07/02 192.8 – 4th day at this weight. Time to focus and start moving down again! Walked for an hour this morning and got some gardening done despite the heat. Good food choices and good hydration today. I feel like I’m off to a good start 😊
07/03 192.2 – Nice to see a drop going into the long weekend. It was already steamy at 6 AM, so did some chores in the house instead of walking and spent the afternoon in the pool with the kids. My older grandson helped make dinner – lemon pepper salmon, one of his favorite dishes. Came in under my calorie limit even with a glass of wine and a scoop of gelato. Need to get in a little more water this evening to compensate for the alcohol.
07/04 190.8 – Happy 4th! Cooked up a big pot of ratatouille this morning and readied the yard for guests. Lots of fruits and veggies on the menu (along with the high-salt and high calorie offerings), so hopefully today’s BBQ won’t set me back too far.
07/05 191.8 – Not surprised to see a bounce today. Yesterday was busy – no time to walk, but hosting kept me moving a good part of the day. It also kept me from snacking. Overdid it a bit at dinner, but I still managed a small calorie deficit and good hydration. I’ve got some clean-up to do this morning, and then maybe I’ll hit some of the holiday sales to look for a new swimsuit to replace a couple that are embarrassingly stretched out.
07/06 191.8 – On the upside, I stayed under my calorie limit and had plenty of water Swimsuit shopping was a non-starter after I discovered water pooling in the cabinet under my kitchen sink That was after I dropped and broke the bowl to my salad spinner and before the thunderstorm forecast nixed my planned walk Made a lovely dinner with extra for today’s lunch but woke up this morning to discover I’d left the main part out on the counter Dragging a bit, but hoping to make this a better day
07/07 192.4 – Lazy day yesterday. Family party today. The heat and humidity finally dropped and I was able to get out and walk for 90 min this evening.
07/08 191.0 – That’s looking better. Up extra early for the first day of summer classes. Tempted to take a nap when I got home, but rallied for a bookstore trip with my grandsons. The rainy morning had turned into a delightfully sunny and mild afternoon, so we all sat outside and read for a while. Light dinner and a brisk evening walk to round out the day. Met my goals for calories, exercise and hydration.
07/09 191.0 – Gorgeous day! Did some gardening after class before the grandkids came over to swim. After dinner and ice cream, we went for a firefly walk in the park. The boys were energized by the cool evening and the novelty of the park at sunset. The fireflies were lovely, but I think they most enjoyed seeing the bats fly overhead! Goals met again, so I’m feeling good going into the home stretch.
07/10 190.2 – Happy to see that weekend bump gone! Lunch out and Farmers’ Market this afternoon. Couldn’t resist the apple cider donut, but no guilt because it fit within my calories. Oppressive heat and an air quality alert, so no walk tonight. Staying hydrated, but I think the heat and humidity are depressing my appetite. Thunderstorms predicted for tomorrow. Hopefully they’ll bring some relief!
07/11 190.4 – Little blip, but I’ll take it! Met my goals today, exercising in the pool after class. Thunderstorms arrived this evening, cooling things off and bringing some much-needed rain to my garden and lawn.
Overall, this has been a great round. I was able to get more walking in, kept hydrated, and stayed under my calorie limit 9/10 days. I lost a little more than expected this time – a nice surprise. More importantly, I’m feeling good, both physically and mentally. Thanks Jackie for posting this challenge! And thanks to all of you for sharing the journey!

