Personally I do not drink but I keep a nicely stocked bar for my in-laws.

Knob Creek and Gentleman Jack, sometimes I will have some single barrel Jack just depends on whether or not I remember when I am in the store to buy it.

Right now my bar looks like this,
Vodka: Grey Goose, Grey Goose orange, and Ciroc Peach
Whiskey, Gentleman Jack and Knob Creek
    Tequila: Cabo Wabo repasado
    Rum: Captain Morgan's private reserve
    Gin: Bombay Sapphire

Not a poorly stocked bar but it lasts a long long time since I rarely drink and now both my wife and I are cutting so there is no room in the macro/micros for any alcohol. Shoot I don't even give up a single calorie to any liquids except meal replacement shakes

Whiskey, hands down - Jamison or Jim alone or an Urban Cowboy - layered with Jack, Yukon Jack and SoCo... Good and dangerous :)

    ardbeg-bottle.jpg

Smells like burning hell and seaweed. Taste is amazing.

And has the power to clear a room in the blink of an eye.

Link disappeared and can't edit posts after an hour anymore...

Pic was of Ardbeg Ten. But I'll take any of the Islays...

Bourbon, I like Woodford and Maker's.

Irish? Redbreast is pretty damn good.

Has anyone here ever tried Zwack? It's a Hungarian herbal liquor. I've been curious about it but haven't tried it. It's the "official shot of Hungary" made with 40 different herbs and spices.

    Interesting history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zwack_liqueur

aren't bourbon and scotch both whiskey?

so i think this is a trick question....

regardless, I like the Gentlemen Jack. I like Crown, I like Wild Turkey and Johnny Walker (all colors of labels)

But I will drink most anything. It's not like I'm a snob

I think lush is the word you're looking for

could be. i have a hard time thinking because i'm drunk

Angel's Envy is pretty good, though I'm not sure if it lives up to all they hype. If I'm spending over 50 on bourbon I'd rather go Jeffersons Reserve myself.

As an Irish Girl I am sad to say that pretty much the moment I turned 35 Jamison stopped longer agreeging with me. I have learned that I enjoy (and it likes me back) Woodford reserve, and am still looking for others i like.

 a tear shed for you no longer being able to enjoy the Jameson

If you like the Woodford Reserve, you may want to try Buffalo Trace or Four Roses. :drinker:

Always scotch. The peaty-est Lagavulin or Highlank Park you have. I want it to taste like it's been rolling around in the dirt, please.

A Lagavulin is always a good bet. As is trying a new Bruichladdich, of which there seem to be 20 new variants every time I drop into my local whisky specialist. Can't keep up anymore.
