    So glad that you posted those photos. This is going to be going on for a long time, and you have proven to be so patient.
    I love painted paneling for some reason, although I know that you aren't keeping it.
    The arch turned out great!
    Although this is upturning your life for now, it is also very exciting!

    When on Google photos, if they have been uploaded in your phone, we sometimes need to hit that circle with an arrow thing to refresh to the newest on the computer.

    Keeping doing the same thing will provide the same results.
    We have all tried to change our eating/lifestyle.

    Using what lost me a bunch of weight as a yardstick seems to be keeping me around the same weight. I don't know yet if it will also help me to get the last 25 pounds off, or if I will need to change what I am doing. Time will tell.

    The last time that I lost weight years ago I stopped tracking, thinking that I knew the portions and approximately how many calories I was consuming. Soooo, I gained 50 pounds.
    Never again. I am okay to track my calories the rest of my life rather than buy bigger clothes.
    Lately I have been putting my food in the tracker for the following day, knowing what I have taken out of the freezer. If I change it then I change what is on the tracker. It is keeping me honest and realistic.

    I get it that naturally skinny folks don't have to do this, those of us wanting to lose weight do.

    If you bite it, write it.

    So many great articles on this and studies of people who did and did not use food diaries. Double the progress by tracking 7 days a week for 6 months compared to those who don't.

    I am spending about 2 minutes per day putting my food in the tracker, but then again, I often eat the same thing so when I drop down breakfast the stuff is all there just requiring a checkmark.

    This is a weight loss journey. Not easy!

    @dawnbgethealthy "If you bite it, write it" I love it! Of course, I have to be willing to face my choices each day! I haven't been 100% ready for that yet but I'm getting closer. I actually track the first part of my day and then quit if it gets complicated. I'll get there. I've been on MFP a few years now so I know what to do, I've just got to get the resolve to do it. It is getting a little nicer here too on some days. While I don't feel I can tackle most of my street due to the incline, there is a small part which is less drastic that I could try (down at the cul-de-sac). It will be a little boring doing it over and over since it's only one house and a small strip of woods away but I am determined! I miss my walking! I am also waiting to hear if I can resume walking inside our K-12 schoolhouse. They stopped allowing it due to covid and I don't know if they will allow it again yet. Plus, there is a different principal now. I've put the call out and hope to hear we can do it after school. Planning a long walk like that would be actual exercise, not just NEAT which is our standard day to day walking movements. Wouldn't that be fantastic? In the meantime, lots of toe tapping here, some arm movements while sitting although using the arms can become a bit aerobic and keep me winded. Pacing when on the phone really adds up!

    Thanks for the comments on the pics. I'm not sure how to make them smaller LOL. But you get the idea of how messed up and in my face the work and the workers are. It is moving very slow because of poor Charlie. It will likely be MONTHS before I get the area back. However, like you said, it will be nice in the end. I chose a backsplash tile yesterday and brought one sheet home to test against paint. I love it. It's perfect but pricier than I would have hoped. I need something with a little pizzaz though since the cabinets will be white. I dread looking at the counter situation. The U-shape is the most expensive because of the seams at both corners. That means custom counters. For a nice surface (customed) we are talking between 2000 and 3000 and it is a small kitchen! My eye teeth are already falling out but I just don't want those seams that I would have in a laminate. That price is for an average looking granite (not spectacular looking) or a "hard surface" which is basically a Corion countertop. Any and all ideas from the gang here are appreciated.

    There are some silver glints to match going behind the stainless steel sink as well as the stainless appliances coming in. There is some dark brown which will match the laminate flooring. The rest is a shade of taupe which will perfectly match my paint. This should jazz up plain white cabinets a bit without going over the top. I'll coordinate my counter top selection when the time comes. I'll snap a pic with the tile against the projected paint color when I get a few minutes.

