Yesterday I dealt with a bad day...patting myself on the back today for not allowing it to stop me from working out. I am not proud that I came in severely under calories and protein. No bueno if I want to move forward with healthy weight loss.
Today's Goal: Log food, continue Day 3 of Mr. London's fupa challenge, and lift weights. Hopefully, some yoga and stretches before bed.

Hi there! I’m Athena, I’ve been struggling on and off with my weight for a good while and was recommended to try accountability buddies to help each other reach our goals. Thought this would be a good route for that! Let’s see if we can survive turkey day! 😆
My plan for the weeks ahead are to focus on eating at home and only go out to eat on Saturdays/Sundays (restaurant/fast food) and to focus on portion controlling. I’m also planning to work out for an hour three times a week.
Currently, I am only 4 pounds away from my heaviest but determined to make that number bigger this month.

Hello everyone. So I am in again. I had a crazy October. My weight chart looked like a volatile stock. Crazy peaks and valleys. I love how Jill can show her weight graph. Once I figure on how to do it, I will share. I am 61 married Nana. I spent yesterday baking and I stuck to my calories and lost some weight. Go figure. My goal is to get to 179 lbs by December. Thanks for all members support. It does make a difference.

So far since 11-1 I'm up on the scale. But I believe I'm doing things properly, that I'm losing, it's just normal fluctuations. It sure is easier when the scale is cooperating. But the real issue here is I tend to look at this as though there's a finish line and when I get there I'm done. If I accept this is a process with permanence there are no real setbacks only learning opportunities followed by adjustments to my approach.
Isn't it amazing how doing this exposes our personality, strengths and weaknesses? I'm always trying to be better and here in front of me is that opportunity. I commit!!!

Got home last night and immediately changed into a workout top. Did a couple household chores and was absolutely trying to talk myself out of exercising. At the last second, I said "Cindy -- you're already half way there. Open the app and do SOMETHING." So, I did a 25 minutes of arms and shoulders with light weights.
