So cool! You are shrinking as your kittens are growing. Great work!3

You're welcome - all the best to you! By the way, my PCOS symptoms are pretty much GONE. It really is true that disorders like that ease up as you lose fat. So I'm hoping the same for you. I grew up near the Canadian Border (BC area) and still remember French Sesame Street.4 -
No longer obese is the BEST news. I can’t imagine how good that must feel!
I’ve such a long ways to go and my tummy is literally a massive issue for me. I’ve really found your thread to be most inspirational. Looking forward to seeing your continued success x

Thank you so much! I gained a bit over Thanksgiving but expected that - I think it's mostly water. Am now challenging myself during December to do at least 50 unloaded squats every other day, and on my off days do at least 50 counter pushups, with the goal to replace some of those with knee pushups and work toward proper pushups. I haven't been able to do knee pushups that well till recently because my belly was getting in the way. That's where I carry most of my weight.4

Update: Still hovering around 162-163, but my fat percentage is 29.9 and my muscle percentage is 29.8. Very soon I'll have more muscles than fat! And I can ALMOST do a real push up! I can deadlift 2 sets of 5 at 130 pounds now and can also do 30 squats in a minute.7
-
This morning I got to 161.8, after about a month of work, which isn't too bad considering the season. My fat percentage is down around 29.6 and my muscle percentage is 29.9. Still can't quite do a real push up, but I can deadlift 2 sets of six at 130 pounds and likely more than that.
Here are some recent kitten pictures! I don't really look much different, though my arm muscles are starting to be visible with less droop. My size large shirt is now obviously too big when it was once way too tight. Sorry for the cruddy light - this is the only spot in my house that has even slightly adequate light and a full length mirror.

Thanks - I guess I have my youth. At 41 it's starting to feel like I don't, but I do feel a good bit younger than I did this time last year!

Thank you! I'm definitely working on some recomp now - I just wish the remaining blubber would come off faster. Well, it has, but still. I'll be 42 in June so I'm not too far behind, but I tell you I feel ten years younger than I did when I began this journey a year ago.
Latest numbers from my scale - taking them with a grain of salt but they are showing consistently with previous results: Fat percentage 29.5, muscle 30, weight 161.4. Hips 41, waist 35.3 -
Here's a slightly better pic. I have trouble getting pictures of myself but the lighting is SLIGHTLY better. My face is really different from what it was before, a little more angular, and I really don't miss that second chin I used to have. Funny how some things on it look more mature and other parts look younger. I figure not too terrible for 41 going on 42. Weight and measurements about the same as last post. Weight about 162, maybe a little under. Just got another wedding ring (simple titanium band) and it's a size 4 1/2 - I started out with a size 8 ring.
