Day 71 – 05/10 …….205.2…… My 60th Birthday!!!! A double holiday with Mother’s Day but I am going to try to keep everything at a minimum. I did eat some fresh banana nut bread from my daughter last night which showed up on the scale this morning. However, I cut out all my later snacks because of it, kept my calories under and just went over on the carbs. Today will be lots of movement with cabin cleaning and laundry. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!
Day 72 – 05/11 …….205.1…… I am working hard at my outdoor projects so this is a late post. I am trying hard not to “reward myself” with food since I have been doing such a good job at barn cleaning. Old habits are hard to break! Thanks Ladies for the well wishes on my birthday. It was truly wonderful!
Day 73 – 05/12 …….205.1…… More of the same I suppose. I did really well yesterday. I worked hard though it did not require a lot of steps. More of the same today. I’m going to have to keep a closer eye on the macros which I find difficult when I’m so busy. My calories were very good.
Day 74 – 05/13 …….205.1…… The same. I worked hard yesterday, to the point of soreness, and I thought there would be a drop on the scale. Either its DOMS from all the heavy lifting, or its my new batteries I put in last night, or I’m just stuck a bit. No matter! I’m doing good stuff and it always pays off! Staying positive.
Day 75 – 05/14 …….205.0…… slower than molasses.
Day 76 – 05/15 …….204.3…… Finally a little progress on the scale. All the hard work is paying off and the flowers are looking lovely. The barn is getting there. I’ve gained a lot of space inside. I can’t wait to be done. Starting today the weather is really improving and I would love to start getting my walking and hiking in again soon. Have a wonderful weekend Ladies!
Day 77 – 05/16 …….204.3…… More hard outside work yesterday. I am burning the calories but need to keep a closer eye on the food choices. Grab & go is not the path of full success.
Day 78 – 05/17 …….204.3……A better eating day yesterday and lots of calorie burn working in the barn again. Probably not enough water. More hard work coming today.
Day 80 – 05/18 …….204.2…… It’s moving slow but I’m staying strong. I am still low on water and sleep due to heavy work being done in the barn. I’ve got to try to focus on that again today. My barn needs the work but so do I.
Day 81 – 05/19 …….204.6…… I admit I am a little upset by this increase. I ate pretty healthy yesterday, put in an extra almost 900 calories of exercise. I stayed within my calorie limits (not eating back my burn) but my carbs were over with mainly healthy foods. I hate what the diabetes does to the carbs in my body (how it re-routes them and stores as fat). I’ve got to watch those carbs because I know all their dirty little secrets!
Day 82 – 05/20 …….204.3…… Working it back down by breaking my back with hard work LOL. Mom always said “If it’s worth doing, then it’s worth doing right” so I am trying my best in every single aspect. Enjoy your day Ladies!
Day 83 – 05/21 …….204.3…… Ladies, I appreciate all the encouragement you are sharing. I need every drop! Yesterday I ate back many of my calories but managed to not go over. Today I will work on doing a bit better. Lots of work today, not much time for actual exercise segments, but I will get in lots of steps & movement. I hope everyone is experiencing a wonderful good-weather day like we are here in northern Michigan USA.
Day 84 – 05/22 …….204.8…… Well, it finally reared it’s ugly head! I have been staying under but eating back many of the calories of my movement. Today I will try not to do that! It is a holiday weekend here in the US so I will have to have extra willpower!
Day 85 – 05/23 …….204.5…… A little better as my calories were more in the green. My carbs are still too high and I’ve got to stop compromising!
Day 86 – 05/24 …….205.7…… Clearly I blew it yesterday though it did not seem so excessive or frivolous at the time. Clearly too much and clearly not the best choices. Fingers crossed for strength and clarity today.
Day 87 – 05/25 …….205.3…… A better show on the scale but I know where I made my mistakes last night. I was so incredibly hungry and all my tricks were just NOT WORKING. New plan for tonight. Blood work tomorrow at the doctors before my appointment Thursday. Boy, am I EVER in trouble!
Day 88 – 05/26 …….205.0……
Day 89 - 05/27 …….205.0…… More of the same but the days are going pretty good. A drop on the scale must be coming soon!
Day 90 – 05/28 …….204.8…… A doctor appointment today and I know she will be disappointed in my weight gain and my glucose A1C numbers. I can’t wait to get this over with!

Day 92 – 05/30 …....208.0…… Unexpected travels and it never bodes well for me. More travel coming Monday which I am very nervous about (medical reasons). I am back on the ball today and will work hard all weekend to make up for yesterday’s choices.
Day 93 – 05/31 …....206.8…… A little better. I’m sure it’s water retention loss. In May I showed a small loss for the month but I am still on a gain status for the 100 day challenge. Very disappointing. However, we are entering the good weather and the time-frame that I am usually able to lose the most weight during the year. I’ve got to make this count!

