I'm flipping hungry. Jump starting my weight loss with JJ's Green Smoothie 10-Day Cleanse and on Day 7. Awesome thing about it is that with thinking about drinking water to feel full, and how to get my workout in, I haven't given much thought to how bad I want a beer.

I got a little sloppy last round and it showed in a lower weight loss than previous rounds. I want to nip in the bud a few bad habits that I’ve begun to fall back into so that I stay on track with my weight loss.

04/03 346.2 Well that’s a nice start to the round. My nsv yesterday was a long walk outside. I managed 2100 steps in a single walk and will be working towards doing it twice a day by the end of the month.

04/04 347 Bounce, water retention from a late quick dinner because I forgot to plug in my crockpot. I also took my walk late. I’m sure it will drop again.

04/05 345 There’s that big drop I knew was coming and hopefully I’ll see a few small drops this round too.

04/04 197 - Looks like I'm still on track with losing the initial water weight. I know it'll slow down, but it's encouraging to see this right now.

04/05 197.4 - The usual uptick. I'm annoyed, but I need to remind myself that the upticks happen and as long as the trend is downward, it'll be fine. I just hate how hard it is on these meds.

04/03: 197.4 (A slight decrease, which is awesome! I did a core workout and made some vegetable soup with grilled cheese last night. I was so exhausted that I went to bed early. My energy level has been at a decline this week and I'm not sure why!)

04/04: 196.2 (This is a great drop! I haven't been this weight since November of 2015! I've restarted many many times, but at that time I went through a breakup in February of 2015 and lost wayyyy too much in an unhealthy way. I'm more motivated than ever and I hope it continues! Last night I did a 20 minute HIIT elliptical workout and ate some Cuban chicken, black beans and rice!)

04/05: 195.2 (I’m literally in shock! I didn’t do a workout last night and had steak with rice and peas for dinner. We also went to a celebration of life and I had a tiny bit of treats but nothing too crazy. I lost 1.8 pounds since last Friday and I’m thinking I’ve been overestimating calories? We’ll see if this trend continues since I have it set to 1.5 pounds a week.)

04/03 …..189.6 ….. Those bits & pieces of calorie deficit & low carb each day finally added up to over a pound loss on the scale. Now I just need to stay focused. 1059 Calories In/2865 Calories Out. 8 Net Carbs. 17,881 Total Steps with a busy work day & a planned long walk. 8.56 Total Miles. IF 12:12 . 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 54 minutes. I took a long moderately paced walk totaling 150 minutes. I did not eat back my 717 Calorie burn for the walk. Another busy day at work. I must take the time to pre-plan my food so I don’t “grab & go”. That always ends in a nighttime binge & an overall disaster. Not today, nope, not today. Determined.

04/04 …..188.8 ….. More improvement. Such a busy work day yesterday with no time for planned exercise, but I was on my feet a lot for sure! Today will be even busier. I started spring cleaning in one of the cabins. EVERYTHING comes out, including furniture. Wall washing today! Yesterday’s stats: 1234 Calories In / 2601 Calories Out. 13,188 Total Steps & 5.58 Total Miles. IF 12:12 . Today I will go back to 16:8 in fasting as I was working on a metabolism reset. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 13 minutes. Yesterday was another good eating day which paid off!

04/05 …..189.8 ….. Just not good at all. Worked physically hard yesterday but mostly not a lot of walking. Spring cleaning a cabin which I will complete today. Horrible stats for yesterday due to a binge late night. Best estimate on MFP food journal: 2340 Calories In / 2549 Calories out. 201 Net Carbs. 10,130 Total Steps & 4.31 Total Miles. IF 16:8 . 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 6 hours & 6 minutes which was probably a sugar crash. This is how it works & no amount of wishful thinking or regret can change it. Only I can through my actions. I’ll never give up.

@mrs_sutsiemrs_sutsie It looks like we both finally broke through and are neck and neck with our weights. Losing weight is so crazy sometimes!

04/03 232.6 . Whole family is working on our sleep hygiene. Think benefits for me could be reduced stress and fatigue which lead to emotional eating. Went to bed early last night but did not sleep well. Have a habit of stopping for a 32 oz iced tea on the way home from work and this is likely sabotaging my sleep quality.

04/04 232.1 Didn't have any caffeine yesterday! Wasn't feeling well last night. Think I have a recurring ulcer.

