Staying on Track Has Never Been Easier — Introducing Your New Dashboard!

In a survey sent to MyFitnessPal members last year, 95% of respondents indicated that they were interested in seeing a Dashboard feature — the highest requested feature out of 20 potential options.
You told us what you wanted and we listened. With our new Dashboard, you’ll now be able to log foods and exercise, track progress toward your goals, adjust your data, see beautiful visuals of your daily progression, and much more — all from your home screen.
Try your new Dashboard and comment below to tell us what you think!
- Log foods at app launch. We know — you’re tired of tapping through to search for food or scan a barcode. Now you can now do both from the bottom of your Dashboard.
- Quickly log your daily exercise & weight. Simply tap the “+” icon on the respective card to log your daily exercise and weight. It’s that simple.
- See all of your data with a tap. There’s more data behind every card. Tap on any card in your Dashboard to view more historical data, charts and analysis. Need to adjust a previous entry? You can do that with a tap, too.
- Scroll through your nutrition goals. With a simple swipe, Premium members can now scroll between a carousel of nutrition goals — calories, macros, heart health and carbs — that gives you more of today’s data at a glance.
- View consumed and remaining nutrients. Previously, your daily progress card only showed nutrients remaining. Now you'll have extra details: see what you've eaten and how much you have left. If you’ve gone over your target, you can see that, too.
- See the headway you’re making on your goals. Are you consistently hitting your goals? Now, you can view your daily progress toward your goals for steps, exercise, and weight in your Dashboard.
- Bye-bye red indicators, hello pattern overlay. Depending on the nutrient type and your goals, going over or under specific nutrient targets can be a good thing (for example, going over your fat macros target may be less than ideal for one person, but a goal for another). Instead of turning red, exceeding a target will now be indicated with a pattern overlay, which also helps with members who experience color vision deficiency.

Mine doesn't look like that.5

Since my dashboard update my app has become pretty much unusable. It now crashes, closes itself, won’t register apple health exercise data unless I remove and re sync my watch. The user face is extremely slow to react and clunky. It has the potential to be good but for now I’ll use to app solely to log in and get my streak.33

I can’t find water tracking anymore- did that go away?6

I can’t use the dashboard as everything freezes.11
-
Don't like it - everything is crowded together. Need option to delete things or move around..want the old view back.33

I'm happy with it. It's not too different than before, you just need to get used to the layout change. However, I would like to see a quick link to my groups or even the community tab because that's what I use most in the 'more' section.10

Don't like the new layout, looks like you changed things just for changes sake. Also cannot see food/ meals macro break down any more, only days total. You used to be able to turn your phone on its side and you would see the breakdown for every individual food. That was great.20

It doesn’t work. It doesn’t scroll, causes the app to crash. The notifications no longer work. There is no progress portion. The messages at the top of the dashboard are random and at times are downright rude— there should at a minimum be an option to turn them off. Attempts to log food from that screen often do not work. There is no longer an option to choose which screen is the first screen that comes up, so I cannot choose if I see the diary or the newsfeed first instead of the non-functional dashboard.
Way too many bugs to launch this one.26 -
I was excited to see the new layout & am loving it. My Apple health data like steps & active exercise isn’t importing correctly now though (was before)….. also have seen app slow down at times and crashed once.5

I'd like to have the bottom menu back, to be able to quickly go to my profile page. 🙏9

Hello! Dashboard is being rolled out over the next couple of weeks. If you don't have dashboard yet, be on the look out for it by the end of the month.2 -

Hi @sweetdianachka, you can still log water directly in the Diary. Click on Diary in the bottom navigation bar, scroll to the bottom and click on "ADD WATER" in the water section.1 -
The dashboard is not working this is so disappointing, not able to log my weight. Can’t get to the next step my brain hurts just cannot make it work.8

Please see our support article on how to log weight in the Dashboard. https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/5217312657293-New-Dashboard-FAQ#h_01G1RS7XFKGNRKBM459QQAVF81

I just got the new dashboard. While I'm not having the issues that a lot of reported, it seems pretty pointless. It's as if you made a change just for the sake of making a change. There's absolutely nothing new, just everything is rearranged making everyone waste time trying to relearn the app. Instead of wasting time on a pointless update...why not use that time to fix the glitch that prevents us from seeing the bottom comment on our posts which I know many people have complained about?27

Same issue shifted the sync with Apple Watch to iPhone appears to work better but slow to sync. Can’t wait for the next update to iron out these bugs

Yeah
Hi
Im new here
Hoe do i find myself around3 -
I’m tracking carbs
It was not tracking correctly
Then it corrected to give accurate information
Now it is back to not working
Tried to submit an email request but it comes to a point where it says ‘add file’. What file?
It’s basically unusable now1 -
I can’t see the days total9
-
I have been gone for a long while. Where are my excecises to follow? They use to be at the very beginning.6
-
Sorry, but I don't like the new dashboard at all. Plus it doesn't seem to be working correctly on my Samsung phone. It would be nice to have the option of going back to the old dashboard.20
-
I don't like this new dash board .

The video showing what the Dashboard looks like is nothing like mine on IPad. I can’t find my progress page which has two years of data and progress photos on . The instructions given by FAQ are useless as it’s telling me to click on three horizontal lines on the menu page….no menu page and no three horizontal lines ! My phone version of Dashboard completely different, the progress page is awful, everything crammed in so I can’t see the graph clearly as it had two years squashed together so unable to actually see the weight recorded. I’m considering giving up and going on Nutracheck instead.5
-
The new dashboard is too messy and I need to search through to find the metrics I’m actually interested in.7
-
Replace the Plans tab at the bottom with Community! I know…plans is where money is made and community is not, but it would be so much easier!6
-
I am unable to see total lbs lost when selecting different date ranges under progress. I would like to see how much I’ve lost since the start or over the last 3 months or the past month, for example. I was able to see this before the new dashboard was introduced.8
-
Now I can’t find where to track my weight.
Get the bugs fixed. I’m not paying $19.95 for this8 -