Day 94 – 06/01 …….206.8…… Okay Ladies! Let’s do this!
Day 95 – 06/02 …….208.2…… Some travel gain from yesterday. I am not going to sweat it. Sweating enough from this MISERABLE HEAT. Lots of water for me today for all the many reasons!
Day 96 – 06/03 …….208.8……Weight is still showing up days after the transgression. Busy, Busy for the rest of the week. I will try to avoid the “grab & go” way of eating and plan as best as I can. G & G always ends in defeat!
Day 97 – 06/04 …….211.2…… Death in family last night. Work Stress, Glucose drop (fast & severe), lack of sleep all leading to binge eating. All a recipe for disaster. Today will be a very tough day but I’ve got to get my s*%t together and, AT THE VERY LEAST, be more mindful. My going off the rails helps nothing and no one. I’ve got to somehow put in more effort today.
Day 98 – 06/05 …….209.2…… A nice overnight whoosh but a far cry from where I need to be. I’m going to work hard today to overcome and not let any emotions get in my way. Health comes first!
Day 99 – 06/06 …….209.2……Status Quo. Can I make a difference for tomorrow’s final weigh in? Any downward movement at all! I will give it my best shot today!
Day 79 – 06/07 …….209.2…….More of the same. Come On Donna, you can do this!
Day 100 – 06/08 (Final Weight In)……211.0…… I am the most miserable(ist) of human beings. My rushed life and work has (again) pushed me to a new level of failure. I’ve got to plan better for today. I think I will pre-log and pray I have time to follow it to the T. You Ladies have done a wonderful job and set a fine example for me. Thanks for continuing to inspire. I will see you on the new thread # 5.

Day 1: 11/22 - 158.1
November result: 0.4lb loss
December result: Gain 3.1 pounds
Day 71, Fri, 1/31: 159.7
January result: Gain 0.2 pounds
Day 72, Sat, 2/1: 158.1 - exactly the same as Day 1 of 100 days
Day 100, Sat, 2/29: 154.4
February result: Loss 3.7
Total loss over 100 days: 3.7 pounds

Day 1 - Sunday March 01.20 - 155.3 - up almost a pound from yesterday, going to use 154.4 as my day 1 start weight.
Day 13 - Friday March 13.20 - 152.1 - Wow, all of the hard work is showing some progress! New low.
Day 31 - Tuesday March 31.20 - 156.9 - burned lots of calories, consumed under calories but still showed an uptick on the scale.
March results: Kind of a bust, 1.6 pounds gained
Day 32 04.01.20 - 155.4 - I think that March was hard for everyone. Onward to April.
Day 45 – Tuesday 04.14 - 157.5 - Sticking with the plan, I believe this number to be a weird fluctuation, I have been on point on all fronts, and have been working out much more since being out of work, and eating better too. Really expecting a big drop soon.
Day 58 – 04/27 - 156.0 - No reason whatsoever for this gain, I had 1100 calories left over after a great deal of activity yesterday. Maybe my body will catch up.
Day 59 – 04/28 - 156.0 - turkey dinner
Day 60 – 04/29 - 155.6 - low sleep. I don't expect a miracle tomorrow, but definitely hoping for one lol.
Day 61 – 04/30 - 154.6 - got some sleep.
April result - 0.8 pound loss
- 3.5 pounds down over 161 days - not nearly fast enough for all of the work that I put in.
Total Accumulated Weight Loss so far this 100 after 61 days - 0.7 pounds
Day 62 – 05/01 - 153.8 - Happy to start May with this number.
Day 63 – 05/02 - 153.6 (I was 154.2 hours ago, but went back to bed and got this number) Planned cheat day today.
Day 64 – 05/03 - 155.3 - I had Ribs last night. I knew that my weight would go up. I used to have them once per week, then once per month. So delicious, but soooo fattening. I expected the 2 pound gain, and yeah, it goes on way faster than we can take it off.
Day 65 – 05/04 - 154.7 - Still not back down to the weight of my first 100 EW, but feeling hopeful and will work very hard at this.
Day 66 – 05/05 - 153.4 - Another day of getting up to pee, weighing, going back to lay in bed and listen to the radio and somehow lose a pound in an hour.
Day 67 – 05/06 - 154.1 - Going to start using my first number from here on in, even if I just get up and go back to bed. I was another 1 pound down on my second reading today, but I can't get into that habit since when I go back to work I won't have that luxury and don't want to be shocked with a big gain.
Day 68 – 05/07 - 153.1 - I didn't weigh when I got up to pee early (like I was planning to), just went straight back to bed, so I have this number upon getting up for the day. I'll take it.
Day 69 – 05/08 - 156.1 - So upset with this number, hoping that it is just water.
Day 70 – 05/09 - 154.8 - I guess some of it was water. I will work extra hard today.

