02/12 180.2
02/13 180.8 Hmm I adjusted my calories slightly to see if that helps. How long do you normally give it before making adjustments? In the 20 days I’ve been back to using mfp I’ve lost 1.2 pounds.
💗02/14💗 179.4 Woo hoo! Back to round 67 start weight! We're on a budget this Valentine's Day, so we're celebrating at home. I'm making a steak dinner tonight. 🙂 Have a great day everyone!
02/15 179.4 Stayed within calories yesterday and macros were a bit off to enjoy valentine goodies, but overall it was a good day!
02/16 178.8 Was off yesterday and I'm back work for the weekend. Have a great day everyone!

Hi, My name is Joan. This will be my first round.
Age- 60 years young.
Height-5’3 1/2”.
OW-156# - Oct 2016
Hit Maintenance goal weight -125#- June 2017.
I set a goal weight range of 125-130, for myself. My weight’s been creeping back up. Jan 2019-135. I Do Not want to regain weight lost as I have in past; because I feel SO good at lower weight!
I just can’t let that happen!
This challenge sounds like just what I need.
CW-132.4
GW for this 10 day challenge-130
2/12-131.6. First drop in 3 weeks! “Happy Dancin”
2/13-132.4; slept crappy last night. Did the Nighttime snacking thing. But not out a control. Still under my daily cal limit. Gotta stay on plan with my eating today. My weakest is when I’m very tired and not feeling well.
2/14-132.6, weighing daily is stressing me right now. Been working hard. Hope to see a better number tomorrow.
2/15-133.0– scale is making me crazy!!! Absolutely no good reason for going up! But Im determined. Im going to do a alternating daily calorie goal to hopefully break this plateau and work on getting my water in better. IF is not an option nor Keto for me. One positive, I was so ticked this morning; I did a 45 min HIIT workout before coming to work.
2/16-131.2!!!! Go figure. Still going strong. I will succeed
2/17-130.4!!!! Now , that’s a reflection of my hard work, YES!

I'm in & soo ready for this challenge. It'll be round 3 for me. I plan on doing way better this time!
Age: 28
Height: 5ft 9 in
OSW: 185 lbs
GW: 155 lbs
Round 66: 177 (-2.6)
Round 67: 176.6 (-0.4)
Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 / 178 this morning / I'm not discouraged. It's an odd jump so I have a feeling that it will be coming back down soon. My goal for this round is 175 lbs or a little lower. I'm focused and ready.
02/13 / 176.2 / I knew a drop was coming. I just hope I can continue on this path. I've been trying my best to do the right things this round. Worked out last night so needless to say, I'm satisfied.
02/14 / 176.6 / Ate a few too many chocolate chip cookies yesterday. They're one of my weaknesses. I also definitely did not drink enough water.
02/15 / 176.6 / Ended up being only 40 under my calorie goal yesterday. I finally bought another controller for my Xbox 360, so I was able to play my Zumba game with the Kinect. Ahh.. I really missed that game. I know I burnt a lot of calories yesterday so I'm hoping to see the weight start coming down soon!
02/16 / 177
02/17 / 176.6 / Ughhh.. So frustrated with seeing 176 & 177 every day! I have to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

