had a snow day with my daughter so we played in that loads and made her first snowmen and did snow Angel's etc, so I got some natural, fun exercise in
02/03 - 182.02lbs - not surprised. Had sisters 40th birthday party last night, so had quite a bit of alcohol. I clocked up over 16,000 steps with all the dancing, but it was very energetic, so I expect the calorie burn was good. Hopefully undo some of the calorie damage of the alcohol and I'll see a better number on the scale tomorrow morning once I've stopped retaining water.
02/04 - 183lbs
02/05 - 182.2lbs - having trouble posting. TOM.
02/06 - 181.8lbs - back on track and seeing the number fall
02/07 - 181lbs - still coming down, which is great started with another cold though. Not so great.
02/08 - 180lbs - wahoo. Really pleased with this. I guess my weight on Monday was mostly water weight as have had such a whoosh since then. Really want to get into the 170s by the end of this round! Fingers crossed. We're going out for a curry tomorrow night to celebrate DHs best friends 40th birthday (so many 40ths this year). Hopefully I don't do too much damage. I will be driving, so not drinking, so it'll just be the calorie dense food!
02/09 - 180lbs - just want my cold to go away now! Lol
02/10 - 181.6lbs - that'll be the curry from last night. Went out for DHs friends 40th. Good rest of the day, and no alcohol as felt rotten and I was driving. Still rotten today, but leaving to take DD swimming in a minute.

Round 66 ~|~ End Goal: < 165
01/01: 165.1: Goals ✅ Almost made it! Lol!
Round 67 ~|~ End goal: <164
02/02: 164.6: Goals Now why couldn't that have happened yesterday? Lol! Spent 4 hours walking round Belfast City with my daughters. Some offbeat food choices, but well under goal. Mostly water weight, I think.
03/02: 164.8: Goals ✅ Family visits today. Didn't over-indulge. Took it easy exercise wise.
04/02: 164.9: Goals ✅ I had meetings before/after lunch, but was able to fit in some exercise. Walked my steps up after dinner.
05/02: 164.8: Goals ✅ I had meeting in the morning and evening. Felt a bit bleaugh! In the afternoon and took it easy, then Will Power decided to desert me after dinner, and because I had spare calories, I ate a few snacks when I was out and before bed. It will have consequences, but the beauty of life is that we get a fresh start every single day.
06/02: 164.9: Goals: ✅ Planning to walk and go to the gym later. (I walked over an hour at the mall + some more later on the treadmill at gym, also did stationary bike and weights circuit.)
07/02: 164.9: Goals: I have a dance class this morning, and planning a arms session later. ✅All in all, a good day. Our daughter came for dinner, but she's doing Slimming World, so there were no temptations.
08/02: 164:8: Goals: ✅ *sigh* Plateaux are the pits! But they are a part of the process which we have to accept. This, too, shall pass! Noticed this morning that my muscle mass has increased from 27.2 to 27.4 which could explain this plateau. Had an busy day, but stayed up way too late.
09/02: 164.9: Goals: Gym session with my PT this afternoon. ✅ Also did a shedload more exercise for a challenge, so expecting a little rise as body retains water for muscle repair.
10/02: 165.0: Goals: Planning a rest day today after my exertions yesterday. NSV: I did measurements today and waist and underbust are both down an inch since I last measured in Nov. Legs/arms look more toned, but no reduction in size. So gym training seems to be paying off.
THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

02/03- 61.15
02/04- 61.10
02/05- 61.30 - mindlessly ate ice cream last night. So heading for more increase...
02/06- 61.60 ....Thanks Ben and Jerry 🙄
02/07- 61.95 need to refocus!
02/08- 61.65 - all week I've over-eaten sugar. The table of temptation at work has been bursting with cakes and I've indulged! I think it has been made worse by not enough sleep! 4 days off now so time to get back on track before the end of this round.
02/09- 61.60 - no snacking in the evening but had lots during the day
02/10- 61.45 - slowly heading back to where I was last round. Resolution for next week - back to the running, weights & yoga. This week I just did step and netball.

Day/Weight/Comment
02/02 Unable to weigh. Arrived back home this afternoon so I will weigh in again tomorrow morning.
02/03 11st 5.0lb Very happy with this...now to be careful as I have been invited out to my daughter's house for the day including lunch
02/04 11st 5.8lb Well, some weight put on. It was difficult to estimate the food I was given but I refused a pudding which was 333 calories! My son on law opened a bottle of champagne which only he and I had - he had bought it for us to share on New Year's day but as my daughter was not well, I didn't go there. I ended up drinking 3 glasses of that...fatal.
02/05 11st 5.6lb Ate just under mfp calories and none of my exercise calories which were higher than usual. Hopefully it's water retention which has kept my weight up - I had some crisps before bed. I treated myself as my net calories were quite low. Bad idea.
02/06 11st 6.2 Again - ate under my mfp calories and none of my exercise calories. No salty foods and ate nothing in the evening. My neighbour brought me round some flavoured water which had nil calories! However, I had a long session at the dentist having a root canal treatment and my face was swollen still in the evening, so maybe that contributed.
02/07 11st 5.4lb Finally going back down. Eating at 1200 only gives me a deficit of 200 from my maintenance level, so ignoring the first 300 exercise calories is the only way to get a 500 deficit, and I don't get that many exercise calories every day.
02/08 11st 5.4lb Happy to have stayed the same today - weighed this morning, only just found time to post it
02/09 11st 5.0lb Pleased to see I'm back to this weight after 6 days of fluctuations.
02/10 11st 5.0lb I'll take that, though it's time to drop lower. According to Libra, my trend is so slow I'll not reach my target weight until 2021!

