03/18 - 361.8 - Good news. My interview on Monday went well. Better news. I have applied for several positions with state (PA) and federal gov't. One position with the state just got back to me and said I scored a 100 on their test. Now I'm just a bit excited. Getting a job with either means I can use my time in the Air Force towards retirement. I'll have to work until I'm 72, but hey... it does take a huge weight off my shoulders. Bittersweet news... My mom has lived with me for the past 20+ years. We recently found out she has early stage dementia. But the state is saying she now qualifies for in-home health care. Which means that while I am at work, someone will be here most of that time. This would be another huge weight off my shoulders. I had to reset my scale and it jumped up. Not happy, but let's see how it goes for the next few day.
03/19 - 360.9 - At a time where the coronavirus is virtually collapsing our economy, I got offered a job yesterday. I just have to pass the background check. As long as my previous employers are honest, I'll be fine. I guess the stress was slowing my weightloss, since I'm down almost a pound. The real barometer is if it continues. Time will tell. Also got my payout from my 6-month DietBet. I put in $175 and got out $176.30. Yup, a whopping $1.30 of winnings. Needless to say, I won't be doing that again. And that's a cautionary tale for anyone interested/considering participating.
03/20 - 359.4 - And downward we go. Back under 360 and I hope it stays that way.
03/21 - 359.3 - Slowly we continue. As long as I'm level or dropping, I'm ok.

03/18: 177.6 (A nice 2 lb drop from yesterday! I did an at home Zumba class from what I remember during the at person one using Spotify. I made a delicious dinner and tried to release some stress. Iβm still going to work since they havenβt shut down and I donβt see them doing it unless the governor does it for the whole state. Weβll see! Taking it day by day!)
03/19: 178.8 (Iβm super sore from my workouts at home! This weight gain is only temporary since Iβve completely changed the way I workout. I did another YouTube workout and ate to plan.)
03/20: 177.6 (I didnβt work out yesterday like I was supposed to and ate out of plan by having 2 mini brownies. Iβm so stressed out because my husband has been ordered to not work and thankfully I work for an essential business so half of our normal income will come through just fine. My husband has to file from unemployment today and weβll see how much he gets. Itβs gonna be a struggle, but Iβm grateful that Iβll have enough money for essentials. I need another mental health day, so I will be staying at home like weβve been ordered to (I usually have every other Friday off so my weekend has started) and organizing my bathroom. Iβll see if I get a workout in today even though I have another rest day I can use from now til Sunday. Best of luck everyone!)
03/21: 178.8 (My hubby and I ordered some takeout from a nearby Mexican restaurant and it definitely hit the spot! Weβre taking full advantage of Postmates on the weekend. I didnβt do a workout yesterday but I got approved to work from home so Iβll be doing that next week. Only time weβre really gonna go outside is when we need to go to the grocery store. Hubby is going right now to see if there are eggs anywhere. We only have 3 left and thereβs a shortage!)

