    Your heart is a muscle.

For what it's worth, you generally don't want to build that one.

Also, I love when people force facts to fit their beliefs.

That's not an assumption, that's a fact. Ask your cardiologist.

I'm a paramedic, I know what the heart is... the assumption is " you generally don't want to build that one."

I am vegan for ethical reasons I have found I can get a lot of protein from natural sources like avocados, beans, sprouts ect but if you still want some good protein powder try sunwarrior :)
Nature's circle of life, with billions of years of evolution supporting it... is unethical? Cheetahs must be real jerks, then.

Cheetahs are obligate carnivores...we are not

Probably. Seems like a logical fellow.

Huhhh - My only source of animal protein is eggs from my own battery rescued hens, don't drink milk or eat dairy - but even I am embarrassed by the continual barrage of psuedo-science coming from the OP.

Please stop it - you are giving us (vegans/veggies/everyone in-between) a bad rep!

Ever have a cheetah over for dinner? They're jerks. They pee on everything, and they're messy eaters.

This. Be vegan/vegetarian/whatever you want if YOU WANT TO. But please don't demonize other people and make false claims about health benefits.

Agreed. This is exactly the reason why meat eaters feel obliged to start posting pics of burgers and such...to counteract the terrible 'sources' that some people use to force their views and try to make it sound like there is validity to it.

OP, you have yet to provide any credible evidence that meat has a negative impact on our health, assuming that a generally reasonable diet is adhered to. All you will find is correlation studies where the diet as a whole may contribute to an impact on health markers and diseases.

mrmagee3 - I don't think you are taking this debate seriously. I have had many a Cheetah over for dinner and have found them to be positively charming. The reputation of these wonderful big cats have been tainted by an uncoothed minority of Cheetahs who have not had the benefit of a more sophisticated upbringing.

The peeing on everything is an urban myth which has been blown out of all proportion by a small number of mishaps by these vagabonds.

There's a joke somewhere about your grandmother being worse, because she ate your brother, but it's too early to really work it out. I need some coffee.

Even those of us who are dedicated meat eaters recognize that this isn't a vegan/veggies vs. meat eater debate, but the more irritating argument between science vs. pseudoscience.

This thread needs more cheetah gifs to provide the respect that it so richly deserves.

You should do some more heart presses.

I eat copious amounts of meat. If someone wants to eat tons of vegetables instead, that's cool. More meat for me.

    I don't want it to get too bulky . . .

I'm on the same page. With China's massive income growth there has been a corresponding increase in demand for meat. The more people we sell on veganism, the lower the cost of meat. It's all part of my evil plot.
