Friday is forgiveness day for us today. It is time to let go of feeling discouraged and disappointed in ourselves.
When I look at this chart, I always feel bad that I couldn’t get a handle of my weight loss:
It’s time to forgive yourself for not being perfect. There are bumpy roads ahead, but with the right mind-set and the right attitude, we can achieve great success.6 -
This is my inspirational progress chart from the start of the monthly journey from September:
This to me is my inspiration. It takes time for things to get in sync, but when they do, it’s fun to watch the progress!
Happy Friday friends!

I’m Marsha. I’m 54 years old, 5’9” tall and my first goal is to get under 200 pounds. My ultimate and hopefully maintainable goal is 175 pounds….
Highest weight: 298 - I've never admitted this anywhere, even my MFP profile shows a much lower weight
Starting Weight: 205 - I have gotten under 200 but haven't been able to maintain it.
Current weight: 201
November weight lost: 4lbs includes 3lbs of water
November Goals:
Lose 10 pounds - 3lbs water, 7lbs just under 2lbs per week a bit ambitious
Continue to Log Daily
Continue to Weigh-in daily
'Flash' everything in my news feed before I eat it for accountability, logging isn't having the same effect. Honestly I don't look at anyones food logs, who has that kind of time?!?

You know those mountain climbing spikes (theyre called pitons apparently)? I feel like thats how I used snacks to get through my day yesterday....barely hanging on from chocolate to chocolate! This month I need to try to reflect on how I am feeling when I do that maneuver and see if there's a better way.
I've been there. Usually when stressed and feel my world is out of cotrol. Snacking is also an indication of not enough protein, too many carbs, or low chromium. For me doing the math and knowing my macros helps. I can look at my food log and make a decision about what my body needs vs what will make me 'feel' better in the short term. Short term decisions usually don't align with my goals and have negative long term outcomes.4 -

Hang in there, change can come in small increments that build to massive redirection. If this is part of your cycle to restrict and binge, make one change first in the direction of doing something different. For example, drink more water, or no eating after a certain time. Please know that I share in your struggle. We can do this! YOU CAN DO THIS!!! You can break your own cycle.9 -
11/1/21: 257.8
11/5/21: 256.2.
Time to get serious. Going low carb and fewer calories.9 -
Whoops made a booboo @gorple76 I wrote my note in the body of your note. Did not realize that I did that. Sorry, but the note is for you. Here it is again so it is more clear:

November 2: 302.7 😔
November 3: 301.7☺️

November 5: 300.9😔 I should give myself a supportive hug
Struggles: not wanting to cook after dragging my highly exhausted, 82 y/o father shopping to buy him a new suit for a wedding, eating out of the home, lays stax chips-highly salty, I retain water every time I eat them (I know better, but my tongue likes them)
Triumphs: transparency with logging of weight even with gains, BOSU exercises which help so much with full body muscle engagement (translation: helps me burn more), did not eat after 7:15 pm ( I am a late night snacker, then I stupidly go right to sleep 🤦🏾♀️), reading all of your logs and being inspired to keep going!11 -
@deepwoodslady So happy to hear your positive health news!! Now November is really going to be a good month.4

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend. This is your time to reset and recharge.
Nov. SW: 228.70
Nov. GW: 220
I could have done sooo much better yesterday. I did not do a single thing on my goals list. But, I'm not sad about it. Really been in a rut and rather not hurt myself in the gym. Going to list yesterday's goals as my goals again for today...but honestly...my main goal is to find some peace within myself today. If that is the only goal I accomplish, I'm okay with that.
Today's Goal: Log food, attempt to make it through Growwithjo on YT's HIIT Kickboxing video, and complete Day 4 of Mr. London's fupa challenge (Ideally, I'd like to do these, but I may give myself grace and do an active rest day)
Goals for the month:
Incorporating more fish and participating in meatless days
Weekly increase in weights
Increase workouts to 6x a week
November 1: 228.70
November 2: 226.40
November 3: 223.50 *I'm shooketh, but I know it's only due to me eating poorly yesterday.*
November 4: 222.60 *I'm learning that this is just a number to guide me. What I see and how I feel is the change I'm looking for*
November 5: 221.20 *Glad I did not pick up that bottle of wine like I wanted to *
"Do something today that your future self will thank you for."9