03/18 157.1 ~ {Steps 14,539} ~ Taking one day at a time, yesterday was extremely stressful but I didnβt go to food, yay! It turns out my daughter is working from home this week. This helps since I can be home with my husband this week.
03/19 157.1 ~ {Steps 8,810} ~ Today hopefully things will workout for my daughter to stop out by for lunch. Focus, focus focus! Edit: I didnβt do tooo bad, my hubby wanted Burger King. We will see how it effects my weight.
03/20 157.2 ~ {Steps 13,126} ~ I was able get a couple nice walks in even with all the craziness. I didnβt make the best food choices hence the spike in my weight but itβs okay, Iβll take a pound.
03/21 158.1 ~ {Steps TBD} ~ I had to run to the store for a few things since Iβll away at my daughters tomorrow hopefully only Thursday. Today though is the last day my husband is working till this gets better. Unfortunately we think itβs better for him not to visit our grandkids too. 03/17 β¦..200.4β¦.. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
03/18 β¦..200.4β¦.. Michigan has gone crazy. In 48 hours we have went from 2 cases to 110. 25 of those cases in the last 2 hours. Iβve cancelled all my non-essential dr appointments as requested by our governor. Business in my motel & cabins is down to zero as itβs not recommended for folks to travel. This morning we had our first Coronavirus death in Michigan-a male in his 50βs. Theyβve closed the borders between Michigan and Canada as a joint effort between countries and that includes our Detroit entrance. If I put on the 24 hour news stations (CNN or FoxNews) it just about scares me to death. So I am going to try to check in and stay informed but use my time for some much needed projects that I should get done while I have the time. So far, no cases within 100 miles of me. That is how far our closest hospital basically is. I plan on going out only when I have to at this point. I am a high-risk individual-turning 60, diabetic and in remission with cancer. Better safe than sorry. For myself, but for all others as well. On the diet front, at this point I am just watching my quantities and putting more thought into the best course. Stay safe everyone!
03/19 β¦..200.8 β¦.. My grandson (age 3) is being taken to the nearest hospital (pretty far) to be looked at today. He is really sick with high fever, dry cough etc. They have a triage set up outside the hospital. You call inside when you get there and they test temp at your vehicle and see if anything warrants a test since the kits are scarce. Hopefully it is just normal seasonal sickness as we are still in the full throws of winter here (it snowed yesterday). On the diet front I am struggling and feel very scattered about what to eat. I am working on it. I am trying hard to increase movement inside this tiny cabin (my living room will not even fit a 5x7 rug between the couch on one side and the chair on another). Also, my motel office is at my entry and there is usually constant interruption (things, however, are going a bit slow now except for those already here). I usually have to leave to get privacy or 20 minutes straight. Iβm going to look up the Leslie Sansone walking programs today and see if I can get the wi-fi to get to my living room. It is horrible here in my area. Keeping fingers crossed as walking is what works best for me & my health! If nothing else, I will dance. Not much in the line of radio stations here, but I have Alexa and I turn her up to reach my livingroom and pray no one comes to the door. LOL Stay safe everyone!
03/20 β¦..201.3 β¦.. Iβm losing the game here by dropping the ball. Gotta start putting more thought into this again instead of news channels, texts and phone calls in regards to the virus which is taking up every spare minute of my time. Iβve already blown today but I can still make changes starting TONIGHT, NOT TOMORROW. In Michigan news, more deaths and more cases being reported. My local area still very short on supplies including bread, eggs, flour and many shelf staple goods but considering we only have one grocery store and we are no where near a freeway (for easy truck access) it is actually not too bad. Traveling to the big box stores like Walmart, I am hearing, is still a waste of time, people still hoarding. I am not in the habit of using much bread for myself, mainly my son. However, I still have some stock of all-purpose and self-rising flour left here from before if I need it. I got a double waffle maker to try chaffles for Christmas and I haven't used it yet. I can't get shredded cheese but I can shred my own if I can find it in block. I may try that in the next few days. I have been excited to see what chaffles taste like and how they will affect my overall plan. I have heard they are a game changer.
03/21 β¦..202.1 β¦.. Yesterday afternoonβs transgressions showed up on the scale this morning. Last night was much better. I may try some protein shakes. I am hoping I can get unsweetened almond milk to keep the calories and carbs down. I am hoping my SIL can pick me some up from the local grocery store and put it in the front seat of my car. I am trying to lay low. My son & I are feeling great and want to keep it that way. Last night I prep cooked some keto friendly meatloaf. Oh so good! I am freezing part of it. Today I will be making a spaghetti squash lasagna to freeze. I will also be making and freezing egg roll in a bowl as I have all the ingredients I need for it. If I can cut two meals with the protein shakes, eat my frozen keto meals and stick to my approved snacks then maybe I can turn this train around. I hope you are all doing well. I am saying my prayers and thinking of you all and your families. hugs

3/18: 139.0 (+.2) β This next several months will be challenging as we are all having to change our daily realities, activities, eating, etc. The more we can talk about it the better. I went to my small gym today (at a private club so its still open but they are limiting it to 10 people at a time. Thankfully I was by myself, and rode the bike for an hour and rowed for 10 min. I miss running and walking as I need fresh air. But I am determined to heal the hip and keep on keeping on. Everyone hang in there.π
3/19: 139.0 (0) Nothing new. Just trying to stay put and work, entertain myself, eat healthy, etc. I went to the nursery yesterday, waiting to get in as they kept it to 10 people and strolled around in fresh air and bought a few plants to repot my pots. That will be niceβ¦to be outdoors. Take careβ€π»π
3/20: 140.2 (+1.2) Ate like crap at dinner. Drank wine. Stressed and sad. Overwhelmed with all of this BS right now. Will try to do better. Sorry to be such a Debbie Downerπ₯
3/20: (139.8) (-.4) Went to the gym yesterday before it shut down. Was alone until I wasnβt so that was weird. Not any more. Peloton arrived today for a trial. Will give it a whirl later.π

