Round goal: 140 lbs or less (I WILL be eating some holiday goodies!)
End-of-year goal: 140 lbs or less
End of Feb goal (vacation): 135 lbs, UGW
SW: 138.4 (from last Round, 12-17-21)

12/18. 138.4. Went to a Christmas party last night and followed my party food strategy. I expected a bit of an uptick, so all is good!
12/19 140.1. OK, so, following the Christmas party on Friday, I logged my best guesses for food. And although I followed my Christmas food 'strategy', I racked up close to 750 calories for the party. Admittedly, I probably guessed on the high side, but it was probably at least 600 calories. (My strategy is 3 goodies and one punch drink per party). Clearly, this was a oh, my gosh moment and I was able to justify not logging yesterday (don't try to figure out the rationale; there is none). Which, of course, included the reasoning to eat 3 cookies on a non-party day. In an hour or two, I will be going to another Christmas party, keeping to my strategy. And, yes, I am back to logging today. It has been a little disconcerting on how off-track my thinking got with one setback (awareness of the high calories even with my strategy). I think my strategy is reasonable, however. Although my goal for the end-of-the-year is 140 lbs, I will keep in mind my UG of 135 lbs end of Feb (vacation). (I'm already trying to brace myself for the end-of-year weight.)
12/30. 139.0 Followed my party strategy; goodies yesterday added up to far less than my last party! Still over a good 200 calories for the day, but that is ok/planned. Now, I only have (very) small family gatherings Christmas Eve and Day. These will be the higher calories count, for sure. I don't believe I've ever had a 'strategy' for holiday treats before, other than planning (and not following through) to not 'sample' goodies as I bake them. So, far, so good, although I more than likely will not be able to fit in exercise on Christmas Day.
12/21 139.0
12/22. 138.2. Visited with neighbors longer than expected yesterday, which resulted in me having a glass of wine and and cookie. Over my calories by just that much yesterday, but it is my strategy to have goodies (within reason) at get-togethers. Going into the home stretch for the holidays...
12/23. 139.0. Still all good. Saw some more neighbors last evening, but did not eat. However, I am finding that by eating more calories this past week or so that I am desiring more calories in general, supposedly feeling more hungry--whether it is hunger or not! I received my booster yesterday and my arm is sore, as expected. I had a mild headache in the middle of the night, but ibuprofen took care of that. Sadly, however, I was up for three hours! And...decided something warm may be conducive to sleep, so I had a good 1/2 cup of egg nog (!). It did work, btw, even being nonalcoholic, lol. I may be able to fit it in my calories for the day (probably not, it will be tight!). Of note, the egg nog was good, but not great, so I will not have it Christmas Eve or Day, as previously planned for at least one of those get-togethers. Be assured, however, I will be having some other drinks/punches those days, but few drinks can compare to calories as egg nog, I would guess.

12/26 141.5 Haven't posted for a few days, but I did weigh each day. The Christmas celebrations with family were wonderful, but now back to the business of dropping a bit more weight. Hopefully, for all of us affected, any Christmas-related uptick of weight will fall off quickly!

May 10, 2021: 183.1 - just 2.9 pounds off 186, my heaviest weight ever.
Calorie/Carb Cycling with an average of 1200 to 1400 calorie at the end of 10 days. 80 oz water each day. Row/Walk/Free-Weights most days. IF, no sugar. Focus on getting enough vegetables. If I hit each of these, the weight loss will follow!
Next goal: - 140's by my birthday, Feb 10.

12/18 - 159.8 - I started back rowing this morning. Rowed 30 mins and it felt so good. I'm going to walk this afternoon too before our first snow comes this afternoon and tonight. It's going to be cold this week so should stick around for a white Christmas.
12/19 - DNW
12/20 - 159.8 - Even though I'm weighing the same, I can tell I'm still losing. Shoveled snow yesterday, and drank 64oz water.

12/22 - 159.6 - Unlike my pre-Thanksgiving craziness where I ate for weeks, I'm still staying on track on all fronts. Waiting until Christmas Eve and Christmas day to indulge a little. That's it though - 2 days only - and going to walk both days and get my water in!!
12/23 - 159.5 - Just baked a cake. It has cream cheese frosting, which I love. I had a very small piece since I'm not indulging until tomorrow. I'm in shock because I had to scape off almost all the frosting. It was just too sweet. This is coming from someone who would eat half the bowl of frosting before frosting the cake and then add extra to my plate. Who is this person? All I know is I love her and I'm keeping her around for a long time! LOL

12/27 - 162.3 - good round solely because I didn't go off on a binge before or after Christmas - just a few days enjoying the holiday.
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