11/02: 165.0: Goals: Gentle exercise after my intense 2 days of strength.
Not sure if the stall/increase is because of weekend food choices, increased strength training, or both. It's sometimes a trade-off situation when one decides to work on muscle toning. Looking forward to Round 68.
Round 68 ~|~ End goal: <164
12/02: 165.1: Gaols: ✅ Hmmmm... Still plateauing. Under calories but a relative rest day after Monday exertions.
13/02: 165.1: Goals: Do grocery shopping, gym session, 9000+ steps ✅. Didn't get to gym, but did some circuits at home. Fitting in the gym is problematic this week.
14/02: 164.6: Goals: Well, there it is again! Planning a Leslie Sansone HIIT workout before I head out this afternoon✅. Did w/o plus some flex/strength. Ate most of my exercise calories on Valentine's dinner 😂 so will definitely be holding water in the morning!
15/02: 164.9: Goals: 1 hour gym session ✅ plus some walking later on today. Got in several walks outside between meetings. I'm wondering if the gym session will lead to water retention again.
16/02: 165.2: Goals: Lots of walking playing ingress with my daughters ✅ Over 270 minutes walking, 21015 steps.
17/02: 164.9: Goals: Rest day after yesterday.
THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Day/Weight/Comment
2/12 - 142
Iced in this morning but I'm hoping to get to the Y this afternoon for treadmill/bike time. I did my new weight training routine with several added machines yesterday - it now takes me 40 minutes. Feels good when I'm finished!
2/13 - 142.4
I didn't make it to the Y yesterday - didn't make it out of the house! - but I'm going now. I ate responsibly yesterday. All good. (Will be better when warmer weather arrives!)
2/14 - 142
I gave in to an urge for CheezIts last night, so salt + extra calories. Why does nibbling accompany creativity? (I'm starting a new book in a new mystery series, so I really, really want snacks! And I was writing in the back of my friend's watercolor class - creative energy everywhere - and there's a vending machine down the hall and I had just enough change and....) Time to make myself some baby carrot + hummus packets, I guess! But I digress....Today I will try valiantly to resist whatever Valentine temptations show up today - maybe one truffle? - and try to focus on other expressions of love besides (shhhhh - whisper -- chocolate...). I started baking (a new-to-me obsession) before Christmas and I'm still at it, learning to bake yeast breads among other things but I'm trying to channel the urge into soups and such. Last night I made a delish chicken/turkey pot pie, cutting the calories WAY down by using almond milk, half the butter, and skipping the bottom crust. Still comforting on a cold, raw, windy night, but only 350 calories/serving. I've never been very domestic so I don't quite know what hit me! Off to the Y to burn some of it off. Have a lovely!
2/15 - 143
Chocolate. People brought chocolate to painting group last night and I apparently no longer have any self control. then I needed something salty to counteract the sweets when I got home, so cheese....Extra time at the gym today maybe? Salad? Seriously, back to paying attention. This must stop!
2/16 - 142.4
Today's a challenge -- barbecue chicken fundraiser for lunch and a "soup & games" night with friends, which will, of course, offer more than soup. But hopefully I'll get to the Y to work a little of it off. I'm actually a bit surprised that I'm holding steady considering how much I've been eating. And although I have since reset my goal to a lower number, my original goal was 140, +/- 2 lbs, so I'm not too far out of bounds. But I'm channeling my kitchen urges into lightening up favorite recipes. I should just stay out of the kitchen for a couple of months - my hubby is much more lean with his cuisine. Have a great weekend, all!
2/17 - 142
I'm surprised, since I snacked a bit at the soup gathering last night. But I did stick to the vegetable soup, which was delicious. So I'm still hoping to be down a bit more by the end of the round. Enjoy Sunday!

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

Goals for R68: drink my water, close my circles, > 10K steps daily, journal my food. I've also cut wine back to once per week - I have a feeling this has made the biggest impact on my weight loss so far.
Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 217.0 Happy to be starting here - round 67 was good to me! Ready to put in the work to keep this going!
02/13 216.0 Today I’m on a field trip and dinner out. Praying for the determination to make good choices!
02/14 216.8 Ouch! Dinner out last night was mexican - Chips and queso gets me very time!
02/15 215.8 Added a couple glasses wine for Valentines Day, so that might show up later this week. Managed to increase my exercise yesterday, and determined to be good all weekend.
02/16 216.2 Dinner out - more chips and salsa, and a couple skinny jalapeno margaritas. 3 days off now, so double the exercise to get this back moving in the right direction. Happy Saturday!
02/17 215.2 Good day yesterday! Hit the gym, watched my eating, and went to listen to a band last night so was able to burn more calories while dancing along. My next week is pretty quiet so I'm hoping to see some good results.

