    Onto some quick goals.
    Today I will:
    - post 😁
    - pin😁
    - writing challenge😁 Only 377 words but 50 is my minimum and I wasn't feeling very inspired last night so I'm happy with what I have.
    - finish legal course😁 Boy did my head hurt after that!
    - cook dinner😔 Matt wanted Chinese which turned it to be a bad idea. He's really sick today. So it's back to plain chicken and veggies for a few days.
    - liquor store😁
    - Walgreens😁

Yesterday was a good day. It was quiet and I got most of what I wanted done.

I'm currently sitting outside in my chair. It's only like 78° in the shade with a really nice breeze. This is the nicest day we've had in probably a month and a half! But we're supposed to get thunderstorms later so I'm soaking it up while I can. Lol

But I left my to do list in the house and I don't want to get up to get it 😭 I'll have to guess and then edit. Lol. I would be working out here right now but my laptop had a dead battery so it's charging now.

I stepped on the scale this morning out of curiosity. My weigh day isn't until Sunday. But I've been doing 60 minutes on my stepper every night and I wanted to see if it's paying off. It is! I'm down a pound! Even with the take out last night! I'm excited to see what I'll be on Sunday after all the sodium is out of me! I have also been trying to eat healthier. I haven't been eating my exercise calories back which I'm surprised about. I also feel like my sugar cravings might be lessening. Yesterday I thought I wanted cookies but I didn't want to have to go out and get them so we were like "Eh. Maybe another day." I'm so so so proud of myself for that! My parents always have cookies so I could have gone up the road to get some but I didn't. I actually didn't even remember that until just now. Lol.

    Okay, enough babble.

    Today I will:
    - set up legal pages on blog
    - brainstorm questions for WIP
    - research opt-in ideas
    - cook dinner!!
    - stepper for 1 hr
    - 50 word challenge

I'm pretty sure i only last about 5 mins on them steppers hahah

Have you seen the StairMasters at the gym (i have no idea if you call it that over there lmao) but its basically a machine thats a set of stairs that just roll round so you are forever climbing stairs.
Well. I last about 2 mins on them!!

I've seen the StairMasters! Those things are crazy! No thank you! And I've probably been calling it the wrong thing. It's more like a peddler. It's a bit like a recumbent bike I guess. Lol. I call it a stepper. Lol. But I've been burning some major calories on it. Lol. Plus it's mindless. Like I'll be reading on my phone and suddenly an hour's passed!

Very happy to report that on my work from home day yesterday, hubby and I had a heart to heart talk, and relations w/ hubby are good again. <3 On the 25th anniversary of the day we met. Which hubby pointed out before I even realized. LOL

Feeling excited about my niece's wedding tomorrow, if a bit nervous about the social distancing aspects throughout the day. Everyone will be wearing masks in the church (except the couple themselves), will feel strange. Since she's also my goddaughter, I have been informed there will be special photos taken with me. Pressure's on to pick the right dress for hot, humid, looks, and comfort. Thank goodness wedding is not formal but casual. I have narrowed my choices to three and will try each on again today, to decide. Btw, no posting JFT or net cal goals tomorrow for me. I plan to relax and enjoy!

    2020 Goals:
    1) Get weight below 160# (last time was 4/20/19)
    2) Plan meals most days & prelog meals/snacks whenever possible on MFP
    3) Post weekly weigh-in on JFT for accountability
    4) Take measurements & log on MFP monthly (I stopped as weight plateaued & went up) = 2.1.20 / 2.29.20 / 4.1.20 (forgot 3.31.20) / 5.1.20 (forgot 4.30.20) / 6.3.20 (forgot at ME again)
    5) Exercise 5-6x per week (minimum 4x) ~ mostly walking but include weights/circuit & other x-training
    6) Participate in race events ~ have planned 7 5Ks and 2 10Ks at minimum = Frenzy on the Fox 5K 49:36 ave. pace 15:29 / Seroogy's Valentine 5K 46:26.7 ave. pace 14:47 / Badger State Brewing 10K virtual race w/ dog on 4/2/20 1:44:16 ave. pace 16:33 / Prevention virtual 5K Fun & Fit Team on 5/2/20 I walked 3.48 mi w/ dog in 1:01:10 ave. pace 17:33 / RonaRunOff 5/16/20 virtual walk 5.08 miles with dog in 1:23:15 ave. pace 16:23 / 100 Miles Challenge fundraiser (per fitness tracker) & completed 5/18/20 / Bellin Run 10K virtual race w/ dog on 6/6/20 1:41:03 ave. pace 16:14 dog definitely slows my "race pace"
    7) Be considerate and loving to hubby and have fun together
    8) Make efforts to keep in touch with parents, siblings and friends (most live in other towns or states)
    9) Declutter home office, bedroom and basement = basement (boxes) Jan. / home office desk (some) & more basement boxes Feb. / basement boxes & home office (some more) Mar. / decluttered/cleaned in bedroom & more basement boxes Apr. / basement boxes May ~ very pleased w/ my progress / reorg in basement June & July