Day/Weight/Comment
02/02 – 216.8 @ 6:00 am
02/03 – 217.6 @ 6:00 am. Up over the past two days, but lost inches since last measuring so not worried yet.
02/04 – 217.2 @ 6:00 am. Boringest SuperBowl EVER made it easy to keep moving and stay within calories.
02/05 – DNW
02/06 – 216.0 @ 5:30 am. Looks like I’ve hit another plateau. Been between 215 and 218 since January 8th
02/07 – DNW
02/08 – 215.4 @ 6:00 am. So far meeting goal number 2 only by adding minutes of goal number 1, but getting closer!! Goal 3 being met within T25 workouts started on Monday so yayyyy about that.
02/09 – 214.9 @ 6:30am – such a tease …. prayers its sticks.
02/10 – 215.2 @ 5:00am – did it to myself. Worked out more than an hour, but didn’t eat enough calories or drink enough water ON TOP of a carb heavy day of homefries and pringles yesterday!! Refuse to regret my choices, but crossing everything it drops again as the day progresses.

Disappointed with the last round as didn't feel the scales accurately reflected my 10 days. Going to try and change up my diet a bit this round and try and get out walking a bit more (already do 10k+ steps a few days a week so going to try and achieve this every day) along with keeping up my weekly swim one day a week and twice weekly gym PT session. Here we go!!!!
Round Target - lose 1.50-2lb
02/01 - 149.90
02/02 - 149.00lb (-0.90lb) Yay - off to a good start. Was a good food day and also walked 13k steps yesterday too - more of the same then I guess
02/03 - DNW - 10,561 steps
02/04 - 150.40lb - AARRGH!!! Back up we go again. Hoping this is just the weekend taunting me....... Found this pretty easy last year, but not so far this year ? Not doing anything really that different (have gone back and looked over my food diaries - is it that "(peri)-menopause thing" that makes it so much harder ? May investigate this a bit more.....
Didn't have my fitbit on yesterday but was busy all day cleaning and doing housework (builder are still going!). Planned walk later for the school run and then another one later on too. Hoping to see a drop tomorrow
02/05 - 149.90 down 0.50lb today but back to this number AGAIN! Fourth time in two weeks I've seen this number and would love it to be the last! Did my planned walks yesterday (14K steps in total) - unlikely to be so many today but will get in what walking I can and I am also at the gym tonight for an hour. Food all planned for today, will aim to drink more water as been a bit lax on that front recently and hope tomorrow sees another drop - anything less that 149.90lb - please!!!
02/06 - 150.40lb - here AGAIN!!!! Beginning to think my scales may be stuck in some horrendous loop
8,020 steps yesterday plus a weights session at the gym so that was all good and so was my food (I thought). Decided last night to go back to one of my earlier food diaries when I was losing weight relatively easily and repeat it today and see what happens...... I refuse to give up though - 5 days left of this round to crack it! Also planning a walk later after work .....
02/07 - 149.50lb down 0.90lb - OK this is good, heading in the right direction and my scale didn't stop on 149.90 again! Did my 10,000 steps yesterday and my food was spot on. Food planned for the day and will also be at the gym tonight for an hour - I shall continue my quest .....
02/08 - 148.70lb down 0.80lb - ok this is better. 7500 steps yesterday plus a tough HiiT session at the gym. No change in calories consumed but was grabbing convenience foods like bars or shakes for breakfast rather than preparing something (lazy I know!). As a result eating less overall carbs and more protein? Could this be the answer or at least part of it......
02/09 - 147.60 down 1.1lb - ooohhhh exciting - and continued to stay away from the meal bars / snacks and had a high protein lower carb day (still had an apple, we had (wholemeal) wraps for dinner so still eating carbs). Got in my 9k steps so a good day. Off for a swim now Have a great weekend people
02/10 - 147.30 down 0.3lb - feel like I'm back in the groove now! Actually made progress this round although it is Sunday so roast day (all within calories and macros but just a big diner late in the day) - will try to minimise the carbs that I have (although still need a couple of roast potatoes obviously!) as hopefully finish this round well

2/10 - 236.7 - Lazy day no exercise. Lots of reading and sitting by the fire unfortunately snacking involved.8
