    JFT- Saturday May 23
    1L of water
    Log all food

Up early this morning and went tonHome Depot with hubby to get the final items we need for the deck. I estimated that the deck would cost 1500 and I think we are about 20 over at this point. I hope that was the final cost. I am going to buy some post solar lights for it next pay but that’s decorative stuff in my mind.

I need to go get some groceries and clean this afternoon, but right now I feel I could use a nap.

@snowflake1968 Good luck with your deck! That’s a major project; I’m sure you’ll really enjoy it once done.

Had a great day yesterday! Spent the whole day with husband working on my mom's yard, mowing, planting perennials, planting window boxes, etc. Was one of the nicest days I've had in a while! This past week was the first week that I have felt happy versus stressed every day. Loved being furloughed and not working this week! Today we are going to mom's to plant 4 trees and cut limbs.

Have a wonderful day and happy & safe Memorial weekend!

Gratitude Journal:  Done on the kitchen whiteboard this morning.

Gratitude: Today I am grateful to be healthy. I am grateful for the gift of sight, hearing, touch, smell. I am grateful that I can walk and do yard work. I am grateful I can continue this lifestyle journey so I can continue to do these things for many years to come!

    2020 WOTY: Tenacity

@PackerFanInGB That’s so nice you had a happy day working on your mom’s yard. What a great way to start the weekend!

@Snowflake1968 Good luck with the patio furniture and the deck! I wouldn't know the first thing about how to recover furniture! I'm glad you are having decent weather! I don't think I could handle the length of your winters! They are long enough in Wisconsin! :flowerforyou:

@Kuhl50 "...camping on our boat with the family. Isolated from others, but wake up to nature each day" sounds like absolute HEAVEN to me! I have told my husband many times if we ever hit the lottery, first big purchase would be a nice boat or a cottage on a lake with my own dock and boat. Enjoy being in the present moment!

@PackerFanInGB - I am so happy that you were able to get your Mother so close before this all happened.

I think our Winters are fairly similar based on the weather that you and @cschmitz110515 report on here.