2/12: 19x.x - Didn’t weigh today. Missed you all! Dropped off at the end of last round. Was out of town and flights were cancelled coming home. Back again - ready to get back to my health routine. Hope I didn’t gain too much while away - I made healthy food choices, and didn’t have more than 2 drinks a day, but didn’t track at all!
2/13: 19x.x - Forgot to weigh again 😩 Still stuck in the snow. Not meeting my goals. I am getting back to it tomorrow! Gah! Scared to step back on the scale.
2/14: 193.6 - Phew! Was so nervous about weighing after the last week. It could be worse, and I know I am retaining a lot of water right now from TOM. Maybe I actually lost weight on my trip 😱.
2/15: 191.2 - Happy dance! I am now in the “overweight” BMI and not “obese class 1.” Kids go back to school today, husband comes home from work trip, gym here I come!
2/16: 190.6 - I have now lost 20lbs. Only 50 (+/-5) to go! I keep a list of different types of milestones and it’s really motivating to cross them off as I go. Crossing 2 off 2 days in a row feels unreal.
2/17: 189.4 - New decade! I hope to never see the 190s again Lazy family day yesterday, the weather is really getting to me. Summer can’t come soon enough!

02/16 DNW - overslept - but I did start my day with a workout.
02/17 179 - ate poorly on Friday, did ok yesterday just a little over cals and no junk - also got some food prep done. I like to cook but I don't really like the planning and advance prep - but it is much easier to stay on plan if I do it - I really need to exercise more discipline on this.

Goal: finish day 25 of the 30 days of yoga challenge; walk 8,000 steps a days; start jogging (maybe?)
Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 - 140.4 lbs ; yesterday went great! I walked 8,000 steps and completed day 15 of yoga, ate just under calories.
02/13 - 139.4 lbs ; yoga and10,200 steps yesterday ☑️☑️ Super excited to be in the 130's. I can see my goal in sight. I have started taking a long walk after lunch to go get a diet 7-up at 7-Eleven, it's working as motovation!
02/14 - 140.8 ugh back up to almost where I started. I just can't regain that .2 lb. Yesterday I did fine with food but I was very sedentary because it was pouring rain, so I didn't go for a walk and I had the day off. Tonight I have a date, as it's v-day. I'm gonna have some Thai food. So actually I probably will gain back that .2 (plus more). But that's ok I want to enjoy myself. But I will still do my best to track.
02/15 140.0 lb suprised by this loss, but I'll take it!
02/16 140.0 lb. Yesterday was such a challenge. I was so tired from the night before. I have been really failing my step challenge because of this constant rain.
02/17 140.0 lb. Well I seem to be at a stand still. I thought I did everything right yesterday. I walked 10,000 steps ☑️ I completed day 20 of yoga with Adriene ☑️ I ate just under calories ☑️ I drank water ☑️. I call it all a win and I'm proud of myself. I predict these last 5 pounds will be tricky to lose. I might need to start jogging to really see results.

New to the group and this fits with what I do already (weighing self every day). Weighing everyday lets me know how much I have to push to get to my goal or what not to be eating etc.
A little about me, I am 52, 5’2” and trying to get healthy for the last time and stay this way. I have high blood pressure, cholesterol, and very low vitamin D levels. I will log everyday here but have only one day I check in with weight and it is Friday.
SW: 225.8 (2/10/19)
CW: 222 (2/14/19 Valentines challenge)
Mini Goal: is to lose 10 lbs. in 5 weeks. I decided to use this as a guide because the meal plans will have what your weight would be if you keep doing what you did on that day.
Overall Goal is to lose 105-115 lbs. (that is half my weight and will take time! I am OK with this because I will learn how to eat right, and do it the healthy way).

