Yes I get protein from the few sources he mentioned , plus a plethora of other sources he didn't mention........0
-
What are your sources of healthy protein?0
-
Let me guess, animal protein is unhealthy, right?0

Unhealthy, like saturated fat, hormones, antibiotics, cholesterol... Yup...
And don't forget the dairy industry waste product of cheese making called "whey"0 -

There's no tactics to convert you, keep doing what you're doing if you think it's scientifically sound...0 -
My dinner was COMPLETELY vegan except for the eggs, cheese, and bacon. I also had bourbon before dinner and will have more now.
Still healthy. How about you?0 -

I don't have a cardiologist. I'm about 40 years out from needing that sort of thing, if ever. I did however have a general checkup and bloodwork done within the last few months. My numbers were stellar, even with the somewhat raised stressed levels of having newborn twins at home, coupled with a long break from training.
How about you mind your own health and fitness before doing a lousy job trying to push an agenda.0 -
My Gran is 89 and has no health problems. She eats lots of chocolate.
PSA: Chocolate solves all health problems!
Am I doing this right??0 -

The scientific facts are, you will need a cardiologist, and if trying to promote good health is an agenda, guilty as charged...
Thanks for pointing that out...
if you don't have any scientific evidence to support your views, please stop being a cry baby about ignoring science...0 -
I'd be interested in seeing some science behind the idea of antibiotics and hormones ingested by animals having a negative impact on the humans that consume them.0

There is no scientific evidence saying that chocolate (cacao) is unhealthy, but chocolate can be made unhealthy by adding unhealthy ingredients... I've seen many scientific studies showing positive health benefits from consuming chocolate.
In fact the oldest documented human, Jeanne Calment, consumed 2.2 pounds of chocolate a week, she died at age 122...

Abstract
An almost endless number of observations and experiments have effectively falsified the hypothesis that dietary cholesterol and fats, and a high cholesterol level play a role in the causation of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. The hypothesis is maintained because allegedly support- ive, but insignificant findings, are inflated, and because most contradictory results are misinterpreted, misquoted or ignored. © 2002 Elsevier Sci- ence Inc. 1) No offense intended but you ruined your health by getting obese by eating in a chronic energy surplus. If you think your state of physical affairs was due to hormones or meat consumption you need to entirely discard your current resources for "learning about health and nutrition".
2) I would suggest looking at the research (by research I don't mean blogs, I mean the actual data used to form opinions) and see if it supports your current views.0 -

Please. That's insulting. If you ate how I eat and trained how I trained you would be in the best shape of your life.
