The last 2 pounds are proving very difficult and life isn't helping. I want to continuing eating my 5-7 servings fruits and veggies in every color. Working out and pushing myself especially with weights and using the stationary bike (which I hate) because we are planning to bike ride Ireland or Scotland next year. Will need to up my biking fitness this winter.

10/20- 120.6 Same as last round- tons of gyrations but right back where I started. But starting on a Sunday, after a Saturday night of eating with reckless abandon -my son came home from college to celebrate his birthday. Its actually a big improvement usually Sunday is a rather high number.
10/21- 121.2 I do not understand the scale...Had a wonderful low key 22 mile bike ride ate just a little over- did not expect this jump.
10/22-118.2 WOW- Did not see this coming! I really do not understand the scale. Have been eating 5-7 servings fruits and vegetables. And I just noticed I do not have a headache this morning. Wow this is starting as a great day.
10/23- 119.6 What a rollercoaster- but actually being 118 made me so happy yesterday, I read the Maintenance strand and even got out a measuring tape and measured myself. Back to reality, and slow incremental loss- but now my reality includes I know I can reach my goal.

10/21 – 145 – This is a lot better than last Monday’s weigh in. I made some better food choices this weekend, although I was not perfect. I’ve got my water and grape tomatoes on my desk for the work week.
10/22 – 145 – Did not get my water in yesterday; I will work on that today.
10/23 – 144.5 – Down a little, but I’m going to have to really watch my snacking. Calories add up when you eat a pint of grape tomatoes.

10/23 - 163.4 - BBQ went well last night but I definitely overate and had a lot of sodium. Lunch was out, as well, since I had vendors and they needed food. Water was not good at all. Today will be better on water, hopefully, since I'm prepared. Lunch is catered but I'm better about sitting down and eating slow and mindful during meetings. Steps should be okay since I easily met them yesterday. Hoping today will be overall good and I can drop this water weight quickly.

10/21 - Still battling the remnants of the sinus infection from last round. Friday was so horrid I couldn't even get out of bed. The pressure was the worst I've ever felt in my life. Friday night/Saturday morning the sinus pressure ended up draining into my chest and now I have a horrid cough and my ribs are starting to hurt. Think I'm coughing so much I'm bruising ribs (I've done it before). Still trying to get all the gunk out that's still hiding in the corners of my sinuses and chest but feeling a bit better outside the cough. Today I'm trying to push fluids as I haven't been very good at that this weekend. Didn't weigh just because I know my body is out of whack. Been focusing on tea with honey and soups which equals high sodium. Plus, me being sick always equates to water retention. No need to get down on myself when my body is just doing its job to keep alive.
10/22 - Not where I want to be, but I'm working on it slowly. I was under calories yesterday and didn't feel the slightest bit deprived so that's a good sign! The remainder of this week is going to be extremely busy and I have my first live college football game on Saturday. Going to try to be mindful, but also save money. Tonight my little neighborhood of 5 people is having a going away BBQ/gathering for our landlord (property manager is staying with us!). I made spinach artichoke dip and my neighbor made a veggie-heavy pasta salad. Portions and mindfulness will be key for me. Goal today is to hit my steps (7000), which I haven't done in a few days. I'm finally standing again at my desk now that I don't feel so fatigued and can breathe quite a bit better. Its going to be a great day! Side note: I wish my work days didn't become so busy after yesterday because I really want to resume my 5k training now that the sinus infection is LONG GONE. I'll try to walk instead.

10/21 -186- Vacation is over but my husband will be off for several more days starting Wednesday. I made it through pretty good. We ate at some places that had poor food choices but I just chose the best I could and didn't stress too much about it. I lost 1.9lbs and 2lbs was my goal so I am happy with that!

10/20: 297.3 lbs (+0.2) … up a tiny bit over yesterday. Spent 4 hours yesterday raking leaves until I ran out of daylight and finished it with another 2.5 hours of work this morning. Tired.
10/21: 302.5 lbs (+5.2) … Chinese food was a mistake.
10/22: 298.3 lbs (-4.2) … Partial recovery from yesterday’s uptick. Yesterday, I started a new plan to hopefully improve my rate of loss, which has slowed over the last few months. I’m doing 16:8 IF daily and targeting about 1700 calories. My run this morning went well, though now it’s dark for 3/4 of it, which kind of sucks.
10/23: 297.4 lbs (-0.9) … Pretty much recovered from the General Tso combination platter I ate Sunday night. Hoping to make some positive progress for the remainder of the challenge with my new plan / lower calorie budget.

Round 92 wasn’t the worst of the the last few rounds. I’m going to keep joining though and keep trying. I have decided to leave money at home, and set a timer at work so I remember to actually drink the water I pour everyday.

