Today for the first time since I joined the group that I lost weight...While the scale is still frighten of me, it struggled to report 283...it's not much, but feels good...
My plans for domination were halted this week by being a woman of child bearing age. M-Th I ate at a defecit and went down 2lbs then back up. I decided then to switch to eating at maintenance to as I was feeling more tired and lethargic.
I'm hoping this next week my period passes quickly and I'm able to get back to cutting down!
12/17 - 164.8
12/21 - 160.6
12/28 - 163.6
1/4 - 163.2
1/11 - 162.8
1/18 - 162.8 (a little frustrated no change but inches is what matters and for that, there has been change!)
My ticker shows the long view of my progress (I chose a frog because a turtle wasn't available).
I, for sure, won't be winning the Calaveras Frog Jump, but I'm slowly moving toward the finish line.
We all go at whatever pace we're capable of. The point is, we can all win our personal race!

Hello, hope its not too late to join in. I gained weight due to the pandemic. I started going back to my healthier choices with eating on January 1st. January 17th I incorporated walking on a treadmill for a minimum of 30 minutes. I will do this daily for awhile, then will do 5 days a week. I have only weighed myself on Friday mornings. My starting weight was 165, I have lost 2 pounds. Yay! I am 5'1, was 165, goal weight 120. Note: I want 120 so I can have the 5 extra pounds for fluctuation between 120-125. Well, good luck to you all and stay encouraged.
The "end" of my 2 days of stuffing myself silly ~ and now on to the "new beginning" and the return to healthier habits. When I struggle it means that I am still fighting ~ not giving up. I have had more days of healthy eating than I have of returning to unhealthy habits, so that is a win as far as I am concerned.
I hope I don't gain a bunch. I just got back from a 2 hour, nine mile hike and started eating eating eating: yogurt, blueberries, high protein cereal, milk, lettuce, bell pepper, grapes. Mostly healthy, I think. It's hard to know when to stop when I do something like this. Guess I'll weigh myself tomorrow and find out.

I'll weight in on Wednesdays. I am going to set ambitious [email protected]'s inspirational quotes. Since it's a 30 lbs challenge, I will make that my goal.
Good luck to everyone else on reaching your goals.

Tomorrow I am 90 days sober and planning a take away meal as a treat to celebrate the occasion.
I plan to go light on brekky & lunch and still count my calories.
Looking forward to a Chinese take away. Especially when it's been a while since last one. I used to eat them very regularly, but really, they are a treat food I think. Once in a while is better.
Just wanted to thank - RubyRed427 - for staring this group! Something about it felt positive & supportive and just 'right' if that makes sense?
And to everyone here posting their progress and kind words, thanks for being real & inspiring!!

So proud of my country today, undoing the MESS we have been left with. It will be nice to go weeks without worrying if one tweet will lead to a national calamity. This will help with my stress eating, no doubt.
