@polskagirl01 Tippy thanks you. Hahaha about the slugs reproducing. I haven't seen that one and not sure I really want to. They're so gross. Glad the weather was nice and that people were able to get out and enjoy it. Great run! Love the picture.

The slugs. Basically they huddle up together and make a slimy mess. Try not to step on them. Or think about them while eating.
I'm gonna ride my bike today.4 -
@skippygirlsmom That cavern race sounds so awesome, and it isn’t TERRIBLY far from me, especially if I stay at my parents’ house the night before. That is the weekend I am running my virtual Beat the Blerch half though. I am definitely putting that down as a possibility for next year.
No run last night, but I went to my Pump class. It isn’t supposed to rain today (finally), so hoping i can get in a decent run after work.2 -
4.25 miles this morning. Nothing good to say, so I won't say anything. Mama taught me well.

Cloudy and mid 60s F this morning. Couldn't really find a rhythm -- either my legs were ahead of my lungs or my lungs were ahead of my legs. Think I'm starting to wear down mentally; need a weather change to perk me back up.
When you pop in here claiming your December 2020 mileage, what accomplishments will you have made?
Return to a good running weight of 175 lbs
Run at least 4 5k races
Get a 5k PR
Average at least 138k per month, to meet my Run the Year pledge of 1,020 miles
Stretch goal: If I can average 169k per month, I can run 2020k in 2020
Run the Year Team: Pavement Pounders

Got up a little early and went out for my run at 7:50 am. Today's schedule called for a 30 min Foundation Run - easy pace. It was 68°F and 94% humidity, according to Garmin. But, it was pretty foggy, so I'm saying closer to 100% humidity. The run actually wasn't too bad. Worst part was that I was pouring sweat, but due to the humidity, it wasn't helping to cool me down. Ran 2.25 miles and walked 1.
Also 15.25 miles/20 walking.

I ran 6.4 miles today. It was hot and I felt slow. Temperatures were in the mid 70's and it was pretty humid. It should be about the same tomorrow. I did run through the water sprinklers at the courthouse this morning and that was pretty nice. But I am really ready for fall.
Yesterday was my dad's 83rd birthday. We did a video call birthday party for him. He was really surprised and even though I'm not sure how much of it he was able to hear, he could see us and he knew that all 5 of his daughters and over half of his grandkids joined the chat. My older sister who was with him in his room said that he was really excited and was telling his nurses all about it. He's doing a lot better too and they are hoping to be able to move him back to the rehab facility today. I think it really just depends on the bed availability.

11/7/20: Run for 57th AHC Half Marathon6 -
Howdy. I'm back.
I know I'm late to the party, but I'm running. And I'm running my first ever virtual race... to the International Space Station! It goes from 8/17 - 11/8 to cover 400K/284.5 miles. As of this morning's run, I'm at 51.42 miles! Hurray! My goal is to finish it running in front of the Space and Rocket Center here in Huntsville, AL. Maybe on my birthday - 11/4!8 -
Welcome @WandaVaughn! There are a few others on here that are running the ISS virtual race too, but I forget who.
Very good to hear your Dad had a good birthday and is doing well @kgirlhart!Cloudy and mid 60s F this morning. Couldn't really find a rhythm -- either my legs were ahead of my lungs or my lungs were ahead of my legs. Think I'm starting to wear down mentally; need a weather change to perk me back up.
You and me both sir! How about we trade weather, that will be a change for both of us. You can have this 83F / 90% humidity at 5am, and I'll take your cloudy and mid 60sF!

Hey, everyone.
I don't know if any of you are friends with @PastorVincent on facebook, but I just saw a very horrible message from his wife.
She posted to say he passed away Monday from underlying health conditions?
I don't believe it. I am utterly heartbroken. But also. I don't believe it.6 -

You know, I was just thinking this morning that he hadn’t posted in a couple of days and that it was strange. 😢2
