October is a new month!!! I’m so excited about what this month will bring. I took my measurements this morning and was quite happy with the results. I lost several inches from my waist, butt and hips. I hope to continue this loss through the month of October.

October Goal: Lose 1 pound each week and end the month at 171. I feel like this is doable.

10/1/20: 175.0-Starting the month off of a nice round number 😊

    SW:207 (5/1/20)
    CW: 189.5
    GW: 157
    Mini goal: 187
    Total weight lost: 17.5

Not much of a loss this week but it was a stressful one at work, so I’ll take it. Instead of eating my emotions last, I decided to re-think my goals and re-commit.

    1. Lose 12-lbs ... just 1-lb a week. With the holidays close, I need to keep it realistic.
    2. To start couch 2 5K when weather cools down a bit.
    3. Drink at least 80 oz/ day. This is not yet hardwired.
    4. Keep closing those rings each day and increase my step goal by 500 steps each month.

I actually woke up at the crack of dawn today to beat the heat and started the couch to 5K today!

    Tuesday weigh in
    SW 9/1 = 205
CW 10/6 = 200.2 I only went down by .2 this week. Did not make my mini goal of 199 by 10/1 :(
Will try to get on the treadmill more than just a couple times a week.

I feel your pain. I am less than 3lbs from the 20 lb mark and I am stuck. I keep gaining and losing the same pound. I am frustrated but I have faith in the process and will just keep pushing on until the scale decides to cooperate.

It took me weeks to lose .1 lbs to hit the half way mark. I wanted to quit so many times. I even gained 1.1 lbs ahhh then it went away. Hang in there.

Thank you @Leezy55. I remember your struggle with the half way point and appreciate the encouraging words. I am not going to let this hurdle beat me 💪🏼

    Question about activity level ...,

When do you know it’s time to change your level? I have been wondering if my calories are too low and if that is the reason I am stalled. My level is set to not active and my goal is 1200 cals for a 1.5 lb/wk goal. I changed it to lightly active today and it bumped the goal up to 1280. That’s not much of a change but on average, I eat less than 1200 and sometimes even less than 1000 (I know that’s bad).

So, how do you know what level of activity to choose? I have increased my steps from <5K per day to just over 8K/day on average for the last 2 months. I have been doing a minimum of one 30-min walk per day x 30 days and now started the C25K program. Do you base it on steps or workouts? How do know when it’s time to up your level in the settings?