    My pic came out looking a little black & whiteish but hopefully you'll get the idea. This shows the taupe paint, the tile and the flooring that will be used. The tile has the dark parts to match the floor, the silver glints to match the appliances and sink and the taupe to coordinate very well with the walls. Now just to pop color into my accessories. All of mine are red for the kitchen and I may continue to use that color since I do like it if it's not overdone. On the left side of the pic you see Cat Pebbles' ear. She matches too and just wanted you all to know lol.

    Day 65…..04/04…..198.2…..(Trend weight 199.5) Really no change in behaviors here (though there should be more!) I’m not sure why I go up and down but here it is today. Lowest weight since Mar 14. I’ll take it, shake it and see what I can do with it.

    Day 66…..04/05…..198.8…..(Trend weight 199.4) My daughter brought donuts home last night which was a special treat from out of town. I just wish she had brought ONE. Today I am planning a big pot of soup for dinner and she is inviting her boyfriend to join us. I will keep portions under control and try to make up for yesterday a bit. Cooking is challenging right now. The stove is in the livingroom sitting on a cement board on the carpet. The kitchen is fully gutted down to studs so dishes are in my bedroom and anticipated food items we may need in the next month or two is upstairs on the landing. Pots & pans on the console style entertainment piece under the LR tv. The back & forth for every spoon or glass is giving me extra steps. It all adds up!

    I joined MFP October 28.18 at 191
    I averaged a 1 pound loss per month, so very slow.

    My ideal healthy weight by plugging in my numbers (height, age, measurements etc.) is 110-118

    I was close to the 120s in February of 2021 at 130.6.
    I was 131.1 in September of 2021. I somehow gained quite a bit since then, but in March of 2022 I did a cleanse to reset my body and eating habits and ended up with a small loss at the end of the month, the first loss in a long time.

    3/31 - 135.2
    4/01 - 137.4 - 2.2 pounds overnight?? I had a healthy and active day yesterday, so hoping that it is just a weird fluctuation. I am still going to use my EW from March as my start weight for this month though. No point (in my mind) of counting a loss if it is not cumulative.
    4/02 - 136.2 - Terrible day eating wise, I was so busy, then stressed, so basically didn't eat all day and then ate a bit but nothing nutritious. I will try to do better today.
    4/03 - 137.0 - Very early weigh in, I feel leaner than that. Up and down is normal for me though. I will get lots of activity in today, my day off, and will have time for healthy food prep.
    4/04 - 136.4 - Not a very good day for nutrition. Calories and activity were good.
    4/05 - 137.6 - ?? Such as it goes. Lots of workouts, good food choices.
    4/06 - 137.2 - Lots of workouts, good food choices, but very long workday and didn't finish dinner until midnight. Tonight will be the same.
    4/07 - 137.0 - It has been a busy work week for me with a couple of late nights. Food choices could be a bit better, but not bad overall.
    4/08 - 137.6 - Quite shocked by the jump, I awoke feeling quite lean and expected quite a drop today. My only difference yesterday was increased water. Maybe tomorrow : - )
    4/09 - 135.4 - Thank you all for the hugs yesterday. You would think that with 3+ years on MFP that I would be used to these fluctuations. I am okay to see a jump if I have had some indulgences, but when I am "good" consistently and keep seeing a rise I still get upset and demoralized by it. Today's weight was what I expected to see yesterday. Today I am going to have some indulgences, I will keep it under control and get lots of workouts in to mitigate it.
    4/10 - 136.4 - Up a pound, but expected it and am okay with it. I had nachos for dinner, so salt. Calories were within range. Having an indulgent meal is nice once in awhile.
    4/11 - 136.8 - On point yesterday, hopefully the last of the effects of nachos are showing up today and that tomorrow I will be lighter.
    4/12 - 136.6 - I thought that it would be lower, but better than yesterday, so I will take it.
    4/13 - 137.0 - I have been very "good", and creating good sized deficits from activity. Not happy to see this number this morning, nor expecting it. Trying to teach myself to take it in stride. Thinking that my body is a bit stuck around this weight, but going to keep working at it.
    4/14 - 135.8 - I don't know if my "good" week is catching up, or if this is just another fluctuation. Man this is hard!
