July 31 - 205.4 - Keto day 3. Still have a headache
Aug 1 - 205.4 - Staying the same is better than gaining! Still have a headache that is unrelenting. Caffeine and OTC stuff dull it some but not a lot. Hopefully this wont happen for much longer. I'm hoping to make it under 200 this month. So gotta stay focused!
Aug 2 - 205.6 - Headache is gone! Did well yesterday and stayed with my goals. My headache was still bothering me then and I was so tired that I didn't exercise. I will tonight though since I'm feeling better. I'm still confused as to why I'm not losing with the carb cutting. Not enough calories is my biggest guess. I was having a hard time getting past 1100. I will give it another week (with higher calorie count) and if nothing is happening I'll increase my carb intake some too and see if that helps. Cause I was losing okay prior to keto, I just wanted to give it a try again. So I guess I'll see. Tonight's takeout night. It's either gonna be Carl's jr or mcdonalds and I can make those work. Gonna be hard to say no to fries though!
Aug 3 - 204.8 - Yay! I'm officially 10.2lbs down since I started back in late May early June. 7lbs just in the last 2 months. I ate almost all my calories for the day and then walked on the treadmill for 45 min. I did good with dinner, I got a lettuce wrapped burger. Though I did (without even thinking) snag 1 french fry from my youngest. But I still did good!
Aug 4 - 202.8 - Ate very light yesterday (had a busy day) but still was able to make okay choices. Had hotdogs for dinner, had some pistachios, pork rinds, handful of peanuts and 2 cheese sticks. I mostly snacked all day, but I was never once hungry. Today I will prep my lunches for the week. Over the first 6 days of keto, I've lost 4lbs. I'm gonna keep going for another week like I promised myself and see where I get.
Aug 5 - 202.0 - Down another .08lbs. I'm so close to 199! Today I've ate more, but still low on carbs. Hopefully there will be no gain, but I'll just have to deal with it if there is. I'm so excited to finally be losing. I've lost 13lbs total, and I had someone notice that I was losing weight today! That really gave me a boost and will keep me going! I can say that I am not hungry at all today! Real test will be tonight when I get home..I'll need to not raid the pantry. I'll be using the treadmill tonight and will aim to use it all this week.
Aug 6 - 202.6 - up a little, which is to be expected because I ate more. I walked for 45 minutes tonight. I find if I read a book and walk it makes the time fly by. I have less calories planned today, but I'm still eating a bunch. I'm so close to onederland...I cant wait.
Aug 7 - 202.0 - Back down I go! Little by little I will get there. Next stop 201s! I had a bagel today. First bread I have had in a week and a half. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I'm not missing carbs as much as I thought I would.
Aug 08 - 202.8 - Back up again, but that's okay. Walked for another 35 min last night too. Today has been good so far. Here's to hoping the scale goes down!
Aug 9 - 202.4 - Down some! Today was not a good day food choice wise and the scale will reflect that come morning. I'm going to need to refocus myself and get back to it! I'm so close to onederland again. Just need to set my mind to it and get it done!
Aug 10 - 205.8 - Really bad choices and falling off the Keto wagon hard = weight gain. I do have to say though, eating more carbs, bread in particular really messed with my stomach. Within 20 min of eating it, I had intestinal cramping. This week I'm gonna go back to more of a low carb approach. I'll keep my carbs under 75, and hopefully that will keep me from falling off the wagon.
Aug 11 - 205.0 - I've recovered some. Hopefully I can get myself back to where I was. I'm disappointed in myself, but all I can do is get up and get going again. I'd really like to get as close to 199 that I can by the end of the month. Still have almost 3 weeks to get it done.
Aug 12-19 - 206.2 - Fell off the wagon hard. Today was my restart day. I still have a few weeks to get myself as close to 199 as possible!
Aug 20 - 204.6 - My good day yesterday was a success. Today has been really good too. While I didn't use the treadmill like I wanted to last night, I still woke up with a loss. Hopefully I can keep it up!3 -

2 Aug - 145.8 extra rest last night. Still need more cardio during the day.

4 Aug - 147.0 went out to eat. There was a driver k or two. Definitely water weight. (Starting insanity again, as burn phase)
5 Aug - 146.2 started insanity yesterday, was stricter on my diet, plenty of water. Still frustrated. Need to remember to keep doing what I'm doing and I'll get there.

@evangelene12 I have the same issue. Stress=food and alcohol for me. I need to learn new ways of coping, but it's so hard sometimes and I haven't quite learned another way yet. I'm hoping you figure something out for yourself.0 -

This is because I've been weighing myself on a scale at work. (I dont think they'd appriciate me stripping down the the ladies restroom for a naked weigh LOL!!) I might change that... I use what is called and "expression station" at work 2X a day. It's for breast feeding mothers who need to pump while at work. The room is private and lockable. So if I bring my own scale in to keep in there I could do naked weights after pumping.... entertaining the idea for sure.