      Scale goals
      End of 2017: 174.6
      End of 2018: 189.2
      End of 2019: 196.4
      End of January: 194.6
      End of February: 196.2
      End of March: 193.8
      End of April: 192.6
      End of May: 191.8
      End of June: 192.2
      End of July: 188.6
      Today: 191.6

      Ongoing plans/ideas behind the cut
      1. Purchases: Look for an "ugly Christmas sweater" and a long-haired doll at thrift stores. Practice French braiding. Go to used bookstore and look for On Writing (Stephen King), Dying for a Paycheck (Robin Hardman), The Prince (tr. Tim Parks, Russell Price, or Robert Adams), The Secret Adversary (Christie).
      2. E2: What should the controlling ideas be in a study of world literature? Review world lit options. Create vocabulary lists for each unit that come from the texts used: Animal Farm, Julius Caesar, Wes Moore, I Am Malala. Find a way to incorporate changing words from one part of speech to another. Students need to know how to review multiple sources and synthesize information in order to draw a conclusion. Need practice with the difference between transitions and overlapping (at end of paragraph - "another issue is Y" vs "there are other issues besides X"). Quit using "in conclusion" and "I believe" and other writing-about-my-writing phrases. Confusion between direct/indirect objects and prepositional phrases. Use the UDHR and the Declaration of Independence to study paraphrasing; use that to front-load Machiavelli and how to deal with challenging texts. Confusion between everyday / every day and similar constructions.
      3. E1: Need practice with quoting & paraphrasing sources, identifying claims that would need support, use of last names for reference, and capitalization practice (common/proper nouns, titles). Difficulty using possessive nouns in their own writing. Honors: practice subject/object pronouns (my friend and I / my friend and me). Poetry: Revise "Songs are Poetry" handouts.
      4. Curriculum Development: Writing mini-unit. Review scholarly research on 5PE. (I think I can have this as an intro to the research unit so that they also get exposure to how quotes are integrated and cited.) Parallel structure; use of emotional language, specific detail. Use "Write About a Pebble" lesson from Atwell. How long should each unit take? Do research on characteristics: curiosity, persistence, resilience, creativity, responsibility, optimism, courage, integrity, authenticity, leadership, self-awareness, humility, compassion - others? Include grammarly check on essays! Review assessments. What is the purpose for each unit? What should the controlling ideas be in a study of world literature? Review world lit options. Schedule assessments for Fall 2019; plan out return times. Write 1 reflection weekly; type one in Classroom by Weds. Copy-paste to discussion board for comments due Friday. Homework: Online journal Mon due Tue; Reflection Tue due Wed; C&P journal in class Wed; Comments Thu due Fri. Bonus if you are the first response; further bonus if you respond to comments on your post. Grammar practice Mon & Wed; quiz Fri. Unit plan for research (Idea for regular: comparing same story on sites with different biases).
      5. Professional Development: Write blog post weekly. Comment on 3 posts each week - Tu Th Sun? Check with PSC. Talk with Z about articles and/or conference proposals.
      6. Medical: Dentist call to schedule cleaning. ObG schedule for October. PCP - allergy shots? left toe joints. Sleep center 778 3316.
      7. Theater: 1984.
      8. House: Siding. Or perhaps bathroom floor.
      9. Fun: Open beading on Thursdays. Coloring at library on Tuesday. Put jewelry away. Edney Hack Nights alt Weds. ASL? Spanish/Portuguese practice? Practice piano. ROL Secret Adversary. Buy bike rack for car.
      10. Volunteering ideas: Theater. Library. Animal shelter. Community Kitchen. Emerge Georgia training.
      11. Family: Google Hangout. Dinners?
      12. Other: Practice hair braiding with D. Check on appts for drs. Remind D to ask his dad about the table and check with home repair contractors. START BLOGGING AGAIN. 3 posts/week? Create test for MLA format. Create test for infographics and visual information. Therapy exercises: lunges, push-ups, ankle lifts, box jumps, plank. Remember that M does not like surprises! Check dates of classes and update semester plan. She Should Run vision statement. Update standards on board. When to change bulletin board?