04/05 232.6 (forgot to weigh before breakfast) Had a rare lunch meeting at a restaurant yesterday. Very hard for me to guess the calorie content. Started listening to the “Losing 100 Pounds with Phat and Phit” podcast and enjoying it so far. I have a 40 min commute and have my main opportunities to overeat in the evening, so listening to a health podcast might help keep me focused on my goals.

04/05--211.2 About 1 year ago my husband promised to take dance lessons with me. For the past year he has tried to get out of his promise, but I recently found an intro 4 week dance class that I thought would be perfect for us because it's only 4 weeks and we get to learn a different dance every week. My husband agreed to take the class and tonight is our first lesson...we'll see how it goes.

04/04 - 142.5 - dropped .3 in a day, not too bad, that would be 3lbs by the end of this if I can keep it up.
04/05 - 141.6 - dropped .9 maybe going a little too fast. Didn’t quite reach my calorie goal yesterday but one day doesn’t hurt. I’ll try to be closer today.

What style dancing are you doing?
For 30 years my husband refused to come to dancing lessons with me saying it wasn't his thing! Then 10 years ago he surprised me at Christmas by finding out about totally beginner ballroom and Latin dance lessons, just 45 minutes once per week. I was totally gobsmacked! We went, we both enjoyed it and we've been doing it ever since.
It's so nice to be able to get up and do a waltz or quickstep etc at weddings and family parties.
So hope you both enjoy it xx.

04/03 - 283.4 - I completed week 1, day 2 of Zombies, Run! couch to 5K training. I was able to do some longer runs on the free form run at the end; whereas on Monday I was so exhausted I just walked at the end. I have had a busy day. Food has been good, but a little short on breakfast.
04/04 - 282.6 - Yes! Day 2 of a drop. I will do some more walking later doing another episode of Zombies, Run! I had a good breakfast. I have changed up my apples for Halos. I tried a new flavor of yogurt this morning too. It was pretty good. Nutrition class was interesting. We talked about spices and what goes best with what. Looking forward to the rest of the day.
04/05 - 280.0 - WHOOSH! Well, now that was unexpected. Today is a fasting day, just two more after today. I will do an episode of Zombies, Run! later tonight after dinner. I walked to Transitions and back, but don't want to do too much without food in my stomach to keep my blood sugar from dropping too low.

04/03--211.6 Great workout with trainer yesterday. Yoga tonight. I'm also supposed to go out and do a 2 mile run, but there is rain in the forecast and I hate running on a treadmill...whether I go out for a run will be a last minute decision.
04/04--211.4 Rain held out yesterday so I was able to go out for a run. Worked out with trainer tonight.
04/05--211.2 About 1 year ago my husband promised to take dance lessons with me. For the past year he has tried to get out of his promise, but I recently found an intro 4 week dance class that I thought would be perfect for us because it's only 4 weeks and we get to learn a different dance every week. My husband agreed to take the class and tonight is our first lesson...we'll see how it goes.

What style dancing are you doing?
For 30 years my husband refused to come to dancing lessons with me saying it wasn't his thing! Then 10 years ago he surprised me at Christmas by finding out about totally beginner ballroom and Latin dance lessons, just 45 minutes once per week. I was totally gobsmacked! We went, we both enjoyed it and we've been doing it ever since.
It's so nice to be able to get up and do a waltz or quickstep etc at weddings and family parties.
So hope you both enjoy it xx.

4/3 - 182.0 - Was home with a sick kiddo so my whole workout schedule got pushed out and I have to work out after work instead of at lunch, but I'm not skipping any of my workouts!! lifted weights last night and yoga/pilates class tonight!
4/4 - 182.6 - Stayed within my calories, but I ate late bc of yoga. Last week I had an uptick after this as well. Also focusing on drinking my water today. Lifted Weights.
4/5 - 182.7 - Still hanging around here. Waiting on my whoosh! I couldn't do any hour long walks this week due to making up hours at work. Hope to get a little walk in this evening and can't wait to get back in my normal routine this weekend and next week. Think it will help a lot.

Going to give this weight loss thing a go again. Dropped down to a goal weight much faster than I expected the first time with careful MFP logging and Fitbit. But I started at a slightly lower weight and I was a few years younger. Haven’t really done anything other than suspect I’m gaining over the past three years. And today stepped on the scale to confirm the facts. Too much work, too little attention to taking care of me (and too much junk food). Need to make inroads, even if small to ease in, starting NOW.