02/14 – 222lbs - I am feeling good because I have a more positive attitude and being more active, like to be accountable, and this will also help with it
02/15 – 220lbs – Amazed at how much the scale changes, but feeling motivated.
02/16 – 222lbs – OK with this, I was concerned because my schedule was messed up yesterday, and ate later than usual. I am not sure if this played a part in it but I am OK with it.
02/17 – 221.4 – I was up early, like midnight and could not sleep. This tends to be the times struggle with eating more than I am supposed to eat. I did nap later before shopping so feeling somewhat better. My schedule somewhat messed up today. I will remain strong, even as hubby said we will order something for lunch from Domino's. I will not, because the saturated fat in everything and sugar content. I will have salad I put together myself.

Hello! I’m new to the community. I’ve been using MFP on and off for maybe 9 months or so.
I’m trying to lose all my baby weight! My son is 3.5! The last 10-15lbs have been really hard. I keep falling off the wagon and need to stay motivated. My family recently moved back to my hometown of San Antonio and I had about 2-3weeks where I was eating a lot of takeout and not tracking. I’m starting back today and want to keep it up!

End of Round 67 - 321.4 (-7.4 lbs)
Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 - 322.6 - Eh. It's a fluctuation most likely from water. I don't mind it as long as it doesn't become a trend. I'm trying a new worksheet that my dietitian gave me to go off of for this week and see how it goes. It is designed to maximize my nutrition or my calorie intake. Overall I am feeling stronger, better, and more energized. I'm good and for the first time in a long time I can say that and mean it.
02/13 - 322.0 - So, yesterday was a rough day. I had a binge, small, but a binge and I was fine until I saw the numbers, then I wanted to purge. I cried and just saw myself ballooning to 600 lbs and more. Ed was screaming in my head to purge, purge, PURGE. Instead I spent the day doing self-care. I ditched the exercise as I couldn't trust myself to not take it to an extreme, so I rested. I hooked (crocheted) and made progress on my heart scarf that I am making just for me. I decluttered my tables in my living/dining/exercise area. I spent time snuggling with Alex the Mighty (see profile picture). I watched shows that I enjoyed on Hulu. I went to bed at a decent hour.
02/14 - 322.4 - TOM hit! 2 weeks late, but finally hit. This isn't that uncommon with PCOS. Feeling bloated and kinda blah today. I worked really hard in pulmonary rehabilitation today. I have three more sessions and then I'm done. I will graduate into my insurance's program for health in a gym. I get to choose between Planet Fitness and the YMCA. YMCA is within walking distance and Planet Fitness is just a short hop away on the bus. So, not sure which one I'll go with. I'm nervous about today. I'm going to a potluck and going to try and not freak out if I eat more than I should. So, yeah.
02/15 - 323.8 - Well, I guess the potluck got to me. I did overeat. I have no idea the total ingredients. I thought I did okay. Also with TOM no idea where my weight will finally end up being. My official weigh-in is coming up. If it is a gain, it's a gain. I'm not thrilled with the idea, but I'm getting comfortable with being okay with it. It is a part of life and my choices. I had an emotional moment this morning and had more milk than the dietitian has allotted for me to have according to this worksheet. It's lunch time, and I am going to have a nice, savory salad with grilled chicken. Life will be just as okay with gains as with losses.
02/16 - 320.4 - WHOOOOSH! Well tomorrow is my official weigh-in. I wasn't expecting this loss. We'll see what tomorrow says. I ate well yesterday. I hit most of my protein goals. That is my weak spot in my diet is hitting my protein. I can get the others just fine. I need to find ways to incorporate more protein in. I also did two episodes of Zombies, Run which was fantastic! I wasn't feeling beat down by the end of each episode, but pretty good. I'm getting stronger each day. I might try to do two again today and some strength training.
02/17 - 319.6 - Yay! I mostly stuck to the dietitian's guidelines yesterday. I had more dairy than is on the sheet. I'm doing better with finding protein choice; so that was higher yesterday. I did two episodes of Zombies, Run! yesterday. It's definitely got my attention at this point in season; it's been interesting since the first episode but lately, just wow. I may end up doing a couple of them again today to find out what's going on next. I had to do them in my apartment as there was people in the community room; so my cat spazzed and started to dart about the apartment. It was cuter and hysterical at the same time.