      WFTY: Progress.

@ZizzyBumble That's been happening to me a lot, too. The days just seem to fly past, and I have such a loose schedule. Then some nights I seem to get sucked into late night TV and then just crash out.

Morning! I missed posting goals yesterday, but had a good day eating, got chores done and had my mom over for dinner on the patio. 🟢🟢🟢

Today I’m singing for a wedding for the first time in a while. The music is pretty simple, but yesterday there was a last minute change to add Ave Maria. The song itself isn’t hard, but I always get so nervous with that one because everyone knows it and has high expectations. I get into my head and then don’t breathe correctly. It’s never gone bad, but it’s not as good as it should be. 🎶

      JFT SATURDAY:
      - eat sensibly
      - SING FOR WEDDING!
      - Get some chores done
      - Make a yummy dinner

      Have a great day!

      Okay, enough babble.

      Today I will:
      - up at 9
      - post
      - set up legal pages on blog🤣 Way WAY more involved than I thought
      - read blog about Convert Kit😔
      - bring trash can to the front
      - request 5 group boards on Pinterest😁
      - brainstorm questions for WIP😁
      - research opt-in ideas😁
      - cook dinner!!😁
      - stepper for 1 hr😁
      - 50 word challenge📚

I thought I barely did anything yesterday but looking back at this list I did more than I thought. Lol. At about 1:30 my Godmom texted me and asked me if I wanted to come over. I was waist deep in legalise and definitely needed a break. My head was spinning. Also, she makes the best egg salad. I ended up having TWO egg salad sandwiches and stayed for like 3 hrs. Lol. It was good to hang out with her for a while. I don't do it often enough.

But today I have to get back into all the legal stuff again. It's really annoying. But necessary if I want to monetize my blog. Which I do.

Also, our Governor said that schools can do all remote learning this year and my school district said it would. However, we have a huge special needs program that doesn't work well with remote learning since it's mostly one on one. There's a special meeting between the district and special needs parents about whether or not they want to open the school just for them. If they do, I have a job. If not, I'm still stuck on unemployment still.

      Today I will:
      - up by 9 😁
      - post 😁
      - continue working on legal stuff
      - download plugins
      - 50 word challenge
      - peddle for 1 hr
      - go through email
      - find/read 2 blogs about ConvertKit
      - work on next week's to do list
      - food shopping
      - Walmart
      - liquor store
      - Walgreens
      - brainstorm freebies(check competitors sites)

Yesterday went well enough, though I'm very tired right now. I had to stop on the drive home for a bit as I was so tired. I had prepared double food on Friday so I had food ready to zap when I got in (first time I'd made a crustless quiche to save on the calories). Living alone I'm used to eating the same thing more than once.
My laundry this week will be a challenge, a bed which was spotless a week ago was so dirty that I expect to have to bin some of it. Stains on all the bedding, right down to the mattress and carpet and towels. And used underwear under the bed, ugh! This summer our holiday guests are being asked to strip their beds and make sure the dishes are clean before they leave, but some are just not bothering. It's so the cleaners are not shaking any virus which may be on bedding into the air, and to give more time to disinfect everything.

        Morning all

It rained all day yesterday so a fairly depressing half of the weekend. After a not very promising start it’s now sunny but the rain is forecast to return soon so hoping to get out and back before the heavens open! Workout is done but I’ve got the second session of couch to 5k for the kids so will combine that with heading out for some lunch.

Glad it went well @SERmom3! @littleblackskirt - that’s horrible! Can’t believe people behave like that anywhere but especially someone else’s home/business...
@HEGoddard0928 - how frustrating to not know the plan for school/work. Here in the UK the momentum is definitely towards full reopening in September, come what may. We managed to get about half of the kids in our school back before the summer holiday and they definitely benefitted being back in school. But now people are travelling for holidays and businesses are reopening, numbers might spike again which puts school opening under pressure. It’s such a nightmare. I really feel for everyone who has employment uncertainty right now. X

Can anyone suggest a reasonable punishment for this? (Marley and Casey)

Because I honestly just don't know anymore. They've defeated me.

Thats a family size cornflakes, 1/2 box of shreddies, a full box of ReadyBrek (porridge oats finely milled) and FORTYEIGHT weetabix.