July 31 - 205.4 - Keto day 3. Still have a headache
Aug 1 - 205.4 - Staying the same is better than gaining! Still have a headache that is unrelenting. Caffeine and OTC stuff dull it some but not a lot. Hopefully this wont happen for much longer. I'm hoping to make it under 200 this month. So gotta stay focused!
Aug 2 - 205.6 - Headache is gone! Did well yesterday and stayed with my goals. My headache was still bothering me then and I was so tired that I didn't exercise. I will tonight though since I'm feeling better. I'm still confused as to why I'm not losing with the carb cutting. Not enough calories is my biggest guess. I was having a hard time getting past 1100. I will give it another week (with higher calorie count) and if nothing is happening I'll increase my carb intake some too and see if that helps. Cause I was losing okay prior to keto, I just wanted to give it a try again. So I guess I'll see. Tonight's takeout night. It's either gonna be Carl's jr or mcdonalds and I can make those work. Gonna be hard to say no to fries though!
Aug 3 - 204.8 - Yay! I'm officially 10.2lbs down since I started back in late May early June. 7lbs just in the last 2 months. I ate almost all my calories for the day and then walked on the treadmill for 45 min. I did good with dinner, I got a lettuce wrapped burger. Though I did (without even thinking) snag 1 french fry from my youngest. But I still did good!
Aug 4 - 202.8 - Ate very light yesterday (had a busy day) but still was able to make okay choices. Had hotdogs for dinner, had some pistachios, pork rinds, handful of peanuts and 2 cheese sticks. I mostly snacked all day, but I was never once hungry. Today I will prep my lunches for the week. Over the first 6 days of keto, I've lost 4lbs. I'm gonna keep going for another week like I promised myself and see where I get.
Aug 5 - 202.0 - Down another .08lbs. I'm so close to 199! Today I've ate more, but still low on carbs. Hopefully there will be no gain, but I'll just have to deal with it if there is. I'm so excited to finally be losing. I've lost 13lbs total, and I had someone notice that I was losing weight today! That really gave me a boost and will keep me going! I can say that I am not hungry at all today! Real test will be tonight when I get home..I'll need to not raid the pantry. I'll be using the treadmill tonight and will aim to use it all this week.
Aug 6 - 202.6 - up a little, which is to be expected because I ate more. I walked for 45 minutes tonight. I find if I read a book and walk it makes the time fly by. I have less calories planned today, but I'm still eating a bunch. I'm so close to onederland...I cant wait.
Aug 7 - 202.0 - Back down I go! Little by little I will get there. Next stop 201s! I had a bagel today. First bread I have had in a week and a half. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I'm not missing carbs as much as I thought I would.
Aug 08 - 202.8 - Back up again, but that's okay. Walked for another 35 min last night too. Today has been good so far. Here's to hoping the scale goes down!
Aug 9 - 202.4 - Down some! Today was not a good day food choice wise and the scale will reflect that come morning. I'm going to need to refocus myself and get back to it! I'm so close to onederland again. Just need to set my mind to it and get it done!
Aug 10 - 205.8 - Really bad choices and falling off the Keto wagon hard = weight gain. I do have to say though, eating more carbs, bread in particular really messed with my stomach. Within 20 min of eating it, I had intestinal cramping. This week I'm gonna go back to more of a low carb approach. I'll keep my carbs under 75, and hopefully that will keep me from falling off the wagon.
Aug 11 - 205.0 - I've recovered some. Hopefully I can get myself back to where I was. I'm disappointed in myself, but all I can do is get up and get going again. I'd really like to get as close to 199 that I can by the end of the month. Still have almost 3 weeks to get it done.
Aug 12-19 - 206.2 - Fell off the wagon hard. Today was my restart day. I still have a few weeks to get myself as close to 199 as possible!
Aug 20 - 204.6 - My good day yesterday was a success. Today has been really good too. While I didn't use the treadmill like I wanted to last night, I still woke up with a loss. Hopefully I can keep it up!
Aug 21 - 203.8 - still going down, but TOM showed up today so I think I'm gonna blow up like a water balloon like I normally do. I'll struggle with gains for 5 or 6 days then itll all drop off. I interviewed for a new position at work today that would have me up and moving a lot more, so that could hopefully contribute to my weightloss.4 -