Day 76 – 05/15 - 154.4 - So frustrating! I have to not let it derail me. All of this work and energy...I don't want to simply give up, but it is kind of ridiculous.
Day 77 – 05/16 - 154.8 - Lack of sleep for 2 days is contributing to my weight gain I think. Ended that previous 100 days at 154.4, so this is sucking. 22 days left to blast some fat.
Day 78 – 05/17 - 154.3
Day 80 – 05/18 - 153.6 - Hoping to see a 0.2 loss each day until the end of this 100
Day 81 – 05/19 - 152.8 - A little surprised by this, I have been having dinner very late this week so far.
Day 82 – 05/20 - 152.1 - Happy to see this number, but it was a case of sleeping in today.
Day 83 – 05/21 - 152.3 - I plan to work out more today than I did yesterday.
Day 84 – 05/22 - 152.1 - Really happy to see this number again. Worked out extra yesterday.
Day 85 – 05/23 - 153.3 - Pizza 2 days ago finally catching up with my slow metabolism. Need to get rid of that!
Day 86 – 05/24 - 152.6 - One more week before I have to go back to work. At first I gained, stressed out and becoming self-indulgent like "I am going to eat what I want, life is too short", and then I got on track and have so much more time for working out. Not to mention that my stress level is so much better when I don't go to work that I think that I am losing weight due to less stress. It would be great to see the 151s before the end of this month. I will work on it.
Day 87 – 05/25 - 152.2 - I have been hanging around the 152s pretty much for a week. Going to stay on track.
Day 88 – 05/26 - 153.1 - A bit shocked to see this number, hopefully the gain is just a blip, I was right on track.
Day 89 - 05/27 - 152.3 - I had 1200 calories left over on my tracker yesterday, hopefully that registers in a few days, my metabolism is very slow to catch up.
Day 90 – 05/28 - 153.2 - Had a good meal, really need to keep that to only once in awhile! Hoping to undo that over the next few days.
Day 91 – 05/29 - 152.6 - Staying on track. HIIT up ahead today, and a bunch of yardwork.
Day 92 – 05/30 - 151.4 - Slept in, so got this number. Whatever the reason, new low, I am so very pleased!
Day 93 – 05/31 - 152.7 - Up early and had a good dinner last night. One nice meal = 1.3 pound gain in one day.
May result - 1.1 pound loss
Total Accumulated Weight Loss so far this 100 after 93 days - 1.7 pounds. That hurts.
Final push. 100 days is a long time, and I really would have liked to see a 10 pound loss. I don't think that is achievable now that there is only one week left. I will try my hardest in these final 7 days to lower the scale.
Day 94: Monday 6/1 - 151.7 - Slept in, so got a good number. Not as good as May 30th, but better than May 31st. I plan to stay diligent for the remainder of this 100.
Day 95: Tuesday 6/2 - 150.7 - New low, 2 1/2 years in the making. Finally hit my 40 pound loss. So happy to see that number!! I will celebrate not until Day 101 lol, with a fattening Rib Eye Steak. 5 more days left of this 100. 0.3 pounds will take me to a 4 pound loss for this 100, going to work hard for it.
Day 96: Wednesday 6/3 - 150.7 - Less than 4 months to my 60th birthday, it would be great to be down 20 more pounds by then (5 pounds per month), but I lose soooo very slowly. Sticking with the plan.
Day 97: Thursday 6/4 - 150.6 - Okay
Day 98: Friday 6/5 - 151.3 - No reason for a gain except for low sleep and work stress. 800 calories left over yesterday, good workout. 2 more days to get this number back down. The push is on!!
Day 99: Saturday 6/6 - 151.2 - Had nachos for dinner, got sick of working so hard at this, sacrificing, and then seeing a gain for no reason. Final weigh for this 100 tomorrow, going to be very diligent today.
Day 79 (99): Sunday 6/7 - 152.0 - What a reprieve to have an extra day! Indulged a little over the weekend, but still had lots of calories left over due to workouts etc. Hitting that 150.6 (and 150.7 for 2 days) was making this 100 look better. 2.4 loss this 100 to date using today's number, really feeling leaner than that. I will work out extra today and keep my food choices clean.
Day 100: Monday 6/8 - 151.7 - Didn't end up where I wanted to, but had an indulgent weekend. I need to keep it to one meal, once per week.

Day 100 June 08 - 151.7
Total: 2.7 pounds lost in 100 days. Argh, all of that hard work for such a piddly result.
Previous round ending February 29 - Total loss over 100 days: 3.7 pounds
200 days = 6.4 - So hopefully at least 10 pounds per year. This will take forever!!1 -

May Loss: 4.8 lbs ... what a whopping loss this month! I haven't seen such a loss since Aug 2019. I attribute the loss to 10k of daily walking, more water, and staying around 1200 to 1400 cals weekly average.
Overall Loss from Nov 2017 to May 2020: 34 lbs --- Over 30 lbs!!
Day 93 - 06/01: 112.4 ... 14k steps, 1570 cals, 9 cups of water and ~2746 mg sodium ... 31% BF
Day 94 - 06/02: 113.4 ... well, that didn't take long... I had a full size chocolate bar and chips yesterday.
