24 Hours of Exercise per Month Challenge - MAY 2020

Here's the 24 hour challenge thread for MAY. Let's do it again!! And welcome to any newcomers!

The goal is to accomplish at least 24 hours of exercise during the month.(MORE IS GREAT) Any type of activity that you would log in your exercise diary counts (both cardio and strength training) ~ walking, running, paddling, biking, swimming, gardening, weight training, dancing, HIIT, aerobics, elliptical, rowing, circuit training, stretching, etc. You get the idea.

For you BEASTS out there (you know who you are), if you want to do more, just post your personal goal that is over the baseline challenge goal.

And for anyone who wants to join part of the way through, just post a comparable goal to finish out the month (for example, joining half way through, post a goal of 12 hours).

There is no group for this and no private messages needed. No fancy spreadsheets either, just report your running totals here in the thread.

    Thanks for keeping the thread going! Ready to put in my hours for May. I am going for 40 again. I think, now that it is spring and there is a lot to be done outside, I should be able to meet 40 pretty easily.

    1) 1:14 walked dog 4.23 mi [F]

    MTD 1hr 14min [goal 30 hours]
    May 4.23 miles / 0X x-train
    April 23hr 23min / 74.16 miles / 4X x-train
    March 26hr 16min / 83.02 miles / 3X x-train
    February 20hr 35min / 54.18 miles / 7X x-train
    January 17hr 26min / 29.67 miles / 3X x-train

    Goal: 40hrs
    Will try to keep a schedule of 3 days strength alternating with 3 days cardio + 1 "rest" day (walks, bike tours, maybe hiking 🤞)

    Ideally, I'll go to bed earlier and do my main workout in the morning. This is my May resolution 🤫😎😃.

    4/1: 45 min HasFit tabata (loved it) +
    a long walk, I'll say 1 3/4h

    Total: 2:30 h
