More deadlifts. Honestly these are bad angles. Backside and front side look terrible. I have no Butt so it always looks like my back is rounding. But it went up easy. Supposed to be lighter day so maxed out at 365 for 5.
You make it look like you're just lifting the bar! It just goes up so easily! 😍1 -

Not a GIF but...shows beginning, full depth, and the ascent.
Great lift - look at your head/neck position in the first pic - try to maintain that all the way down - rather than looking straight ahead when you descend - this was suggested on the 5x5 Reddit sub - I tried it and it feels a bit more comfortable to me - I’m no expert just thought I’d pass along something that’s helped me - keep up the grind4 -

Idk how to post a video on here but pretty psyched that the 215 I pulled during my meet last month I was able to pull for 4.... 215 may not sound like much but I’m 122 and 4’11 so it sure does feel like it 🤣

Sorry I haven't jumped in til now. I have had an emotional few days and kind of turtled and ate my feelings.
You are all amazing and I appreciate your contributions to this.
@rcl6 your skill with the bag is impressive! (and mesmerizing)

Thanks @ReenieHJ. I have some pretty intense personal issues (both physical and emotional) that are weighing me down right now. But I am also determined to keep making progress. ❤️ Some days are just a lot harder to make it through than others.
Finding balance is always a challenge, when everything seems like a priority. Hah.8 -
Idk really how this works, but...I did pics of bench and deads. I forgot that video would transfer to GIF and not just pics with animation on...

Ever have one of those days where your ego gets the best of you in the gym and you totally go off program to keep up with some punk kid? Well this Gif is the result of what that ego lifting does when you return to program. Bad form pendlay rows. It was only 275 so I probably won’t hurt by being a dumb *kitten* but I would deserve it if I did.
This is your PSA on why you shouldn’t ego lift.6 -

Today was 180lbs.i weighed in at 181.6 today.
I did the first set of 5 at 180. And they went... Ok.
So I added 5 pounds and did the next 4 sets at 185lbs!
HELL YEAH! BODYWEIGHT and then a teeeeeenie tiny bit. 😂
Granted... There was a fair bit of growling on that last rep. 😂
