And congrats on your awesome strategy and progress!
We went into the final question in 2nd place and then blew it.
Pretty typical as the final questions are notoriously difficult. But, as always, the beer was cold and the company was good.

03/25 239.2 What day am I on here? Man, internet messing up, MFP not letting me update from my phone. Grrrrr... Bumming some WiFi. New low. Down 10.6 for the first 20 days. YASSSSSSS!
03/26 238.2 Ok, hopefully seen the last of the 240's. Thinking about switching to Kg's... but 107.95 sounds a bit too light. Maybe if I do that "stones and pounds" thing. Do I have to say it with a British accent, because my Brit is pretty weak. I do a fairly good Eric Idle being a woman...
03/27 237.6 which comes out to 17 stone, or 107.8 Kg's... or on the Monty Python scale, .35 Mr Creosote, which is equal to 1.037 Cleese. Hoping to get down to an even Cleese by the end of this round.
03/287 237.0 No python fans I guess.... oh well, always look on the bright side of life. Hey, still moving in the right direction. Got a new/old road bike yesterday. Little bit of tuning up, and I'll be pedaling up to the WOD.15 -

Previous Daily Summaries23/03
Not a bad round, I have had shark week and a holiday during this round so small gain was fine with me.
25/03
Had higher than normal carbs over the weekend and had a super active weekend, burned around 5000 calories on Saturday (16km of Rowing, 20000 Steps, Digging rubble out of the garden for 2 hours and a little jogging). So expect weight will subside a little toward the end of the week.
26/03
Went a bit mad with a loaf of bread yesterday, really must remind myself there's a reason why I don't normally keep certain foods in the house. Carbs up phenomenally yesterday again so up on the scale again today. Fibre will probably take care of that tomorrow though
27/03
Bingeing has been a bit uncontrollable this week, no idea what is triggering it in the slightest. Have increased exercise quite a bit as rowing race coming up soon and also taking part in a StepBet challenge. Weight is steadily climbing - seems the more determined I become, the worse I am doing. Think I am going to take a break from food logging altogether for a while and just monitor weight for a while to keep an eye on average calorie intake.

03/24 Didn't Weigh-in
03/25 162.3 (up 17.2 lbs from Round 57 last fall) I'm back, recommitted and ready to tackle this again. I hit my highest weight ever last June and made a plan and stuck with it and lost a good amount of weight. Not enough to get to my goal, but enough that I was in a happy place, and then I got lazy with it all. I stopped tracking everything little thing, I started to go over calories, I'd skip a workout, and then stress started creeping in. I traded in tracking, eating healthy, and exercising, which work for me in managing stress to mindless calorie consumption, poor nutrition choices, and excessive alcohol consumption. A sure recipe for failure. So here I am back to what I know works...tracking every single thing, posting here for accountability, and managing my stress by making myself and my workouts a priority. I feel ready to reclaim me again.
03/26 = 161.2 (down 1.1 lbs from yesterday, still up 16.1 lbs from Round 57 end) Overall a good day yesterday! I was under in calories, in the right target zone for macros, & made healthy food choices. I did feel overly hungry all day but that is to be expected on "day 1" and I resisted all urges to sabotage and binge eat. There was 1 Coke Zero left in the refrigerator, so I did have that but other than that only water and did not have any alcohol. I had hoped to re-start my Betty Rocker workouts but I slipped on something and took a pretty hard fall in my bedroom yesterday. I'm fine(ish) but really tender and sore on my left side, so returning to running and strength training will have to wait a few more days. I plan to attempt some gentle yoga to stretch the kinks out and then soak in a hot Epsom salt bath tonight. Have a great Tuesday everyone! "Believe you can and you're halfway there".
03/27 = 160.3 (down .9 lbs from yesterday, still up 15.2 lbs from Round 57 end) Another successful day food wise! Definitely was hungry and almost gave in to the leftover pizza that was tempting me, but stayed the course & made a delicious healthy dinner instead. I actually prefer to eat healthy, it just takes my body a few days to reacclimate and then I really only crave nutritious things, I'm not a sweets person so that helps! I was still in a fair amount of pain from my fall but another dose of Aleve and a long soak in Epsom salts seems to have done the trick. Much better today! I plan to pick-up my running tomorrow and then add back in strength training the following day. I have a get together with girlfriends this evening, so I have pre-logged my day and plan to eat my healthy dinner (leftovers from last night) before going and am able to fit in 2 glasses of wine into my calorie allotment. So there should be no surprises on the scale tomorrow, fingers crossed!
03/28 = 159.8 (down .5 lbs from yesterday, still up 14.7 lbs from Round 57 end)Yay, under 160! I woke up yesterday and my cravings were gone and no noticeable hunger pains between meals. All good news there!I had a really great time with my girlfriends outing last night but did have some cheese and crackers at the event, I didn't go over in calories but ugh the gluten from the crackers makes me feel this morning like I did. Going to eat very clean today, to try to recover from that yucky feeling. And hoping I can get out for a short run today, as I made plans with some friends last night to run a half-marathon in the summer.