@bearly63, this is extremely HARD TIMES. Noooo worries, WE WILL get through this! ****hugs**** When my gym closed down Monday, I thought thereβs absolutely no way Iβll be able to do this, Iβm doing it. Yesterday morning, I almost broke down and cried, instead I took Pete the Pug for a walk. Btw, I loved your post about β bought a few plants to repot my pots. Round 108 - March 18 to 28
Female, 5β, 67 years. SW β 163.8, GW β 164 something, UGW β 140.
Goals: continue with 12 hr. IF, see if I can complete my tracking every day and get focussed exercise most days β either gym exercises I can do at home, other (like fitness video). Donβt expect to go to the gym for 2 months and then my membership will be almost finished. We do have a treadmill that my husband uses so I guess I could get used to using that.
Day/Weight/Comment
03/18 β 163.8 β sick with the regular flu
03/19 β 161.8 β Threw up and then hardly ate yesterday, so it is a false low β but still lovely to see that #. Feeling much better today.
03/20 β 164.2 β Back to normal.
03/21 β 165 β Feeling pretty much recovered and it looks like my weight has too, lol. I did give in to snacking on graham crackers late last night, so if I stick with IF today maybe it will drop to 164βs. Have been getting more phone calls, texts than usual from extended family all checking up on each other. That with the online news has really put a dint in my organization and days. Today making a list and getting some fresh air and exercise time. Weather here is very early spring β rhubarb just emerging. Iβm toying with the idea of starting some plants inside for later transplanting. I havenβt done that in years but still have the light setup and itβs so much fun to see all the stuff germinate plus no idea if greenhouses will be open.

Here in BC, Canada things are just beginning to ramp up with Covid-19 and we have the largest # of cases and deaths in Canada. I'm in the interior though (just N. of Spokane, WA) and it has not really touched us here yet other than govt. regulations. We did get a call on Monday from our daughter in AB who is a paramedic. She warned us that our rate of spread is as fast or faster than Italy's and that the health system is expecting a huge hit. Her advice was get what you need right now while things are calm and then stay home. Her best guess was 2-3 wks., or less, till the health system is swamped and then a month or so before numbers start declining (hopefully).
While all that seems scary it actually helped me a lot because I had a rough timeline to work with. I could see a couple of weeks ago that we were in for it but my big questions were: How soon? How long? As soon as I was healthy enough (Tues.) I made a list of what I thought were essentials for 8 wks. (what I use in 1 wk. x 8) and sent DH to the store for that - since I'm still coughing away like mad at that point. It actually wasn't as much stuff as I expected; about like if I expected 10 people for Easter. There are just the two of us and I had been getting a little more each shop for the last few weeks and I do have fresh stuff I hope I can still pick up but overall feeling much better about it.7 -
I don't want to spend all my days focused on the news but I don't want to be uninformed either so I went looking for a few sites to bookmark that would give me a quick update for the day. One site I found, which is only Canada, was made by a Sask. univ. student off classes and gives a quick overview:

DAY / WEIGHT / COMMENT
03.18 / 93.6kg / We're on lockdown, advised to stay at home, social businesses are closed, social gatherings are discouraged, so we get no visitors, mostly because me and my kids are all sick (regular seasonal flu). Older one is 3 and a half, younger is a year and two months old, and staying at home all day alone with a huge list of treatments for all three of us has been stressful, trying to be on top of everything for them has left me slide back into emotional eating. We don't keep junk food at home so at least it's nothing like that, but it's noon and I've already shot my calories for the day, and I'm afraid if I slip back into this without hitting the breaks somehow I'll lose the progress from the past month. So I'm happy to have found the challenge and I think having to add those comments will help as well to process things.
03.19 / 95.2kg (+1.6)/ A bit after midnight but still not in bed so it's still today for me π I expected the weight to be up after yesterday but not as much, that kind of shocked me. I just have to keep reminding myself it will go down again in a couple of days so I don't fall into self-hatred. I always fluctuate by a lot, and I have always thought before I started weighing in daily those would probably be around a kilo top, but it's often two or three and it's shocking every time. Having a separate app that shows me a trend helps with reminding myself this is not real weight put on, it's just the result of a bad bad day. I use Libra to add those since it feels crappy to add them here even though mfp prompts for daily weigh-ins. I hate seeing an update on my feed that every few days I lose the same 0.5 kilos, so I just add when I've lost from my previous lowest. My calories for the day ended at being 1804, and with my tdee being around 2020-2300 I'm still happy with that. I usually aim for less but it's an improvement over yesterday and still keeps me on track. I've been able to be very strict until noon this time, had lunch and all that but I made something sweet for the kids and ended up getting way too much of that for myself as well. Without it it would have been a perfect day. Need to start preparing myself something to snack before I start making those cause otherwise I think I'll always be caving in, and I don't want to deprive them of having it at home just because their mom can't control herself. It's weird how easy it is to know how much they can have and follow it strictly cause I don't want them to be hurt by it as I am, and at the same time not be able to apply it when it comes to myself. I'm working late again and didn't snack after dinner however so I'm happy with that.
03.20 / 94.3kg (-0.9) I fell asleep with the kids It was overall a good day, again around 1800 since I went to see how my mom is and she had sweets. This time it wasn't an accident though, I checked the labels, made sure I eat exactly as much as I should based on that. Seeing the scale turning back around that quickly in the morning defintely calmed my nerves.
03.21 / 93.7kg (-0.6) Yaay, back where I started! Feels a bit like I've wasted a couple of days from the challenge, but that 92 goal is starting to seem achievable again. Oats for breakfast, small lunch, few snacks, and a small dinner. Drank some calories which I shouldn't have, but I kicked chores in the butt, have been up almost the entire day cleaning something. Ended up the day at 1474, which is right up where I want it to be. Keeping myself occupied has helped a lot, plus I sort of skipped dinner today since we had electricity issues and couldn't cook anything and there was enough left from the last meal just for the kids, so I had a bite of cheese, had my vitamin C drink thing, and left it at that. The funny part is I'm not even hungry and I'm not sure if my stomach is finally getting used to needing less or my brain being hyped about keeping up with the challenge. Either way I'll take it. Really hoping to see some actual loss in the morning, even if it's just by a 0.2. Just anything. The prognosis for the next five weeks said 89 and it's under 90 for the first time ever. I really really want to see that number again.

Still on general self-isolation. Daughter sent me a lovely fruit basket from M&S as we have decided not to visit for the moment. Staying in touch with both my girls on Messenger.
We had our first rhubarb dessert this week. I was low on flour, so buttered a large slice of granary bread and put it in top of the microwaved rhubarb and browned it under the grill. Poured a little vanilla yoghurt over it (DH had double cream) delicious.
Take care and stay safe. πππGeneral goal is to maintain below 150, and trend slowly downward to 145.Never give up! Never give in!
The downward trend is a bit slow for my liking, but at least it's is still downward.
Looking forward:
- March: I need to focus on getting back to where I was pre-Christmas
- 2020: Goal is to stabilise weight around 145
- Strengthen strategies to reframe the tendency to use unhealthy snack food as a reward/treat.
- Make sure I have prepared healthy snacks available
- Cut down on eating between meals
Back Story:2018:2020
My goal was to get down below 160, to allow me to enjoy the indulgences of holidays and celebrations.
2019:
I exceeded that and have been below 150 for most of the last 2 months.
In 2018, I put on 10 lbs over the last 2 months of the year.
In 2019, I consistently lost weight since the end of July. I put on about 4lbs over the Christmas break, but was still below my original 2019 goal.
That's a WIN in my book!
Focus: maintenance! I might even manage to lose a bit more ever so slowly.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