07/02: WEIGHT: 244 Great day to see this post. So excited to do this because I am on a time crunch to lose 15lbs! GOAL: 15lbs in 3 weeks. If I don't meet this goal I will not be able to Skydive over the Gulf of Mexico this summer. I am motivated but worried the things I am doing isn't going to cut it. I hope this daily tracker helps!
07/03: WEIGHT: 242(started at 248)...So I stepped on the scale this AM and the scale had jumped 5lbs...I did start my monthly this morning(so IDK..). It prompted me to kick my workout into higher gear. I am happy with the end result today!
07/04: 240, I didn't do my daily exercise but I didn't eat anything but an egg for breakfast. I know thats not good for me but hey my weigh in was perfect!
07/05: 240 I ate more today. I was still in the negative for calorie intake vs calories burned. But no change...I guess I need to pump up the volume...lol...increase my workout.
07/06: WEIGHT: 238! YAY YAY YAY! so far so good....I know Im gonna plateau at some point but we will cross that bridge when we get there!
07/07: WEIGHT: 238. I ate too much and I had half a Little Debbie snack cake...eeek....thankfully I woke up at the same weight as yesterday and nothing more.
07/08: Weight: 240 I think the enriched white wheat flour or whatever its called from the debbie cake made me bloated.
07/09: Weight back to 238...whew!
07/10: 238: but I ate Olive Garden After and ordered the regular carb tiramisu instead of the low carb one...oops...
07/11: Final weigh in at 238 due to family emergency...its been hard to exercise at the hospital7 -

7/1 135.8 Canada day and family barbecue. It was a definite binge day and as much as I hate to start the month off on a bad note, it's also a good time for a restart (as always) 0/31
7/2 138.8 sounds about right, today was definitley better than this weekend has been. 1/31
7/3 138.8 weird, i had a good day and that usually means a drop, at the same time I know shark week will start in a couple of days, which explains last week hunger episodes. 2/31 accomplished
7/4 didn't weigh in. Woke up with terrible cramps, shark week has arrived. Today was a good day, even got some grocery shopping done after work so I could continue with my meal prep 3/31 accomplished

7/6 139.2 it is going to be a rough weekend...I am expecting a gain 3/31
7/7 139.0 it's been an awful weekend as expected. I am dissapoined with myself. I have my meals pre planned for the week to turn it all around. I am also beginning to see how this work schedule mixed with after work eating habits can potentially become a slippery slope for my weight and I am really going to have to begin again. I want to promise myself diligence, i want to promise myself a restart and actually do it. I am tired of disappointing myself so no more. I can do it! 4/31
7/8 140.8 the weekend is over and the restart commences. I am done eating out and I am ready to start getting back to my usual work out. For the past month I have worked out maybe 3x... my job is active and being a new place (opened the day I started) they haven't hired any staff besides me and one other person, which makes my hours crazy (did 115 hours in two weeks...Not counting the times I didn't get paid because I went in on my "free time" to make sure inventory and prep was completed) it made it difficult to eat at work and even more difficult to not over indulge when i left. Healthier options or not this is a slippery slope and I need to readjust so this doesn't continue upwards. It's been a month at my new job and things are finally starting to be more organized so I don't see any issue with actually accomplishing my restart...either way wish me luck 5/31 accomplished
7/9 139 today was my second day off in a month. I got some workouts in, slept and ate healthy home cooked meals. I am so happy I slept, I have been having the worst sleep ever so I needed this. 6/31 accomplished

7/02 - Did not weigh - 8am, too early. My last meal was 10:30pm last night. I need to tame my fasting and eating schedule, so that I can get a true weight early in the morning. 55g carbs, 51g net carbs. Carbs were: crackers, onions, peanut butter, spinach.
7/3 - 180.4 - Early weigh in. I am holding a lot of fluid, from carbs and not drinking enough water. Only 64 ozs daily for the past 2 weeks.
7/4 - 179.4 - 38g carbs, 35g net carbs. Carbs were: salad, crackers, spinach.
7/5 - 179.8 - 50g carbs, 39g net carbs. Carbs were: spinach, asparagus, hamburger roll, French fries.
7/6 - 179.6 - 45g carbs, 40g net carbs. Carbs were: hamburger roll, salad, salad dressing, broccoli slaw.
7/7 - 55g carbs, 52g net carbs. Carbs were: pretzels, salad, hamburger roll, onion, 1tsp fish fry mix.
7/8 - 16g carbs, 12g net carbs. Carbs were: spinach, peanut butter.
7/9 - 28g carbs, 22g net carbs. Carbs were: salad, salad dressing, peanut butter onion, sweet pepper.

07/10- 223.2 Yay, no longer retaining water! Still recovering from cold. Made myself some Keto comfort food. Lemon pound cake (yum!) and bagels (for breakfast today when I break my fast)