03/24 - 177.5 My body must love to weigh 177 pounds because I've been around here for 40 damn days. Demotivating. I know it's a plateau and I'll get through it, it's my mantra these days.
03/25 - 176.3 Well that's nice for a change. I didn't walk all weekend and at around 1700 calories (adjusting for exercise) for the last week. Now that I'm finally down a tiny bit, do I keep with the 1700 or do I go back down?
03/26 - No scale Travel time again. Drove over last night, stopped at the Katy Trail for a 3 mile walk. It was beautiful. I walked over the Missouri river that is very high, several dams have broken north of here. I took some pics. I'm going to check it again when I drive home tomorrow, see how high its gotten in 2 days. I ended up at 1445 yesterday. MFP tells me 1440 is my calorie goal, so pretty darn close. NSV ALERT: I tried wrapping one of the tiny hotel towels around me and it went around me. I was able to tuck in the corner and half my body wasn't exposed - nothing was exposed. I've been so frustrated with this process this felt like a big win. Gym tonight and and three + on the trail tomorrow. Even if I'm not losing weight I have to be healthier with all this exercise.
03/27 - No Scale Yesterday went well work wise, calorie wise, and exercise wise. Can't ask for more than that. The weather was so nice that I went for a walk instead of weights at the gym. It was a little less interesting than walking over a flooded river but still neat. I got a good pic of the sun through some flooded woods. Every creek/lake is high so there is water everywhere. I know I'm up today, I can tell by the way my rings fit - I'm retaining water. Between travel and eating out (sodium bombs everywhere) I cannot seem to stop retaining water.
03/28 - 175.5 Nobody speak too loudly, I'm at my round goal with 5 days left. Maybe if we're quiet I won't go back up significantly. I did not end up walking on the bridge but instead waited until I got home and walked with an old friend. We had a nice easy stroll. I'm down and happy about it. Supposed to rain tonight so I'll go do weights at the gym.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

03/27 153.9 today will be my third day in a row of spinning class. I haven’t noticed any difference on scale yet, so hoping that will come soon. March has been difficult because I had a ton of work and social functions so really looking forward to a April when life calms down a bit.
03/28 152.8 new lowest weight! I couldn’t believe seeing this number on the scale, but checked twice to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. Just .2 lbs away from 20 lbs total weight loss from when I started and solidly in size 12 clothing. I tried on my dresses yesterday and will be able to donate the size 16 (around 5 dresses, which felt good). I also just moved out of 29 BMI to a 28 number, so one number closer to 24.9

03/24 347.4. I’m a little surprised at this woosh, I’ll see if it stays. I’m certain tom is starting sometime soon and I usually see a little upswing then, but hopefully I’ll still be solidly in the 340s. My nsv yesterday was staying in calorie goal despite feeling hungry a portion of the day.
03/25 347.8 Not unexpected I had a higher sodium day yesterday and I’m not sure that I got in all my water. I have both a sick kid and a kid who fell skateboarding, she’s okay just bruised, so yesterday was a little rough and it will be a rough day today. My nsv yesterday was not having any of the snacks that my husband picked up to deal with his stress.
03/26 347.2 Looks like I’m really in the 340’s, at least for now. I’ve not only reached my goal for this month, but if this trend continues I’ll be several pounds under where I had hoped to be. My nsv was not having a single bit of the high calorie snacks that my husband got.
03/27 347.8 I’m not surprised by a little gain I took a couple of longer walks yesterday. Both were further than I normally walk, the second one was nearly double the first. I’m feeling those walks this morning so I’m certain that it’s all water and I’ll see my usual pound drop after a bounce around in a day or two. My nsv yesterday were the walks outside, I’m really proud of myself for getting out and doing them.
03/28. 348 Tom should be here soon, I’ve been feeling cramps since last night. I expect once that’s over I’ll see some drops.