3/18: 272.0 lbs (-2.1) β¦ my uptick weight continues to fall off. Got in a nice run this afternoon, running for 28 minutes at a 12:00/mi pace. Felt good to get back to that after all the stress and uncertainty lately. Didnβt quite get enough steps in to hit my daily 10k goal by the evening so I went on an almost 3 mile walk at 10pm with my headlamp on. Hopefully I didnβt weird out my neighbors, but it was nice to get some fresh air and exercise. | Running: C25k Week 8 Day 1 | 15,806 steps |
3/19: 269.2 lbs (-2.8) β¦ big drop today, which I found surprising given that I didnβt eat super clean yesterday. This marks the first new low in about a week or so and now Iβve finally fully recovered from my recent uptick. Itβs a little dreary today but my wife and I are still going to go for our lunch walk anyway. Itβs good to get out of the house -- weβre feeling pretty cooped up being home all the time. | 10,741 steps |
3/20: 271.8 lbs (+2.6) β¦ up a bit today. Not surprised to be honest, yesterday was a big, unexpected drop. Might have just been a little dehydrated or something. | Running: C25k Week 8 Day 2 | 10,441 steps |
3/21: 270.6 lbs (-1.2) β¦ down again, a bit more reasonable of a dip this time. Had a very tiring day, went for a bike ride and then spent about 4 hours doing yardwork. | Bicycling: 5.5 miles | Raking 3 hours, Misc Yardwork 2 hours | 14,805 steps |

69 years old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
We used to walk 5 miles a day. A pinched nerve and back surgery side-lined me for about a year. Then I had back surgery. Then I had hip surgery March 10th. Recovery is slow. Sure do want to be back walking!

Round 108 (My 3rd round)
Goals for 3/18-3/27
1) Get down to 62.2
2) Stay between 1200-1400 calories
3) eat home cooked food 5 days a week and eat in moderation!
Starting weight, (2/01) 65.1kg
Before challenge weight (2/28) π 63.3kg
Round 106 end weight (3/07) π 62.6
Round 107 end weight (3/17) π 63.3 but I expect it was actually 62.7 and the jump was due to excess salt the previous day. I will know in about 24 hours if my weight drops back down.
3/18 63.3 calories were 1300
3/19 DNW calories were 1700 (I woke up too late to weigh)
3/20 62.5 calories were 1400. Ten days later and I'm back to where I was. Sigh. I've gotta do better on controlling my cravings!
3/21 DNW calories were 1344. I'm visiting a friend for a few days... Let's hope I can keep my calories down! I won't be able to weigh until I go home. The country I'm in has seen a sharp decrease in covid19 cases. My friend and I are staying in, though.

JGMTD Round 108 (30 for me)
Sorry for disappearing last round. There were so many changes to adjust to, and I never seemed to be able to get a post together. I went from being busy packing for a trip to see my son to being even busier cancelling travel arrangements, gearing up for teaching all of my courses online, picking up a few supplies, checking in with family, and keeping up with daily developments. More recently, Iβve been self-isolating (except for solitary walks outdoors), teaching online, and figuring this new reality one day at a time.

Day/Weight/Comment
03/18 β 165.8 β Starting this round in a good place. Although I didnβt post last round, I managed weigh in and meet my calorie and exercise goals most days. Today was a pretty good day, despite the grim news reports and increasing restrictions. My online class went pretty well and I met my goals. Iβm finding stability in the habits Iβve developed and serenity in my outdoor walks.
03/19 β 164.6 β After a rainy start to the day, the weather cleared and I got out for a walk again, tackling a more rugged trail to get my heart rate up. Iβm glad the parks are still open, although I donβt know how long that will last. Got a few chores done, but much of the day was spent addressing online teaching issues and providing long-distance support for stressed family members. My sleep schedule is totally shot, but Iβve been pushing myself to fix simple, reasonably healthy meals and to stay hydrated. Glad to have the structure of these challenges to help me stay grounded.
03/20 β 164.6 β Unseasonably warm, but such a delight to get out in short sleeves and enjoy the weather. I skipped most of the chores and took the dog for a long walk in the park. Did well on calories but a little under on hydration.
03/21 β 163.4 β Slept in and slightly dehydrated, so I think this number is misleading. Managed a short, chilly walk in the park with my husband and just squeaked in under my calorie limit. Didnβt get much work done today. I had a nice, long phone conversation with my son and saw my daughter briefly, although at a 6+ foot distance, since Iβm the support person for my mom. Things are ramping up very fast in NJ. Today we got our βstay at homeβ order, with most non-essential businesses closed and all gatherings banned. Fortunately, the parks are still open.