After a week of vacation I was scared to WI - but way better than I thought! Less than two lbs...I usually gain at least 5 on vacation!
While I was away I figured out that I am lactose intolerant. Ive been having stomach issues especially feeling nauseous at night - now I know it was my nightly halo top ice cream that was doing it! After an ice cream cone I was doubled over with stomach pains which has happened before - I finally made the connection. Cannot believe it took two years of not feeling great to realize why!!
I read the book 'Over 50, Overweight and Out of Breath' this week. The writer, Laura Sinclair, lost 80 lbs in one year. The thing that struck me is that she did not make a small goal for herself - she set the goal of 110lbs and deciding to keep it off and went for it full force - giving up sugar, working out 6 days a week. I had basically given up on ever being at my best weight blaming it on age (57). But maybe this is all wrong, maybe it is possible to be really fit at this age! I have started back giving up sugar and will workout or walk at least 5 days a week and will start lifting weight to increase my muscle mass and increase my metablolism! Maybe I can actually do this! Whatever changes I make have to last forever. I am tired of yo-yo ing - Last year I lost 35lbs and gained 25 back. I am sick of it and need to change for good!

I hope you all don't mind my joining in more than half way through the month. I am looking for accountability. I know I can lose when I track my meals, stay within my calorie budget, and exercise. I've been exercising, but have not been really great with my meals. I am looking to get back to what works and finally take off the last 20 lbs.

19 Aug - 171.0 - This is when I became recommitted. Don't want to see the 170's again.
20 Aug - 169.0 - Much better. Went to Body Pump at my local gym.
21 Aug - 167.0 - I see a trend starting. I went to a cycling class at my gym. I made turkey meatballs with pasta for dinner
22 Aug - 166.8 - I am very happy with the progress this week, but know that the weekend is coming and I tend to fall apart. I went to Body Pump this morning. I upped my weights a bit. I'll feel that tomorrow.

31July - 143.7 ended the month a little high/inflated but we will see what happens tomorrow
1 Aug - 143.7 same still holding on to some extra weight. Hopefully it will drop tomorrow. Damn beers and fast food from Tuesday
2 Aug - 142.2 Almost back to my lowest from last week. I guess I will just keep chugging along
3 Aug - 142.2 probably would have been lower, but I drank to much again last night. I need to get it together already!
4 Aug - 142.2 The hubby and I are going to see Hobbs & Shaw and have lunch.
5 Aug - 144.6 beers at the movies and lunch. Uuugghh, starting today clean start and get lower on the scale
6 Aug - 144.0 down a bit, hopefully I will be back to my 142.xxx tomorrow. Day 2 of getting back on track
7 Aug - 142.1 back down, now to work hard the rest of the week and see a new low in the next couple of days.Stay on track Jenn!
8 Aug - 142.1 out of the last 8 days I have been at 142.xx.My body just loves it here.I'm ready for the next number down already.
9 Aug - 140.8 New low and super happy with this. 1/10 of a pound more and I would have hit a new happy scale milestone
10 Aug - 139.6 I donβt even know what to say. So stoked!
11 Aug - 141.5 got into an argument with my husband last night and comfort ate all day. We never fight so when we do it's not good.
12 Aug - 145.0 We made up but then he took me out for lunch where I had two Bloody Mary's and a cinnamon roll. Sodium and carbs are out of control this weekend. I am back on track today. I blame my husband for this weekend weight gain, lol.
13 Aug - 145.0 I think this is all hormonal. It kind of makes sense why I was so sensitive this weekend,lol.
14 Aug - 142.7 going back down. Almost half way through and doing good so far. Still logging a loss at this point
15 Aug - 142.7 Same which is good. Had lasagna, 1 garlic knot, and 3 beers last night. Luckily I only had 300 calories all day before that.
16 Aug - 142.7 still didn't quite get it together yesterday. Craved carbs all day and ate them. Uugghhhh
17 Aug - 142.1 still just hanging out. Way to much alcohol last night, actually this entire month has been to much

20 Aug - 148.2 found out father-in-law passed away and has been a rough couple of days. Haven't been logging since Saturday. Will see what I can do the rest of the month.
21 Aug - 145.1 down 3 pounds overnight. Thank you water and clean eating
22 Aug - 144.1 I think I would have been lower, but I made rice and chicken for dinner last night and added soy sauce to mine

12 Aug- 164.5 lb ( +1) Back to where I started. Wasn't on my best eating behavior this weekend though. Probably carrying a bit of water weight from it. Back on board!!! Made it a goal this week to stay on track even through the weekend. I got this!!

15 Aug- 163 lb (0) Little to no change. The scale/method for my weigh in right now isn't the most accurate lol For one, I'm fully clothed when I weigh in. Shoes off though. This is because I've been weighing myself on a scale at work. (I dont think they'd appriciate me stripping down the the ladies restroom for a naked weigh LOL!!) I might change that... I use what is called and "expression station" at work 2X a day. It's for breast feeding mothers who need to pump while at work. The room is private and lockable. So if I bring my own scale in to keep in there I could do naked weights after pumping.... entertaining the idea for sure.