03/24 - No Scale (driving back from Vegas today without a weigh in this morning. I went to bed last night (or this morning) at 445am and I’m exhausted! Friday and Saturday I walked 25000 steps EACH day and I’m not sure how I still have feet! I count those two days as active so I hope the scale isn’t too bad tomorrow morning with all the food I had.)
03/25 - 200.6 (I'm happy I only gained a whole pound during my weekend away, which is a first for me. I usually gain around 5 pounds! All that walking truly helped. Last night I took naps and relaxed so I'm able to wake up to go to work so I did not do a workout. I had some Mandarin chicken, rice and broccoli for dinner last night.)
03/26 -199.4 (I officially lost all the weight I gained from my weekend getaway and it only took a dayLast night I did a 20 minute elliptical HIIT workout. I was supposed to do a core workout last night too, but I was too busy grocery shopping, making dinner and helping the hubby study for his macroeconomics test that's due this week. I made some Philly cheesesteak pitas with chips for dinner last night!)
03/27 - 198.6 (The scale is going in the right direction! I've been having issues with a canker sore that has really been painful and difficult to eat. I stayed on target last night with my calories even though I really didn't want to eat since it's the side that I usually put food at. It really is difficult to eat on the other side! I made pasta with sauce and a poppyseed chicken casserole. I also did a 45 minute elliptical workout. It was difficult to push through yesterday!)
03/28 -198.2 (I had a great day yesterday! Ate on my plan and had some relaxation for the middle of the week. I did a core workout that I was supposed to do on Monday and had dinner ready in the crockpot. I made some chicken tacos with black beans. I'm hoping tomorrow I can make my goal since I'm so close!)

03/24 205.5 Had barn day yesterday. Put in almost 13k steps but probably negated it with Mexican lunch and a huge margarita. Need to start daily bike riding or walking again.
03/25 DNW I was running late this morning (on purpose) and was dressed before I realized I hadn’t weighed in. Need to track, track, track to get myself back in the habit.
03/26 206.7 Stressed out to the max. Do really good with eating at work but lose absolute control at home. Never fails. First horse show of the year starts next Wednesday. Let’s hope my chaps fit. Ugh!
03/27 209.5 Let's try this again. I had already posted for today but apparently my Dad's laptop has a mind of it's own and I lost it all. I weighed in this morning in my work uniform. It was just easier than zooming downstairs in my skivvies and then going back up to get ready for work. It'll even itself out as I get into a routine. I am still not logging 100% of what I put in my mouth but I am always a work-in-progress.
03/28 207.? So I use a Fitbit Aria scale and I noticed that it did not sync my weight from this morning. But I swear I saw 207 something so I'll take that. Last night I did get OUTSIDE for a 1-mile walk. It felt GREAT to be outside and I cannot wait to do it again. It's supposed to be warmer today but I think it's going to rain. Boo! I did better on my tracking until I grabbed that cookie on my way up to bed. Grandma being at our house has REALLY stressed me out. She does NOT shut up while we sit quietly and watch evening television. Unfortunately, my ability to just tolerate or tune her out has decreased enough that I just want to lash out at her and then it gets ugly. Then all I want to do is eat! Ugh! #FamilyProblems

