Oct 1: 169- on soft foods still since gum surgery yesterday but had to literally sit in my car for 20 minutes tonight and talk myself out of going into a store or fast food place and buying junk food just because it's Friday night. Came home and had sugar free jelly (jello) instead. Win!

I've been stuck over 12 for months, even though I've got a long way to go it feels great to see the number 11 on the scale again as I thought maybe I was permanently stuck after working so hard in 2018 to get under 11..

I'm skeptical of today's number - down a whole pound? I mean, ok, but I ate fries yesterday -- stayed in calorie count, but it was going to be fries or something much worse. To be honest, on days where you could commit murder for a food, I think that is your body telling you something. Maybe I've been really low on fat, because I've been eating lean for a while. Anyway, there's a chance tomorrow the scale will say 210.2 -

My husband's been out of town for work, and usually I eat the house out of food/junk. I've been really strict with myself (there are open chip and I haven't touched them!), but eaten a wide variety of food - not the routine same low cal food I usually give myself. This seems to be working for me this week. Lots of asparagus, tuna, some shrimp, berries and yogurt; or banana pancakes (just banana and egg) -- not on the same day, just across several days. And while I've been a little hungry at times, it's not ravenous. The food has been expensive though, that's really the downside. But I'm happy with the progress.