Day/Weight/Comment
03/18 134.4 β 7.08 miles walked yesterday, met up with sisters for afternoon tea.
03/19 134.2 β rain all day yesterday meant only managed to walk 4.83 miles, kept eating well under control though so 218 calories in credit, but carbs over.
03/20 134.2 β 6.47 miles walked yesterday. C-19 ? Biggest problem here in my area of the UK is stupid people stockpiling, shelves are cleared of TP, nappies, long life milk, flour, pasta, rice, long life milk, frozen veggies, basically anything with a long shelf life!! WHY ?? If everyone just shops as normal there is plenty for everyone. Schools shut for everyone except children of key workers from end of today. All over 70's are self isolating for 12 weeks & all public gatherings have been stopped. I am standing by and prepared to help with fetching & carrying, walking dogs etc. for anyone self isolating β I've not been called on yet. I think it's the media's approach that is causing the panics, so there have been minimum deaths so far here, far less than from other ailments, so why stockpile? Luckily, we're not on lock down; if I couldn't get out and walk I would go crazy, I really hope it doesn't come to that!!! Stay calm everyone and shop as normal.
03/21 134.8 β 5.5 miles walked yesterday, spent majority of day at my elderly housebound & in early stages of dementia MIL's, took her some essential supplies to find her just sitting in her chair staring at a blank TV screen. βThey've switched our electricity off, have they switched yours off?β She had not had a hot drink or eaten although she does have cold food available there. So after checking the neighbours was on, using their microwave to give her a hot meal and cup of tea, I started to try to get the power back on. Made some phone calls to power company and BIL & finally established that the cooker socket was tripping out the power. All this took time, but so glad to get everything back on. Gently chastised her to phone us if it happens again, but as she is stone deaf & has lost her hearing aids !!!!! She was due to be reassessed for new ones yesterday, but the home appointment was cancelled as she is in the very vulnerable group. She also will not accept any carers & lots of help of us her family too, she gets very annoyed at us thinking we are interfering and taking her independence away, thing is she is not capable of doing much anyway it's like walking on eggshells and very frustrating as we really want to help!
03/22 134.8 β 8.46 miles walked yesterday locally in lovely spring sunshine even if it was a little nippy! Happy Mother's day to all other mothers out there, stay safe and keep washing your hands. Meeting up with my DD, SIL & GSs at a park where we can safely meet up β at the required metre distance! It's our GS's 2nd birthday tomorrow. Our DS is in self isolation after siting next to a colleague at the start of last week with suspected but unconfirmed C-19, so only phone contact with him at the moment . Thankfully he's not showing any symptoms. Crazy crazy times.

Day/Weight/Comment
3/18 158.6lbs, 34.0%bf; 6h49m/74 - Rough night... hope to keep to as normal a schedule as possible.
3/19 157.6lbs, 33.8%bf; 7h57m/89 - much better!
3/20 158.1lbs, 33.9%bf; 6h20m/73 - working from home is entirely too sedentary.... I need to get it in gear!
3/21 156.4lbs, 33.4%bf; 8h14m/87 - don't ever underestimate the value of decent sleep for weight loss. Going to have to venture out today... I don't HAVE to have almond milk for my protein shakes, but I'd prefer to maintain some civility in my life during this insane time... and water shakes just make me sad. LOL
3/22 157.4lbs, 33.7%bf; 6h3m/79 - and I prove my own point about the importance of sleep... LOL.

Round Goal Weight: Any amount as long as it's a loss.
This is my 2nd round.
Starting to feel better, but having trouble getting rid of my cold. One-day I feel like I'm all better, and then the next day I don't feel good. Still have sinus problems and a sore throat. Wish it would finally go away for good.
Day/Weight/Comment:
03/18: 278.2 (-1.2 lbs) From (279.4) end weight for R107
03/19: 277.8 ,(-.4 oz) Today's my Birthday.
03/20: 274.8 (-3 lbs).
03/21: 272 (-2.8 lbs). This is probably due to the fact I'm sick. Nonetheless I'm grateful for the loss.
03/22: 271.8 (-.2 oz) I'd be very happy if I could finally get out of the 70's this round. π

I believe itβs stress. Iβm a nurse and on the front lines in the er and icu . So far no corona in our hospital but itβs still stressful. I am getting a hip replacement on the 25 th so more stress but Iβm continuing to try to stay on plan.

03/20 255 surgery is still on.

well the surgery is now off. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. I have to call my short term disability and rescind that and get back to work. We are tentatively scheduled for May 6. My surgeon felt bad but itβs out of his hands. Our hospital system has 28 hospitals and over 750 icu beds and not one patient with the virus but the government is forcing them too. I do understand but having none on bone pain and knowing I have to endure another 5 weeks just stinks.