Focusing on me this round (never easy with 6 kids, 2 kids still at home, 6 grandkids, upcoming cheer comp and a permanently busy life! No major social events the next 10 days that should throw me off - although it is Mothers Day here in the UK next Sunday and the round does take in two weekends so need to stay focused through that. So here goes!
My target for the round is to lose a pound and finish mid 148's ............
Round start 149.7
03/24 - DNW - was my turn for a Sunday morning cup of tea in bed! At a quiz night last night where although I allowed for it in my calories for the day I did have salty snacks - doritos, olives etc and drank a ton of very gassy sparkling water so I know weight will be up and will take a few days to recover
03/25 -152.8lb up 3.1lb which is not possible but down to Sunday roast last night and hang over from Saturdays nights salty snacks. Scales may not reflect it but I know why they are up and it will be a temporary blip. Still no TOM (12 days over now!) and bloatedness still hanging around but despite all this feeling good about where my head is at and looking froward to this round to make some progress!
03/26 - 151.6lb down 1.2lb - in the right direction so will happily take that for today and hopefully keep heading in this direction! Food all planned and ready for the day and a gym session tonight - and as that is all done, water is now my focus for today
03/27 - 151.6 +0.0 - stayed the same which is OK as its not upGood food day planned , good gym session last night and TOM finally decided to arrive. Clocks go forward this weekend and so the lighter evenings will be upon us which always gives me a massive boost mentally. Continuing the quest to go down...........
03/28 - 151.3 -0.3lb - bit lower. Slow and steady..... Day planned to be within calories but going to be carb heavy (working lunch today which involved sandwiches and we have home made burgers tonight) so may not reflect well on the scales tomorrow. But still hoping... Gym session tonight, been guzzling away on the water and green tea today so all good there - macros need some work by the looks of it

Day/Weight/Comment
03/24 — 193.3– I had a small sweet coffee filled with chocolate and sugar. Happy that didn’t cause weight gain. Back on plan today.
03/25 — 192.4 — Had a medium, very sweet coffee today. The rest of the day was on plan.
03/26 — 192.7 — Getting back on plan today.
03/27 — 192.1 — Husband decided to get Subway sandwiches for dinner last night. So proud of myself that I passed that up and made myself a healthy dinner (and saved money). I know they have some healthy choices, but I like knowing exactly what I am eating.
03/28 — 191.3 — Made goal for this round. 😃 Hope to lose more. Sometimes I think the little cheats actually help.

So back again for another one. Round 71 I went back and forth between 151 and 150. I expected a pretty good whoosh all week but never saw it. I’m just staying on track and hoping for the best next week. Hoping to finally get back into the 140’s by the end of this round.
Day Weight Comment
03/24 - 150.9 so no whoosh yet. We have our weekly family meal today so hoping for the best tomorrow. Holding steady so far through the weekend. Come on 149 something!
03/25 - 153.6 and there is my Sunday family dinner gain! 2.7 pounds, uuugggh. My husband decided he was going to grill some t-bones last night and they were amazing. We also had grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes with it. Then I decided I needed a couple of mini butterfingers. So the weight is well deserved, I am assuming mostly carbs and food still in my stomach. Anytime I eat steak it stays with me for a couple of days. Had a great Sunday though and back to eating clean today. Looking for that 149 sometime this round.
03/26 - 152.1 Got to love sodium and carbs. Should be back down tomorrow and back on track for a loss by Friday. Have all my meals planned for today and should stay under calories again. Pushing to see that 149 this week!
03/27 - 151.1 am almost back to my starting weight for the round. I was only a couple of ounces away from where I was. The scale flashed 150.7 and then stuck on 151.1. I got off and on a couple of times to try and make 150.7 stick, but it didn't, so I will have to settle for this, lol. Still not feeling 100%, allergies are killing me and now I have no voice. So just trying to drink my water and tea and get through the day. I have a roast in the crock pot for dinner tonight, so that should make tonight easier and I can get some rest.
03/28 - 152.1 no idea why it's up. Ate under calories yesterday and didn't have any late night snacking. Ate a little bit of roast for dinner and a big salad for my side. No mashed potatoes, roll or dessert. Woke up with a really dry mouth this morning, so maybe I am just dehydrated from allergy pills. Going to try and drink more water today and see what the scale says tomorrow. I see another 10 day round of floating around 150-152. Not giving up, but 149 may be in the next round. I think my body is anti-weighing under 150, lol.

03/28 - 158 - I skipped dinner last night, I lunched at 3 and wasn't hungry until late, I thought it would be better to skip dinner than eat a meal right before bed. My weight is heading in the right direction overall, but man is this process slow! I'm not on track to reach 155 by April 1st, so I changed my goal to 157. I also adjusted my May 17th goal from 145 to 149. It would be fantastic to be in the 140s by May!
