I will be keeping the Thursday weigh-in (in addition to the 1st and last day of the month for the full tally)

Original Starting Weight (2016) 253.0
Aug start Weight: 192.4 (Weight on July 31st)
Aug Goal Weight: 187.4 (5 lb loss)
Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (I’ll know when I get there).
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Aug 01 : 191.4…..(trend weight 194.6)
Aug 05 : 191.2…..(trend weight 193.3)
Aug 12 : 190.0…..(trend weight 191.6) Progress. Posted early yesterday by accident. This is a bit higher than yesterday but down from last week's weigh-in. I'm happy it's moving down still, even with everything that is going on around me.
Aug 19: 187.8…..(trend weight 189.9) That is 2.2 pounds down this past week so I am very happy. I noticed on my spoiler on another challenge that I gained 19.8 pounds during the covid shut-downs in my state during Feb-Aug of 2020. It took a minute, but I have lost all of that back down (finally!) and am working on actual progress again. Staying hopeful that I will reach the 5 pound goal this round. My starting weight on July 31st was 192.4 so I am almost there. I need to lose 0.4 more. More importantly, I need not to gain! With some travel and a few social engagements left in the month, I must watch my p’s & q’s but I think I can do it!

I am 34 years old and 5’2”.
For the month of August, I plan to work out at least 5 hours a week and maintain a 7000 calorie deficit per week. Really hoping all my efforts result in a big change this month.

8/1 153.5
8/2 152.5
8/3 151.5

8/8 150.5 (3 pounds down this week!!)
8/9 151.5 (Not sure why the scale is going up. I am eating less than 1300 calories and exercising. I didn’t eat more salt than usual. I am sore from lifting so that could be it.)
8/10 151.25 (I have been crushing my workouts and my diet has been on point… I have been weighing every smidge of food).
8/11 149.5 (4 pounds down!!! 🌷)
8/12 149.5 (Pretty dang happy the scale didn’t bounce back into the 150s this morning)
8/13 148.75 (I ate super light)
8/14 149.5 (I was crushing ab day and stayed at the gym a bit later than expected. I left the gym a hungry beast. I didn’t realize store bought Alfredo sauce was so carb heavy. Homemade Alfredo sauce isn’t carb heavy like that. I didn’t realize it until I was eating and counting calories. Let’s see what tomorrow’s weigh in reveals).
8/15 149.75 (My diet and exercise has been consistently on point… just waiting for the scale)
8/16 150.0 (I meal prepped carnitas bowls and I have been eating sausage dogs w/homemade slaw. I have a feeling this may be higher in sodium than my usual meal prep).

8/18 149.75 (Still following my diet and working out. I am not sure why the scale isn’t moving. I was incredibly hungry yesterday. I ate a few more calories than I originally planned but everything on the menu was diet approved. On the bright side, my work clothes definitely fit better)
8/19 149.0 (It’s about time I saw the scale drop! Shooting for a couple low carb days and hoping for a bigger 21 day loss)

Aug. 15th- 190.6 (hard to drink the water while teaching w/out potty breaks.
Aug. 22th -189.00. Yahoo! I broke through the 190's!! Need to get back to exercising as my school routine sets in.

Back up a bit, but that was to be expected as I rehydrate. Feeling better and was able to eat yesterday, but my appetite was lower than usual. Wouldn't mind that after effect sticking around. Would make a calorie deficit much easier3 -