10/20 285.6 Well that’s a nice way to start the round. I’m hopeful this is the start of some good progress this round.
10/21 285.8 I did strength training yesterday so I’m not surprised that I didn’t have a loss.
10/22 285.2 I had hoped for more but I’ll take it. My nsv was adding 10 more minutes of riding my exercise bike. I also managed to walk to and from the market in the burger place without stopping or getting anything extra.

10/23 139, I'm rejoining. I had a rough go at work, then fight with my boyfriend, and lost it. I started eating and drinking without thinking, and just wanted to comfort myself. My weight is up, and I quit the last challenge. Now I feel even worse, and want to get back on track.

Pizza and chocolate cake on the b'day menu. I did not partake. I had no appetite anyway. Took a gallon of electrolyte water and a container of bone broth to drink while I was there. I enjoyed my time there.
10/22 - 183 - I don't know what my actual carb count ended up being. I had a late evening mindless pretzel binge after a very stressful week. I was not feeling stressed at the time. Maybe just a delayed need to chew it out? I don't know. Much better today. 1F/18hrs. (before pretzels~28g carbs, 18g net carbs) Meal times~1pm, 5pm, 7pm.

@Hilogirl2018 Does anyone else weigh on your scale? I’ve heard that digitals can get “stuck” so periodically you should have a significantly heavier or lighter person weigh to “shock” it. Just a thought.3

10/23 139, I'm rejoining. I had a rough go at work, then fight with my boyfriend, and lost it. I started eating and drinking without thinking, and just wanted to comfort myself. My weight is up, and I quit the last challenge. Now I feel even worse, and want to get back on track.

10/20 …..189.0 ….. Within calorie, a little high on carbs yesterday. 1505 Calories In / 2606 Calories Out. 47 Net Carbs. 15,158 Total Steps & 6.41 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I only slept 3 hours & 41 minutes and woke up very tired, however, Sunday is a busy work day so I needed to get started on the tourist cabin check-outs. Yesterday I walked 68 minutes in the neighborhood at approx 3.0 mph. I also took a short 10 minute slow walk at about 2.0 mph. Total extra calorie burn 402. Good luck everyone!
10/21 …..189.2 ….. I just realized I typed my end weight wrong for the last round when transferring info to this round. I’ve repaired it today on R93. Today’s weight is probably a normal fluctuation. Not enough water yesterday and a very big calorie burn & deficit. Hard hike. I think fluid pushed up the scale a bit. Calories too low for MFP to approve but my carbs were a bit high again. That means my choices weren’t ideal. I ate leftover food from a church function where I tried to make decent choices in what I brought home, but there’s no place like home when it comes to healthy planned eating! Yesterday’s stats: 984 Calories In / 3254 Calories out. 57 Net Carbs. 25,269 Total Steps & 10.69 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 1 minute. I hiked a long rustic trail for 103 minutes at 3.5 miles per hour. I walked in my neighborhood for 41 minutes at 3.0 mph. Extra calorie burn was 825. Just as @quiltingjaine was trying to point out, this is a perfect example of how a calorie deficit does not always mean an immediate loss on the scale. I will patiently wait for my scale reward.
10/22 …..192.8….. A disastrous day. Emergency travel due to family situation. No notice, no planning! Some meals good choices, others not. An emotional day overall. I don’t know my exact stats. I am sure it’s over 150 carbs and over 2000 calories. No planned exercise or extra calorie burn. I am
back home now. Things have quieted down. Time to face the fiddler. Expecting rain so I will walk inside the school, if necessary. Doubling down on water & parsley tea. Maybe an egg fast today for at least 24 hours. Glad to be home & have choices.
10/23 …..188.2 ….. Yes, you read that right. 4.6 lbs overnight of #1 and #2. Gone is the travel weight but I must admit I did take drastic measures because my stomach & bloating was so uncomfortable during exercise yesterday. I did a very low cal & low carb egg fast & pushed the water & tea. MFP would not close out my day due to low cal. Today I will up my cals & carbs in order to prevent my body from going into “starvation mode” but I will still be diligent. That’s the plan. Yesterday’s stats: 698 Calories In / 2844 Calories Out. 4 Net Carbs. 20,182 Total Steps & 8.54 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 55 minutes which was very nice & refreshing. For extra exercise I raked and hauled leaves and pine needles for 64 minutes and I took a 3.5 miles walk inside the school during the rainy drizzle yesterday evening for 76 minutes walking 3.0 mph. Total extra calorie burn 800. Staying strong today is my goal! I expect extra hunger after yesterday! Back to the basics - Continued progress in a healthy way!
